Vision:The AORN Journal will be an indispensable resource recognized for scholarly, evidence-based, peer-reviewed articles that convey standards of excellence and innovations in the delivery of perioperative nursing.Aims and Scope:The AORN Journal provides professional perioperative registered nurses with evidence-based practice information needed to help meet the physiological, behavioral, safety, and health system needs of a diverse patient population.Journal content supports the clinical, research/quality improvement, education, and management strategies related to the nurses role in caring for patients before, during, or after operative and other invasive and interventional procedures in ambulatory and inpatient settings.

Published quarterly in print and continuously online, BMJ Supportive & Palliative Care aims to connect many disciplines and specialties throughout the world by providing high quality, clinically relevant research, reviews, comment, information and news of international importance. We hold an inclusive view of supportive and palliative care research and we are able to call on expertise to critique the whole range of methodologies within the subject, including those working in transitional research, clinical trials, epidemiology, behavioural sciences, ethics and health service research. Articles with relevance to clinical practice and clinical service development will be considered for publication. In an international context, many different categories of clinician and healthcare workers do clinical work associated with palliative medicine, specialist or generalist palliative care, supportive care, psychosocial-oncology and end of life care. We wish to engage many specialties, not only those traditionally associated with supportive and palliative care. We hope to extend the readership to doctors, nurses, other healthcare workers and researchers in medical and surgical specialties, including but not limited to cardiology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, paediatrics, primary care, psychiatry, psychology, renal medicine, respiratory medicine. The content of the four print editions a year will feature a selection of the on-line journal, and will include original research of an international standard, focused editorial comment as well as important systematic reviews. A news section, updated regularly, with rapid publication of correspondence on newsworthy topics will appear online, alongside columns, short reports and opinion pieces. Critiques of current practice and examination of new guidelines will also be a regular feature of the journal as well as a digest of important publications on supportive and palliative care issues from other journals.

The European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing is the International Journal of the European Society of Cardiology dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in the field of cardiovascular nursing: promoting evidence-based clinical practice. The journal publishes original articles, short report reviews and editorials in order to improve the quality of nursing care for patients with cardiovascular disease. Original contributions on the broad field of cardiovascular nursing are welcome, including chronic and acute care, paediatric cardiology, grown up congenital heart disease, cardiac rehabilitation, primary and secondary prevention, heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, interventional cardiology, cardiac care, preventive cardiology, and vascular nursing.Scientific contributions can be related to all aspects of care: education, research, patient care or organisational aspects. The Journal of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed educational resource for wound care professionals espousing the principles of evidence-based medicine.

The objective of this new online journal is to serve as a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed source of information related to the administrative, economic, operational, safety, and quality aspects of the ambulatory and in-patient operating room and interventional procedural processes. The journal will provide high-quality information and research findings on operational and system-based approaches to ensure safe, coordinated, and high-value periprocedural care. With the current focus on value in health care it is essential that there is a venue for researchers to publish articles on quality improvement process initiatives, process flow modeling, information management, efficient design, cost improvement, use of novel technologies, and management.

This journal's audience includes all groups who participate in the planning, execution, and monitoring of the periprocedural process such as medical specialists (surgeons, anesthesiologists, hospitalists), nurses, administrators, pharmacists, systems and process engineers, and other health care providers.

The official journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, Plastic Surgical Nursing is the professional, peer-reviewed journal for nurses in plastic and reconstructive surgical nursing practice.
