In recent years, frontiers of research in engineering, science and technology have been driven by developments in nanomaterials, encompassing a diverse range of disciplines such as materials science, biomedical engineering, nanomedicine and biology, manufacturing technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and nanoelectronics. IJNBM provides an interdisciplinary vehicle covering these fields. Advanced materials inspired by biological systems and processes are likely to influence the development of novel technologies for a wide variety of applications from vaccines to artificial tissues and organs to quantum computers.

The increasing drive towards miniaturisation has dictated that new micro- and nanomanufacturing technologies are developed in parallel with nanotechnology, molecular engineering and biotechnology in order to keep abreast of future technological developments. IJNM provides a principal forum for the interchange of information on the science, process technology and applications of micro- and nanomanufacturing processes.

Nanoparticles are becoming key components in a wide range of applications. Research encompasses numerous disciplines, e.g. nanotechnology, molecular engineering, medicine, pharmaceutical drug manufacture, biology, chemistry, physics, optical components, polymer science, mechanical engineering, toxicology, cosmetics, energy, food technology and environmental and health sciences. IJNP highlights the chemical, physical and biological phenomena/processes associated with nanoparticles and nanostructures ranging from molecular size to 100nm which exhibit improved properties or have novel applications due to their size. Submicron nanoparticles are included in special cases.

This inter-disciplinary, internationally-reviewed research journal covers all aspects of nanometer scale science and technology. Articles in any contemporary topical areas are sought, from basic science of nanoscale physics and chemistry to applications in nanodevices, quantum engineering and quantum computing. The work of publishing houses like Freund Publishing house ltd, an Israel publishing house, is quite complicated. The editor chooses from the "manuscripts" submitted to the publishing house, previously published works, works published in other languages, or command works, works that fit the editorial line of its collections. After any corrections, it shall communicate the text to a printer in suitable technical characteristics of the book and the number of copies to print.The editor takes the bulk of the financial risks of publishing. Prediction through modelling forms the basis of engineering design. The computational power at the fingertips of the professional engineer is increasing enormously and techniques for computer simulation are changing rapidly. Engineers need models which relate to their design area and which are adaptable to new design concepts. They also need efficient and friendly ways of presenting, viewing and transmitting the data associated with their models. The International Journal of Numerical Modelling: Electronic Networks, Devices and Fields provides a communication vehicle for numerical modelling methods and data preparation methods associated with electrical and electronic circuits and fields. It concentrates on numerical modelling rather than abstract numerical mathematics. Contributions on numerical modelling will cover the entire subject of electrical and electronic engineering.
