Applied AI Letters is an open access journal publishing concise artificial intelligence communications at speed. Edited by experts from across research and industry, we publish incisive, rigorous, short papers that use AI to solve real-world challenges. Our highly interdisciplinary articles demonstrate how AI can tackle problems and create opportunities across sectors and industries, from healthcare and pharmaceuticals to security, infrastructure and beyond. The scope includes deep learning models, knowledge representation techniques, Industry 4.0, security and ethical considerations, and challenge areas.

Since its launch in 1968, Applied Acoustics has been publishing high quality research papers providing state-of-the-art coverage of research findings for engineers and scientists involved in applications of acoustics in the widest sense.Applied Acoustics looks not only at recent developments in the understanding of acoustics but also at ways of exploiting that understanding. The Journal aims to encourage the exchange of practical experience through publication and in so doing creates a fund of technological information that can be used for solving related problems. The presentation of information in graphical or tabular form is especially encouraged. If a report of a mathematical development is a necessary part of a paper it is important to ensure that it is there only as an integral part of a practical solution to a problem and is supported by data. The Professional Animal Scientist (PAS) is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal and the official publication of the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS). The purpose of ARPAS is to provide certification of professional status for qualified members of the society, to strengthen animal sciences among the professions, and to promote animal sciences and the work of animal scientists. Continual education is required of all certified professionals to keep abreast of rapidly changing technology in their fields.

In continuous publication since 1985, PAS is a leading outlet for animal science research. The journal welcomes novel manuscripts on applied technology, reviews on the use or application of research-based information on animal agriculture, commentaries on contemporary issues, case studies, and technical notes. Topics which will be considered for publication include (but are not limited to): feed science, farm animal management and production, dairy science, meat science, animal nutrition, reproduction, animal physiology and behavior, disease control and prevention, microbiology, agricultural economics, and environmental issues related to agriculture. Themed special issues may also be considered for publication.

This journal is devoted to publishing the highest quality innovative papers in the fields of biochemistry and biotechnology. The typical focus of the journal is to report applications of novel scientific and technological breakthroughs, as well as technological subjects that are still in the proof-of-concept stage. Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology provides a forum for case studies and practical concepts of biotechnology, utilization, including controls, statistical data analysis, problem descriptions unique to a particular application, and bioprocess economic analyses. The journal publishes reviews deemed of interest to readers, as well as book reviews, meeting and symposia notices, and news items relating to biotechnology in both the industrial and academic communities. Applied Biochemistry and Microbiology (Prikladnaya biokhimiya i mikrobiologiya) publishes original articles in biochemistry and microbiology of present or potential practical applications. The scope of the journal includes studies of enzymes; mechanisms of enzymatic reactions; biosynthesis and biogenesis of physiologically active compounds and the pathways of their regulation; biocatalysis in organic synthesis; and metabolic engineering. Applied Catalysis A: General publishes novel papers on all aspects of catalysis of basic and practical interest to chemical scientists in both industrial and academic fields.The scope of Applied Catalysis A: General includes the following:Scientific understanding of any catalytic phenomenon.
