Zeitschrift für Geomorphologie main volume is a peer-reviewed international journal presenting original contributions of high scientific standard from all fields of geomorphology, encompassing basic research and applied studies. Zeitschrift für Geomorphologie (ZfG) invites the submission of original papers from the entire field of geomorphological research, both applied and theoretical. Fundamental and Applied Limnology is an international journal for freshwater research in the widest sense, including problems of marine biology and brackish water research. Papers dealing with ecological topics are especially welcome in association with experimental or physiological studies. Zeitschrift der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Geowissenschaften (ZDGG) is an international peer reviewed journal that accepts papers on research and applied topics in the Earth Sciences. It is published online and in print. One volume, consisting of four issues is published annually. The journal is continously published by German Society of Geosciences (DGG) since its foundation in 1848. It was relaunched in 2005.ZDGG invites the submission of English, German and French language papers from all fields of geology, hydrogeology, paleontology, tectonics, sedimentology, engineering geology and of course environmental geology to name a few. The editors of ZDGG also invite suggestions for thematic issues.Manuscripts submitted for publication should advance our understanding of fundamental geological, hydrogeological, tectonic and sedimentological processes or conditions or deal with novel approaches to applied problems. Neues Jahrbuch für Mineralogie (Abhandlungen) publishes thorough, detailed studies of up to 30 printed pages as well as short and concise papers and notes (less than 15 printed pages) on mineralogy, i.e. crystallography, crystal chemistry, petrology, geochemistry and economic mineralogy (mineral deposits).All papers are subject to peer review and will be published with the least possible delay within about 6-8 months after having been accepted by the Editor. No page charges are levied on regular papers. Neues Jahrbuch für Mineralogie also publishes topical issues and thematic sections. Authors interested in contributing are encouraged to get in contact with the editors.Beginning with 2005, Neues Jahrbuch für Mineralogy (Abhandlungen) publish all papers formerly submitted to the two subjournals Abhandlungen and Monatshefte. It is published online and in print in the large format 21x28 cm (8.3 x 11"), i.e. twice the content than in the previous small format.2-3 volumes of Neues Jahrbuch für Mineralogie (Abhandlungen) are published per annum. Entomologia Generalis is an international journal of general and applied entomology.It publishes papers on experimental, comparative and descriptive problems and studies in all fields of research on insects and other terrestrial arthropods. It aims to continually supply new information on the results of recent and current studies and promising theories in this field of science, relating simultaneously to various fields or closely connecting them.Entomologia Generalis emphasizes the publication of original research papers (6–20 printed pages). Furthermore, reviews of entomological problems (6–20 printed pages) are invited, as are summaries of high standard research results. Furthermore, short communications are published about new findings, concepts, observations etc, as well as exchanges of views and methods (4–10 printed pages). Finally, preview abstracts are presented of work which is being completed, but not yet ready for publication in a more extensive form (Synopses of 1–6 printed pages). .

PFG is an international scholarly journal covering the progress and application of photogrammetric methods, remote sensing technology and the intricately connected field of geoinformation processing.Papers published in PFG highlight new developments and applications of these technologies in practice. The journal hence addresses both researchers and student of these disciplines at academic institutions and universities and the downstream users in both the private sector and public administration.PFG places special editorial emphasis on the communication of new methodologies in data acquisition, new approaches to optimized processing and interpretation of all types of data which were acquired by photogrammetric methods, remote sensing, image processing and the computer-aided interpretation of such data in general.

Neues Jahrbuch für Geologie und Paläontologie continuously publishes current original contributions from all fields of geology, ever since its foundation in 1807. All published contributions are in the English language.On the occasion of its 200th anniversary in 2007, Neues Jahrbuch für Geologie und Paläontologie is proud to announce the merger of its Monatshefte into the Abhandlungen!This means that as of 2007, Neues Jahrbuch für Geologie und Paläontologie is published as a single, unified journal of Earth Sciences.

Palaeontographica publishes peer reviewed contributions to paleozoology and paleobotany. Founded in 1846, it is one of the oldest scholarly journals in paleobiology. Its editors include a large number of landmark paleontologists (see history). Its claim to fame were and still arelarge format, high quality plates and careful descriptions and interpretations of source materials of paleontological research.From 1846 to 1933 paleozoological and paleobotanical papers were published side by side journal. In 1933, the paleobotanical papers were branched off into a separate journal, Palaeontographica Abt. B. The title of the paleozoology part of Paleontographica was correspondingly renamed to Palaeontographica Abt. A (Paleozoology) at the same time.

Palaeontographica publishes original monographic contributions of paleozoological contents of less than 80 printed pages. Its claim to fame is the large format and very high quality plates. Palaeontograpica is thematically subdivided in two Abteilungen (sections): Abteilung A publishes papers on paleozoological and stratigraphic problems while papers published in Abteilung B deal with paleophytological (paleobotanical) problems and their application to stratigraphy.
