This journal highlights the myriad breakthrough technologies and discoveries in plant biology and biotechnology. Plant Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture (PCTOC: Journal of Plant Biotechnology) details high-throughput analysis of gene function and expression, gene silencing and overexpression analyses, RNAi, siRNA, and miRNA studies, and much more. It examines the transcriptional and/or translational events involved in gene regulation as well as those molecular controls involved in morphogenesis of plant cells and tissues. The journal also covers practical and applied plant biotechnology, including regeneration, organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis, gene transfer, gene flow, secondary metabolites, metabolic engineering, and impact of transgene(s) dissemination into managed and unmanaged plant systems. PCTOC: Journal of Plant Biotechnology features scientific articles that detail novel discoveries, mini-reviews, original articles, research notes, and original methods.

Plant Ecology publishes original scientific papers that report and interpret the findings of pure and applied research into the ecology of vascular plants in terrestrial and wetland ecosystems. Empirical, experimental, theoretical and review papers reporting on ecophysiology, population, community, ecosystem, landscape, molecular and historical ecology are within the scope of the journal.  The journal publishes peer-reviewed Research Manuscripts (maximum length of 6000 words) and Research Letters (maximum length of 2500 words, maximum of four tables/figures), reviews and special issues by submission and by invitation. Long monographs (up to 9000 words) may be accepted by the Editor-in-Chief where a case is made by the authors  in relation to work of the highest quality. Plant Growth Regulation is an international journal publishing original articles in English on all aspects of plant growth and development. Published papers report on question-based research using hormonal, physiological, environmental, genetical, biophysical, developmental or molecular approaches to the study of plant growth regulation. Emphasis is placed on papers presenting the results of original research. The journal occasionally presents reviews on important topics. Plant Molecular Biology is an international journal dedicated to rapid publication of original research in all areas of plant biology. Since its founding in 1981, it has continually ranked among the leading journals. Coverage addresses important biological problems of broad interest. Coverage includes research in comparative genomics, functional genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, computational biology, biochemical and regulatory networks, and biotechnology. Preference is given to publication of results that provide significant new insights into biological problems and that advance the understanding of structure, function, mechanisms, or regulation. The aim of this Series is to highlight the latest international findings and advances in plant pathology and plant disease management, and plant pathology topic specialist, Congress and Workshop organisers, coordinators of broad International projects are invited to consult with the Series Editor regarding their topic’s potential inclusion in the series. 

Under an agreement with Springer, a Book Series based on the invited lectures at the 9th International Congress of Plant Pathology ICPP2008, Plant Pathology in the 21^st Century was initiated and four books covering key themes were published. Following on the procedure for the 2008 Congress, three additional volumes in the series were published on themes which were key topics at ICPP2013, held in Beijing, China, while two new books are almost ready from ICPP 2018 held in Boston (SA). Moreover, more books were published in between Congresses, covering up-to-date topics in plant pathology. In light of the initial seven volumes’ success, the ISPP has now concluded an agreement with Springer to broaden the scope of the Series and publish additional volumes.

The goal of the International Society for Plant Pathology (ISPP; www.isppweb.org) is to promote the global advancement of plant pathology and the dissemination of essential information on plant diseases and plant health management. This book Series looks of particular interest due to the upcoming International Year of Plant Health (2020).

Plant Systematics and Evolution is an international journal dedicated to publication of original papers and reviews on plant systematics in the broadest sense. The journal aims to bridge the specific subject areas in plant systematics and evolution, encompassing evolutionary, phylogenetic and biogeographical studies at the populational, specific and higher taxonomic levels. Taxonomic emphasis is on green plants.

Plant and Soil publishes original papers and review articles exploring the interface of plant biology and soil sciences, and offering a clear mechanistic component. This includes both fundamental and applied aspects of mineral nutrition, plant-water relations, symbiotic and pathogenic plant-microbe interactions, root anatomy and morphology, soil biology, ecology, agrochemistry and agrophysics. Articles discussing a major molecular or mathematical component also fall within the scope of the journal. All contributions appear in the English language. Plasma Chemistry and Plasma Processing is an international journal that provides a forum for the publication of original papers on fundamental research and new developments in plasma chemistry and plasma processing. The journal encompasses all types of industrial processing plasmas, ranging from nonthermal plasmas to thermal plasmas, and publishes fundamental plasma studies as well as studies of specific plasma applications. Application contexts of interest include plasma etching in microelectronics and other fields, deposition of thin films and coatings, powder synthesis, environmental processing, lighting, surface modification and others. Includes studies of chemical kinetics in plasmas, and the interactions of plasmas with surfaces.

Plasma Physics Reports (Fizika Plasmy) was founded in 1975 in order to publish papers on a comparatively young and extremely fruitful branch of modern science - plasma physics. The journal covers the following topics: high-temperature plasma physics related to the problem of controlled nuclear fusion based on magnetic and inertial confinement; physics of cosmic plasma, including magnetosphere plasma, sun and stellar plasma, etc.; gas discharge plasma and plasma generated by laser and particle beams. The journal also publishes papers on such related topics as plasma electronics, generation of radiation in plasma, and plasma diagnostics. As well as other original communications, the journal publishes topical reviews and conference proceedings.

Plasmonics publishes peer-reviewed articles that both advance and report on the knowledge and practice of the interactions of free-metal electrons, Plasmons. Coverage includes theory, physics, and applications of surface plasmons in metals, and rapidly emerging areas of nanotechnology, biophotonics, sensing, biochemistry and medicine. The journal covers the theory, synthesis and optical properties of noble metal nanostructures, patterned surfaces, continuous or grated surfaces and devices. Applications include surface-enhanced spectroscopic properties, such as Raman scattering or fluorescence, as well developments in techniques such as surface plasmon resonance and near-field scanning optical microscopy.
