Neurogenetics presents research that contributes to better understanding of the genetic basis of normal and abnormal function of the nervous system. The journal publishes findings in humans and other organisms that help explain neurological disease mechanisms, and papers from many fields such as biophysics, cell biology, human genetics, neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, neurology, neuropathology, neurosurgery and psychiatry. Neurogenetics includes Review Articles, Original Articles, Short Communications and Letters to the Editors.

Oncology Research and Treatment offers an interdisciplinary forum for cancer research and treatment. Peer-reviewed original and review articles cover a wide range of aspects in medical hematology and oncology, surgical, gynecological, pediatric, and urological oncology, dermatological oncology, diagnostics, radiation oncology, psychological care, pathology, clinical-translational oncology, and oncological rehabilitation. Oncology Research and Treatment is addressed to clinicians and practitioners working and researching in the field of hematology and oncology.
The focus of Oncology Research and Treatment is to report clinical and translational research. Basic research is not in the scope of the journal.

The journal Fizika Elementarnykh Chastits i Atomnogo Yadr of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR, Dubna) was founded by Academician N.N. Bogolyubov in August 1969. The Editors-in-chief of the journal were Academician N.N. Bogolyubov (1970–1992) and Academician A.M. Baldin (1992–2001). Its English translation, Physics of Particles and Nuclei, appears simultaneously with the original Russian-language edition. Published by leading physicists from the JINR member states, as well as by scientists from other countries, review articles in this journal examine problems of elementary particle physics, nuclear physics, condensed matter physics, experimental data processing, accelerators and related instrumentation ecology and radiology.

A Community-Based Journal for Protein ScientistsIn January 2004, the journal Protein Engineering was relaunched as Protein Engineering, Design and Selection, or PEDS. PEDS publishes research papers and review articles relevant to the engineering, design and selection of proteins for use in biotechnology and therapy, and for understanding fundamental properties of activity, stability, folding, misfolding and disease. The journal has new editors, a new editorial structure, and a new reviewing system to make it a community journal run by protein scientists for their own discipline.

The content of this journal is exclusively case reports that feature diagnostic imaging. Categories in which case reports can be placed include the musculoskeletal system, spine, central nervous system, head and neck, cardiovascular, chest, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, multisystem, pediatric, emergency, women's imaging, oncologic, normal variants, medical devices, foreign bodies, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, ultrasonography, imaging artifacts, forensic, anthropological, and medical-legal. Articles must be well-documented and include a review of the appropriate literature.

The journal Research, was launched in 2018 as the first journal in the Science Partner Journal (SPJ) program. The Vietnam Journal of Chemistry is an official research journal of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Hanoi. Conservation Biology welcomes submissions that address the science and practice of conserving Earth's biological diversity. Nevertheless, manuscripts with relevance to conservation that transcends the particular ecosystem, species, or situation described will be prioritized for publication. Conservation Biology accepts manuscripts in the following intended categories. The word limit includes all text from the Abstract through the Literature Cited; it does not include legends for tables and figures or the body of tables. Manuscripts that substantially exceed the following word counts will be returned. 1. Contributed Papers (3000-6000 words). Papers that report on original theoretical, empirical, or synthetic research in the natural or social sciences. 2. Research Notes (< 3000 words). Similar to Contributed Papers, but results and inferences may be more focused or preliminary. 3. Reviews (< 7500 words). Comprehensive reviews of a given topic. 4. Essays (< 6000 words). Comparatively speculative yet well-argued and well-documented papers that may offer personal perspectives. 5. Conservation Practice and Policy (< 5000 words). Papers that describe applications of conservation science to specific goals for management, policy, or education. Papers may address either successful applications or surprising outcomes that provided opportunities for learning. 6. Comments (< 2000 words). Papers that respond to material previously published in Conservation Biology. 7. Diversity (< 2000 words). Short opinion pieces on concepts, methods, or applications. 8. Letters (< 1000 words). Communications regarding topics of immediate interest to readers, including observations on controversial subjects or previously published papers. 9. Book Reviews are by invitation only. All books for possible review should be sent directly to Kent Redford (kredford@wcs.org).
