AStA - Advances in Statistical Analysis, a journal of the German Statistical Society, is published quarterly and presents original contributions on statistical methods and applications and review articles.AStA - Advances in Statistical Analysis has three designated sections: Statistical Applications:The Statistical Application section provides a forum for innovative use of statistical modeling and analysis techniques in a wide range of application areas. Traditionally, economic and social science are at home at AStA, but submissions with other fields of application such as technology, engineering or ecology are also strongly encouraged. Statistical Methodology:The Statistical Methodology section publishes original articles on statistical theory and methodological developments. The contributions should provide novel material. AFFILIA: Journal of Women and Social Work (AFF), published quarterly, is the only peer-reviewed, scholarly social work journal to address the concerns of social workers and their clients from a feminist point of view, offering a unique mix of research reports, new theory and creative approaches to the challenges confronting women.

The American Sociologist publishes papers, comments, and other writings on topics of professional and disciplinary concern to sociologists. The editors seem papers that examine the intellectual, practical, and ethical issues that affect the work, careers, and perspectives of sociologists. In addition, the editors especially encourage research and reporting on the ways in which sociological knowledge and skill relate to issues of broad public concern, past, present, and future. Topics might include: the uses of sociology in academic and nonacademic settings: the training, placement, and career paths of sociologist: structural and ideological dimensions that affect the development of new perspectives in the discipline: the ethics of research, teaching, and practice: the application of sociological knowledge and methods in practical problems, the historical and interdisciplinary roots of sociological knowledge: and the contribution of sociologists to professional and public issues.

Applied Psychological Measurement (APM) publishes empirical research on the application of psychological measurement to substantive problems in all areas of psychology and related disciplines. It offers reports on the development and application of innovative measurement techniques; methodological developments in the solution of measurement problems; comparisons of measurement techniques; investigations of measurement methodologies; validation and reliability methodologies; and critical reviews of measurement methodology.

Armed Forces & Society (AFS), a quarterly publication, publishes articles on military institutions, civil-military relations, arms control and peacemaking, and conflict management. The journal is international in scope with a focus on historical, comparative, and interdisciplinary discourse. The editors and contributors include political scientists, sociologists, historians, psychologists, scholars, and economists, as well as specialists in military organization and strategy, arms control, and peacekeeping.

Australian Social Work is an international peer-reviewed journal reflecting current thinking and trends in Social Work.
