The Journal of Small Animal Practice (JSAP) is a monthly peer-reviewed publication integrating clinical research papers and case reports from international sources, covering all aspects of medicine and surgery relating to dogs, cats and other small animals. These papers facilitate the dissemination and implementation of new ideas and techniques relating to clinical veterinary practice, with the ultimate aim of promoting best practice. The JSAP publishes high quality original articles, as well as other scientific and educational information. New developments are placed in perspective, encompassing new concepts and peer commentary. The target audience is veterinarians primarily engaged in the practise of small animal medicine and surgery.

Journal of Smoking Cessation is the world's only publication devoted exclusively to the treatment of smoking cessation. The journal is targeted specifically to the area of smoking cessation at the "grass-roots" level, focusing on observational studies that have practical implications for those assisting smokers to quit. It is a high quality peer-reviewed publication with an international editorial board that has itself wide experience in the field of smoking cessation.

Published for The Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI), the Journal of Social Issues (JSI) brings behavioral and social science theory, empirical evidence, and practice to bear on human and social problems. Each issue of the journal focuses on a single topic - recent issues, for example, have addressed poverty, housing and health; privacy as a social and psychological concern; youth and violence; and the impact of social class on education. A subscription to JSI also includes a full subscription to SPSSI's two other journals: Analyses of Social Issues and Public Policy (ASAP) and the newest title, Social Issues and Policy Review (SIPR). An archival, print version of the annual collection will be provided to all SPSSI members and paid subscribers to JSI, ASAP, and SIPR.

The Journal of Social Philosophy seeks to publish creative approaches to practical and normative issues of contemporary social life, such as those arising from economic and other forms of globalization, violent political conflict, and the multiplicity of cultural experiences worldwide. It places new emphasis on understanding the social contexts for political, legal, moral, and cultural questions, and gives priority to the development of novel theoretical frameworks, from social ontology to care ethics to cosmopolitan theories of democracy, human rights, and global justice. The Journal's editorial process proceeds online, with blind review of articles not only by referees but also by the editor, and aims to deliver timely responses for submissions. The Journal also on occasion publishes special issues focusing on topics of vital practical concern, in the conviction that these can be better understood with the aid of disciplined and innovative philosophical analysis.

MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Journal of Supply Chain Management is to be THE journal of choice among supply chain management scholars across disciplines, by attracting high-quality, high-impact behavioral research focusing on theory building and empirical methodologies. To be suitable… * Extend or test existing theoretical bases in supply management or contribute to theory building in supply management; * Use rigorous methodologies and analyses which address the multiple dimensions of validity; and * Clarify and enhance understanding of the role of various aspects of supply management in the global competitiveness of organizations. CRITERIA FOR PUBLICATION An article published in the Journal of Supply Chain Management must make a strong contribution to supply chain management theory. This contribution can occur through an inductive, theory-building process or a deductive, theory-testing approach, both of which may occur in a variety of ways (for example, falsification of conventional understanding, theory-building through conceptual development or inductive or qualitative research, initial empirical testing of a theory, theoretically based meta analysis or constructive replication that clarifies the boundaries or range of a theory). Manuscripts should explicitly convey the theoretical contribution relative to the existing supply chain management literature and, where appropriate, the existing literature outside of supply chain management (for example, management theory, psychology, economics). Manuscripts published in JSCM must also make strong empirical contributions. While purely conceptual manuscripts are welcomed, these papers must significantly advance theory in the field of supply chain management and need to be strongly grounded in extant theory and relevant literature. For most empirical manuscripts, whether quantitative or qualitative, authors must adequately assess validity, the sine qua non of empirical research. Appropriate research techniques include: * Statistical analysis of survey research, including, but not limited to: * Structural equation modeling; * ANOVA and MANOVA; * Cluster analysis; * Regression analysis. * High-quality case study, structured interview or ethnographic research that is used to augment other empirical data from the same study or is used as the primary methodology to test hypotheses or build grounded theory; * Laboratory and field experiments; * Secondary data analysis, including archival studies, meta analysis and content analysis; * Conceptual theory-building; * Social network analysis; * Other techniques as appropriate. Finally, articles published in JSCM must also have practical relevance, although the editorial team recognizes that relevance to practice might be comparatively indirect for some manuscripts. However, manuscripts that are primarily practitioner-focused and that have managers as their primary audience should be submitted to a practitioner-oriented journal.

Journal of Surfactants and Detergents, a journal of the American Oil Chemists’ Society (AOCS) publishes scientific contributions in the surfactants and detergents area. This includes the basic and applied science of petrochemical and oleochemical surfactants, the development and performance of surfactants in all applications, as well as the development and manufacture of detergent ingredients and their formulation into finished products. Manuscripts involving performance, test method development, analysis, and the environmental fate of surfactants and detergent ingredients are welcome.

The Journal of Surgical Oncology , published in 12 issues a year, offers peer-reviewed, original papers in the field of surgical oncology and broadly related surgical sciences, including reports on experimental and laboratory studies related to surgical oncology. In addition, peer-reviewed columns include Rapid Communications, in-depth Reviews on topics of current interest, and brief reports about technical innovations ('How I Do It'). Invited Editorials and Letters to the Editor round out the scope of the journal.

Journal of Systematics and Evolution (JSE, since 2008; formerly Acta Phytotaxonomica Sinica) is a plant-based international journal newly dedicated to the description and understanding of the biological diversity. The Journal of Texture Studies is a peer-reviewed international journal historically specialized in the texture and sensory perception of food and other consumer products. The journal was first published in 1969 and has been the primary source for disseminating advances in all sciences related to physical characterization and sensory perception of texture, in particular in areas such as food rheology and microstructure, tactile senses and texture perception, texture features and material attributes (composition, structure, and processing), food oral consumption, and studies associated with eating and sensory appreciation.With the ever expanding research interests of texture studies and increasing cross-disciplinary research with the allied health industries, the Journal has redefined its scope to better reflect the broadened research activities and interests associated with texture and sensory perception. Journal of Thyroid Research is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies in all areas of thyroid research.

During the last 30 years Time Series Analysis has become one of the most important and widely used branches of Mathematical Statistics. Its fields of application range from neurophysiology to astrophysics and it covers such well-known areas as economic forecasting, study of biological data, control systems, signal processing and communications and vibrations engineering. The Journal of Time Series Analysis started in 1980, has since become the leading journal in its field, publishing papers on both fundamental theory and applications, as well as short communications on theoretical developments. Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine publishes rapidly and rigorously peer-reviewed research papers, reviews, clinical case reports, perspectives, and short communications on topics relevant to the development of therapeutic approaches which combine stem or progenitor cells, biomaterials and scaffolds, growth factors and other bioactive agents, and their respective constructs.
