World Leisure Journal
As the official journal of the World Leisure Organisation, the purpose of the World Leisure Journal is to stimulate and communicate research, theory, and critical thought in all areas that address leisure, including play, recreation, the arts and culture, sport, festivals, events and celebrations, health and fitness, and travel and tourism. Empirical and theoretical manuscripts, as well as position papers, review articles, and critical essays are published in the World Leisure Journal .
The World Leisure Journal is international in scope, and encourages submissions from authors from all areas of the world. Comparative cross-national and cross-cultural research reports are especially welcome. For empirical papers, all types of research methods are appropriate and the subject matter in papers may be addressed from perspectives derived from the social, behavioural, and biological sciences, education, and the humanities. Both pure and applied research reports are appropriate for publication in the World Leisure Journal . In addition to original research reports and review essays, book reviews, research notes, comments, and methodological contributions are appropriate for publication in the World Leisure Journal .

World's Poultry Science Journal

Worm
Aims & Scope:
Worm publishes original research involving nematode model organisms, in particular C. elegans. Worm provides a forum for the research community to promote research, ideas, and technical advances of interest. Since findings in invertebrate model organisms like C. elegans often also have important implications for vertebrates, articles published in Worm are important to the wider research community including those working to understand the molecular basis of human diseases.
Worm publishes brief reports and longer research articles, technical and methodological advances, commentaries and review articles covering all areas of research from development to evolution, from genetics to systems biology, from metabolism to neurobiology and from molecular biology to genomics. Because Worm is not topic-oriented, it is well suited for multi-disciplinary studies or studies transcending traditional areas of research. Worm also encourages submission of short reports and articles whose initial audience might be primarily the worm community itself. In addition, it is possible to directly submit manuscripts rejected elsewhere with reviewer's comments included for quick assessment and potentially rapid acceptance.
Submitted manuscripts are initially assessed by the editors and if found suitable for further consideration, will be subject to peer-review by independent experts.

The Yorkshire Archaeological Journal, first published in 1869, is the oldest journal devoted to the past of the historic county of Yorkshire. a /b: Auto/Biography Studies enjoys an international reputation for publishing the highest level of peer-reviewed scholarship in the fields of autobiography, biography, life narrative, and identity studies. a/b draws from a diverse community of global scholars to publish essays that further the scholarly discourse on historic and contemporary auto/biographical narratives. The journal upholds its almost thirty-year legacy of publishing by pushing ongoing conversations in the field in new directions and charting an innovative path into interdisciplinary and multimodal narrative analysis.
The journal accepts submissions of scholarly essays, review essays, and book reviews of critical and theoretical texts as well as proposals for special issues and essay clusters. De arte publishes articles on original research in the visual arts, art history, art criticism and related disciplines. This policy is aimed at making the journal representative of a variety of viewpoints and emphasises its interdisciplinary approach. Articles will be forwarded to two referees who must recommend publication in the journal. While the dominant style is of a scholarly nature, the journal also invites contributions for its rubric of Book Reviews. Letters to the Editor may be published. disP - The Planning Review

Photographies seeks to construct a new agenda for theorising photography as a heterogeneous medium that is changing in an ever more dynamic relation to all aspects of contemporary culture. Photographies aims to further develop the history and theory of photography, considering new frameworks for thinking and addressing questions arising from the present context of technological, economic, political and cultural change. Photographies investigates the contemporary condition and currency of the photographic within local and global contexts. The editors seek research papers and innovative visual essays, shorter papers engaging new debates, review essays evaluating publications, cultural events, key developments, exhibitions and conferences. Ñawpa Pacha: Journal of Andean Archaeology ("antiquity" in the Inca language) is the oldest, most prestigious peer-reviewed journal in Andean studies. Founded in 1963 by John Rowe at University of California Berkeley, the journal has for four decades been publishing the most important and innovative research on the archaeology of the Andean region of South America.
