1. Does your research have global implications?

2. Do your findings suggest how best to serve children, youth, and families?

3. What could all school and evidence-based psychologists learn from your results?

4. Should the generation, dissemination, and preservation of research be an important part of what you do?

5. Have you considered how you could (and perhaps should) help developing countries, demonstrating the importance of evidence-based initatives?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you should consider publishing your work in IJSEP.

The International School Psychology Association’s (ISPA) new official journal, the International Journal of School & Educational Psychology ( IJSEP), is now accepting articles. Researchers and practitioners alike are invited to contribute papers to the journal. IJSEP requires authors to follow the most recent APA Style Manual, meeting all stylistic and ethical guidelines. The Editor-in-Chief, Editors, and Editorial Board are made up of individuals from around the world and include prominent scientists, senior practitioners, and a group of student reviewers. These individuals make recommendations about what articles should be published. The journal is unique in that it attempts to include the views of these different individuals.

IJSEP
seeks to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western psychology, special educational, learning, and school-related practice. The journal accepts empirical papers that contribute to the knowledge base of teaching, learning, schooling, cross cultural psychology, school psychological services, applied educational psychology, educational research, assessment, new models of instruction, and other psychology-related international areas. The journal emphasizes the publication of outstanding research articles, but also considers literature reviews, and methodological or theoretical statements relating to any critical international school or education issues. While we realize that most learning takes place between ages 0 and 21, IJSEP also focuses on adult learning, special education services with individuals of all ages, and learning and schooling across the life-span.

The editor takes the bulk of the financial risks of publishing. The profits go mainly to the broadcaster and distributor of books, which are responsible, to canvass the booksellers and take their orders as well as routing the books to bookstores, to fill orders taken. These operations cost the publisher between 50 and 60% of turnover generated by the book. The rest of sales goes to the author (about 10% share of this figure much lower, around 6% for comic books, and can reach 20% or more for best sellers) and the publisher, who can pay, in addition to its employees (editorial assistants, press officers, charged with manufacture, designer, etc..), the entire work of the book (printers, proofreaders, freelance photographers, possibly librarians, etc.. ). The publisher who coordinates the course of the "book chain" and, often, which also establishes the financial plan incorporating the expected costs and expected gains, as in any business.

International Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution and Information Processing

ISSN: 0219-6913eISSN: 1793-690X

International Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution and Information Processing (IJWMIP) considers the current state-of-the-art theories of wavelet analysis, multiresolution and information processing as well as their applications. This journal aims at publishing papers in both the theories and applications, concentrating on the practical applications of the wavelets, multiresolution and information processing to all areas in science and engineering. The IJWMIP publishes articles of four primary types:1. Original research papers,2. Correspondences,3. Overviews and summaries,4. Descriptions of systems and software packages.Papers are published under two categories, namely: regular papers and short papers (or correspondence). Regular papers usually report results of original research, or may be a well-focused survey that puts recent progress into a broader perspective and accurately assesses limits of existing theories. Short papers are similar to the regular papers, describe original work but are usually not as in-depth and as detailed as the regular papers. The publication of special issues on active topics is encouraged. Colour reproductions of pictures and schematics are provided, if necessary. All published articles are made available to the major indexing/abstracting services.Submissions in all areas related to the theories and applications of wavelets, multiresolution and information processing are welcome.

International Journal on Software Tools for Technology Transfer

ISSN: 1433-2779eISSN: 1433-2787

The International Journal on Software Tools for Technology Transfer (STTT) provides a forum for the discussion of all aspects of tools supporting the development of computer systems. It offers, above all, a tool-oriented link between academic research and industrial practice.

Tool support for the development of reliable and correct computer systems is of growing importance, and a wealth of design methodologies, algorithms, and associated tools have been developed in different areas of computer science. However, each area has its own culture and terminology, preventing researchers from taking advantage of the results obtained by colleagues in other fields. Tool builders are often unaware of the work done by others, and thus unable to apply it. The situation is even more critical when considering the transfer of new technology into industrial practice.

STTT addresses this situation by (1) publishing accessible papers that introduce researchers and practitioners to state-of-the-art tools and techniques and (2) channeling comments, queries, and feedback about tools and papers in the Online Forum with highlights published electronically.

STTT focuses on three major technical themes:

1. Construction and analysis issues: These involve hierarchical and compositional approaches: syntax-oriented vs. semantic methods: synthesis vs. verification: formal support of the entire system life cycle, including requirements capture, design, implementation, verification, testing maintenance, evolution: and analysis of non-functional aspects of system behavior, such as real-time, probability, and efficiency.2. Practicality issues: These address performance, genericity, and usability of tools: case studies and experience reports: and industrial use and feedback.3. Generic tool issues: These include paradigms (fully automated vs. interactive approaches): design issues (modularity, efficiency, portability, integrability, reusab, ility): automatic support (tool generators, integrators, and interface builders): and user interfaces (graphics, Web forms, retrieval).

STTT comprises Regular Papers, Special Sections in the form of Special Issues or Thematic Sections, the Formal Methods Letters (FML) with its own Editorial Sub-board, an Opinion Corner with Position Papers and Reviews, as well as an Online Forum for more instantaneous discussion. All these kinds of contributions are handled via the STTT online service http://sttt.cs.tu-dortmund.de/sttt-regular/servlet/Conference.

Due to STTT's emphasis on technology transfer, we encourage an illustrative, example-driven presentation style that focuses on the underlying themes. Technical material and detailed proofs that are not necessary for the comprehension of the essence and the impact of the contributions should be replaced by adequate referencing of other publications or be provided separately in an online appendix. This way the journal provides a fast and intuitive entry into new material and new themes, and, at the same time, the online appendix gives experts easy access to the related technical or theoretical details. These include proofs, definitions of complicated underlying calculi, and discussions of related theories, as well as other information concerning implementation issues, user documentation, benchmarking information, and raw experimental data, which go beyond the general interest.

International Reviews of Immunology

ISSN: 0883-0185eISSN: 1563-5244

This review journal provides the most current information on basic and translational research in immunology and related fields. In addition to invited reviews, the journal accepts for publication articles and editorials on relevant topics proposed by contributors. Each issue of International Reviews of Immunology contains both solicited and unsolicited review articles, editorials, and 'In-this-Issue' highlights. The journal also hosts reviews that position the authors' original work relative to advances in a given field, bridging the gap between annual reviews and the original research articles. This review series is relevant to all immunologists, molecular biologists, microbiologists, translational scientists, industry researchers, and physicians who work in basic and clinical immunology, inflammatory and allergic diseases, vaccines, and additional topics relevant to medical research and drug development that connect immunology to disciplines such as oncology, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic disorders.Covered in International Reviews of Immunology:1) Basic and developmental immunology (innate and adaptive immunity; inflammation; and tumor and microbial immunology);2) Clinical research (mechanisms of disease in man pertaining to infectious diseases, autoimmunity, allergy, oncology / immunology); and3) Translational research (relevant to biomarkers, diagnostics, vaccines, and drug development). The editors' intent is that this journal provide the most recent and relevant information, hence the submissions are being reviewed by members of the editorial team and / or experts in the field; yet the turnaround time is short, in order to insure that the reviews contain the latest data. An international board of editors makes sure that the material presented is as broad as possible, both in terms of the geographic distribution of contributors and the range of interests represented.Read More: http://informahealthcare.com/page/iri/Description.
