Television & New Media (TVNM), published bi-monthly, is an international journal devoted to the most recent trends in the critical study of television and new media. TVNM addresses questions of how issues of economics, politics, culture and power are enacted through television and new media forms, texts, industries, and contexts. Topics for the journal engage with critical and interdisciplinary research into audiences and consumers, authors and producers, cultural history and geography, globalization, policy, citizenship, activism, and pedagogy as well as the intersections between social identities, such as race, class, and gender.

Text and Performance Quarterly publishes scholarship that explores and advances the study of performance as a social, communicative practice; as a technology of representation and expression; and as a hermeneutic. Articles address performance and the performative from a wide range of perspectives and methodologies, and they investigate all sites of performance from the classical stage to popular culture to the practices of everyday life. TPQ also features a 'Performance in Review' section that provides a scholarly forum to document performances and to situate and critique them within enduring and emergent issues in performance studies praxis. Projects about artists working outside the academy are featured, however, work is also encouraged from or about academic scholar-artists who use performance as a method of inquiry. In addition to standard monographs, TPQ also publishes papers that examine and analyze performance in other scholarly modes, including experimental critical essays, photo essays, interviews, and performance texts/scripts. The Comics Grid: Journal of Comics Scholarship is an open access, open peer review academic journal dedicated to comics scholarship. The journal aims to make original contributions to the field of comics studies and to advance the appreciation of graphic narrative.
We aim to promote comics scholarship within academia and the general public with contributions that present specialised knowledge in an accessible language. As a publishing platform we encourage digital research, public engagement and collaboration.
The German Quarterly serves as a forum for all sorts of scholarly debates - topical, ideological, methodological, theoretical, of both the established and the experimental variety, as well as debates on recent developments in the profession. We particularly encourage essays employing new theoretical or methodological approaches, essays on recent developments in the field, and essays on subjects that have recently been underrepresented in The German Quarterly, such as studies on pre-modern subjects. The German Quarterly is an equal opportunity publication in terms of approaches, topics, epochs and styles in a landscape in which many of the best journals are now specialized. We welcome submissions on all topics in German literature, culture and film from the Middle Ages to the present, as well as comparative and interdisciplinary articles that are relevant to the field of German. Established in 1942 by the American Society for Aesthetics, The Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism publishes current research articles, symposia, special issues, and timely book reviews in aesthetics and the arts. The term aesthetics, in this connection, is understood to include all studies of the arts and related types of experience from a philosophic, scientific, or other theoretical standpoint. The arts are taken to include not only the traditional forms such as music, literature, landscape architecture, dance, painting, architecture, sculpture, and other visual arts, but also more recent additions such as photography, film, earthworks, performance and conceptual art, the crafts and decorative arts, contemporary digital innovations, and other cultural practices, including work and activities in the field of popular culture. The Journal takes a theoretical and interdisciplinary approach to the arts and aesthetic matters. Its authors include artists, writers, and academics in the fields of philosophy, English literature, comparative literature, art, music, theater and drama, art history, psychology, law, and related disciplines. The Journal and the American Society for Aesthetics also sponsor the biannual John Fisher Memorial Prize in Aesthetics in honor of John Fisher, editor of the Journal from 1973-1988. The Journal of Architecture is jointly published by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Routledge, an imprint of Taylor & Francis. The Journal of Modern Craft is the first peer-reviewed academic journal to provide an interdisciplinary and international forum in its subject area. It addresses all forms of making that self-consciously set themselves apart from mass production—whether in the making of designed objects, artworks, buildings, or other artefacts. The journal covers craft in all its historical and contemporary manifestations. It starts in the mid-nineteenth-century, when handwork was first consciously framed in opposition to industrialization, through to the present time, when ideas once confined to the ‘applied arts’ have come to seem vital across a huge range of cultural activities. Special emphasis is placed on studio practice, and on the transformations of indigenous forms of craft activity throughout the world. The journal also reviews and analyses the relevance of craft within new media, folk art, architecture, design, contemporary art, and other fields.The Journal of Modern Craft is the main scholarly voice on the subject of craft, conceived both as an idea and as a field of practice in its own right.
