Chemistry of Materials is a biweekly hybrid journal devoted to the publication of original contributions on forefront, fundamental research at the interface of chemistry, chemical engineering, and materials science. Both theoretical and experimental studies which focus on preparation or understanding of materials with unusual or useful properties are relevant. Research areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Solid-state chemistry, organic, inorganic and polymer chemistry directed to developing materials with novel optical, electrical, magnetic, catalytic, and mechanical properties, among others
• Fabrication and processing of electronic, magnetic, or optical materials and devices, including thin films by chemical vapor or solution deposition
• Design, synthesis, investigation and application of polymeric and molecular precursors to solid-state inorganic materials
• Preparation and study of biomaterials, nanomaterials, composites, catalysts, liquid crystals, coatings, thin films, interfaces, and self-organized molecular assemblies
• Materials for sustainability, energy, environmental, and biomedical applications

Chemistry of Natural Compounds publishes reviews and general articles about the structure of different classes of natural compounds, the chemical characteristics of botanical families, genus, and species, to establish the comparative laws and connection between physiological activity and the structure of substances. Chemistry of Natural Compounds is a translation of the peer-reviewed Russian language journal Khimiya Prirodnykh Soedinenii. The Russian Volume Year is published in English from April.

ChemistrySelect is the latest journal from ChemPubSoc Europe, an organization of 16 continental European chemical societies, and complements the existing titles published in collaboration with Wiley-VCH. The steady increase in submissions to the top titles is forcing them to become increasingly selective, and as such, often good research articles are failing to find a home within the ChemPubSoc Europe family of journals. To fill this considerable need, ChemPubSoc Europe decided to launch ChemistrySelect. A sister journal to Chemistry—A European Journal, ChemPlusChem and ChemistryOpen, ChemistrySelect offers researchers around the world a quality society-owned journal in which to publish their work.

Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems publishes original research papers, short communications, reviews, tutorials and software descriptions reporting on novel developments in techniques for chemistry and related disciplines that are characterised by the application of statistical and computer methods.Chemometrics is the chemical discipline that uses mathematical and statistical methods to design or select optimal procedures and experiments, and to provide maximum chemical information by analysing chemical data.The journal deals with the following topics:1) Development of new statistical, mathematical and chemometrical methods for Chemistry and related fields (Environmental Chemistry, Biochemistry, Toxicology, System Biology etc.)2) Novel applications of chemometrics to all branches of Chemistry and related fields (typical domains of interest are: process control, experimental design, data mining, signal processing, supervised modelling, decision making, robust statistics, mixture analysis, multivariate calibration etc.) Routine applications of established chemometrical techniques will not be considered.3) Development of new software4) Well characterized data sets to test performance for the new methods and software.The journal complies with International Committee of Medical Journal Editors' Uniform requirements for manuscripts.

Chemosensors (ISSN 2227-9040) provides an advanced forum for the science and technology of chemical sensors. It publishes reviews, regular research papers and communications. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. All aspects of chemosensing are welcomed from theoretical concepts to education and training. We also welcome manuscripts on classic chemical sensing – be it wet chemistry or biological sensing using enzymes or cells and other model organisms. Drug testing and medical/diagnostic testing are also included under this umbrella. We welcome results of field testing or assay validation as well, whether it be at the research level or from commercial pretesting. We also ask for perspectives from people working in the field or editorials that concern prominent issues related to chemosensing. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. There are, in addition, several unique features of this journal: Manuscripts regarding research proposals and research ideas will be particularly welcomed. Electronic files and software regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material. We also accept manuscripts communicating to a broader audience with regard to research projects financed with public funds. Chemosphere is an international journal designed for the publication of original communications as well as review articles. Chemosphere, as a multidisciplinary journal, offers maximum dissemination of investigations related to all aspects of environmental science. Chemosphere will publish: • Original communications describing important new discoveries or further developments in important fields of investigation related to the environment and human health • Reviews, mainly of new developing areas of environmental science • Special, themed issues on relevant topics.

Chemotherapy publishes original research articles and state-of-the-art reviews on all aspects of antimicrobial and antitumor chemotherapy. The results of experimental and clinical investigations into the microbiological and pharmacological properties of antibacterial, antiviral, and antitumor compounds are major topics of publication. Papers selected for the journal offer data concerning the efficacy, toxicology, and interactions of new drugs in single or combined applications. Studies designed to determine the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of similar preparations and comparing their efficacy are also included. Special emphasis is given to the development of drug resistance, an increasing problem worldwide.
