Journal of Thoracic Oncology, the official Journal of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), is the primary educational and informational publication for topics relevant to detection, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of thoracic malignancies. JTO emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, and includes original research (clinical trials and translational or basic research), reviews, and opinion pieces. Leukemia & Lymphoma is an international journal that publishes full-length papers and reviews on clinical and therapeutic practice, epidemiological studies and outcomes analysis, laboratory diagnosis, pathology, cytology, ultrastructure, cytogenetics and cellular and molecular immunology of hematologic malignancies; the journal aims at a strong clinical-pathologic correlation. Letters and correspondence to the editors are also accepted on all topics, which are novel and provide new and interesting data for clinicians and postgraduate teaching. In addition, an update is provided on the basic issues and advances in molecular genetics as applied to this field. Leukemia Research Reports is a new open access, international journal which will deliver timely information online to all health care professionals involved in basic and/or applied clinical research in leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma and other hematologic malignancies. Launched in late 2012, this is an online-only journal, specializing in rapid publication of peer-reviewed clinical research and short form papers, including brief communications, letters to the Editors, images,debate articles and most importantly case reports.The Editors encourage the submission of articles relevant to normal and leukemic hemopoiesis, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology and molecular biology as well as epidemiologic and clinical studies. Leukemia Research Reports' coverage encompasses the application of oncogenes, genomics (gene expression profiles, microRNAs), proteomics growth factors, cell markers, cell cycle and differentiation agents, novel therapeutics and clinical trials in both the acute and chronic leukemias as well as the myelodysplastic syndromes. Liver cancer has a very high prevalence among cancers in general and is one of the most common causes of death worldwide. Based on these facts, the journal Liver Cancer serves the growing need to better understand the causes, mechanisms, and therapy of the malignancy. It provides the international community of researchers and clinicians with a platform for their research results, focusing on molecular carcinogenesis, prevention, surveillance, diagnosis, and treatment, including molecular targeted therapy, of the disease. Liver Cancer publishes clinical and translational research related to the field of liver cancer in both humans and experimental models in the form of original and review articles.

Original research articles, early reports, review articles, commentaries and editorials covering the prevention, epidemiology and etiology, basic biology, pathology, clinical assessment, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, combined treatment modalities, other treatment modalities and outcomes of lung cancer are all welcome. Letters to the journals are also welcomed although authors should be aware that the majority will be published online only. Early reports should briefly describe the initial results of a research topic and will be expedited through peer-review.

Manuscripts describing studies on cell lines will only be considered if the data compares at least two types of distinct cell lines and the results have general implications on the understanding of the biology of chest tumours. Authors of studies on cell lines must also agree to make freely available to other researchers any of the cells, clones of cells, or DNA or antibodies, etc, that were used in the research reported and that are not available from commercial suppliers.
