The Journal of The Franklin Institute has an established reputation for publishing high-quality papers in the field of engineering and applied mathematics. Its current focus is on communications, signal processing, control systems, and their applications. All submitted papers are peer-reviewed. The Journal will publish original research papers and research review papers of substance. Papers and special focus issues are judged upon possible lasting value, which has been and continues to be the strength of the Journal of The Franklin Institute.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Journal of Thermal Science publishes high-quality articles on experimental, numerical and theoretical investigations which give insight into the major areas of thermal and fluid sciences. It publishes contributions in the fields of fluid mechanics, aerothermodynamics of internal flow, heat and mass transfer, multiphase flow, turbulence modeling, combustion, engineering thermodynamics, thermophysical properties of matter, measurement and visualization techniques. The journal also includes technical papers concerning the application of fundamental knowledge to industrial processes and equipment, such as energy conversion and conservation, turbomachinery, heat transfer equipment, furnaces and boilers. Journal of Thermal Science incorporates review articles, technical notes, short communications and discussions on previously published papers. Technical notes provide an opportunity to rapidly disseminate research results that are of timely interest to the thermal and fluid sciences community.
This Journal is devoted to the advancement of the science and technology of thermophysics and heat transfer through the dissemination of original research papers disclosing new technical knowledge and exploratory developments and applications based on new knowledge. The Journal publishes qualified papers that deal with the properties and mechanisms involved in thermal energy transfer and storage in gases, liquids, and solids or combinations thereof. These studies include conductive, convective, and radiative modes alone or in combination and the effects of the environment.
Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine publishes rapidly and rigorously peer-reviewed research papers, reviews, clinical case reports, perspectives, and short communications on topics relevant to the development of therapeutic approaches which combine stem or progenitor cells, biomaterials and scaffolds, growth factors and other bioactive agents, and their respective constructs. All papers should deal with research that has a direct or potential impact on the development of novel clinical approaches for the regeneration or repair of tissues and organs. The journal is multidisciplinary, covering the combination of the principles of life sciences and engineering in efforts to advance medicine and clinical strategies. The journal focuses on the use of cells, materials, and biochemical/mechanical factors in the development of biological functional substitutes that restore, maintain, or improve tissue or organ function. The journal publishes research on any tissue or organ and covers all key aspects of the field, including the development of new biomaterials and processing of scaffolds; the use of different types of cells (mainly stem and progenitor cells) and their culture in specific bioreactors; studies in relevant animal models; and clinical trials in human patients performed under strict regulatory and ethical frameworks. Manuscripts describing the use of advanced methods for the characterization of engineered tissues are also of special interest to the journal readership.
The scope of Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering (English Edition) includes:
• Road engineering, railway engineering, bridge and tunnel engineering
• Automotive engineering, design, manufacture, and operation of vehicles
• Air transportation, maritime transportation, road transportation, railway transportation
• Analysis, operation, optimization, and planning of transportation systems and network
• Travel behavior, information technology, traffic control, traffic flow theory
• Economics, safety, and management of transportation
• Multimodal transportation and logistics research

The journal aims to cover transport and health issues in all countries. Three particular aims of the journal are: to promote dialogue between the two research communities it serves; to improve the quality of data and the appropriate use of data; and to encourage transfer of research into practice.
Transport and Health Study Group (THSG)
JTH is formally affiliated with the Transport and Health Study Group (THSG). However, JTH is a scientific journal, and manuscripts submitted to JTH will therefore be considered on two factors - their scientific quality and the relevance of their content - and not on whether the study's findings conflict with current THSG policy. As the THSG prides itself on promoting evidence-based policies, there will be occasions when such policy needs to be reviewed because of emerging evidence.
One of the most respected archival journals in the field of tribology, the Journal of Tribology publishes over 100 outstanding technical articles of permanent interest to the tribology community annually, and attracts articles by tribologists from around the world. The journal features a mix of experimental, numerical, and theoretical articles dealing with all aspects of the field, including, but not limited to: friction and wear, fluid film lubrication, elastohydrodynamic lubrication, surface properties and characterization, contact mechanics, magnetic recordings, tribological systems, seals, bearing design and technology, gears, metalworking, lubricants, and artificial joints. In addition to being of interest to engineers and other scientists doing research in the field, the information published in the journal is also of great importance to engineers who design or use mechanical components such as bearings, gears, seals, magnetic recording heads and disks, or prosthetic joints, or who are involved with manufacturing processes.
