Ukrainian Mathematical Journal publishes articles and brief communications on various areas of pure and applied mathematics and contains sections devoted to scientific information, bibliography, and reviews of current problems. It features contributions from researchers from the Ukrainian Mathematics Institute, the major scientific centers of the Ukraine and other countries. Ukrainian Mathematical Journal is a translation of the peer-reviewed journal Ukrains’kyi Matematychnyi Zhurnal, a publication of the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Updates in Surgery, the official journal of the Italian Society of Surgery, is an international, English-language, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the surgical sciences. Four issues are published each year. The Editorial Board considers various types of papers pertaining to surgery-related topics, such as original clinical studies, reports on surgical procedures and new bio-technologies, and comprehensive reviews on timely surgical issues. Case reports are considered only if they provide original facts, particularly concerning the diagnostic process or surgical treatment.
Urban Ecosystems is an international journal devoted to scientific investigations of the ecology of urban environments and their policy implications. The scope of the journal is broad, including interactions between urban ecosystems and associated suburban and rural environments. Special emphasis is placed on the ecology of urban forests. Contributions may span a range of specific subject areas as they may apply to urban environments: biodiversity, biogeochemistry, conservation, ecosystem ecology, environmental chemistry, hydrology, landscape architecture, meteorology and climate, policy, population biology, social and human ecology, soil science, urban planning and wildlife and fisheries management.
Urban Forum is concerned with both the broad developmental issues of urbanization in the Third World, and no less provides a distinctive African focus to the subject. Urban societies are examined from a variety of perspectives: issues of local governance, the role of city planning in free market systems, and the impact of multiethnic and multicultural formations in urban affairs. The journal makes a special effort to examine specific cities in developing nations as legal and cultural entities in their own right. Urban Forum can be a core journal in sociology, political science, economics, as well as urban studies.
Urban Review provides a forum for the presentation of original investigations, reviews, and essays which examine the issues basic to the improvement of urban schooling and education. The broad scope of topics presented reflects awareness of the multidisciplinary nature of contemporary educational problems.
The journal aims to publish original articles in the fields of clinical and experimental investigation only within the sphere of urolithiasis and its related areas of research. The journal covers all aspects of urolithiasis research including the diagnosis, epidemiology, pathogenesis, genetics, clinical biochemistry, open and non-invasive surgical intervention, nephrological investigation, chemistry and prophylaxis of the disorder. The Editor welcomes contributions on topics of interest to urologists, nephrologists, radiologists, clinical biochemists, epidemiologists, nutritionists, basic scientists and nurses working in that field.
The journal was formerly published as 'Urological Research'.
