Environmental Impact Assessment Review is a refereed, interdisciplinary journal serving a global audience of practitioners, policy-makers and academics. This audience assesses the environmental impact of policy, projects, processes and products and makes decisions based upon these assessments.Innovative EIA theory and practice - that is the focus of this journal. Papers should present innovation, they should be topical and of course coherent. A focus on theory and practice means we are focused on concepts, methods, techniques, approaches and systems.We are not a journal for case studies as such. Case studies are welcome if they explicitly demonstrate innovative theory or practice, but only in that context. You may have done the world's most thorough impact assessment of a power plant, dam, refinery, whatever, but if there was no innovation in the theory or practice of EIA involved, please submit your paper somewhere else.The topical focus of EIA Review is meant to mirror the interests of its audience. Submissions to the journal are judged on these criteria by the editor, in consultation with a policy committee, an advisory board and other independent experts. All articles go through a blind peer-review prior to acceptance. Education Economics is a peer-reviewed journal serving as a forum for debate in all areas of the economics and management of education. Particular emphasis is given to the 'quantitative' aspects of educational management which involve numerate disciplines such as economics and operational research. The Journal of Cross-Cultural Gerontology is an international and interdisciplinary journal providing a forum for scholarly discussion of the aging process and the problems of the aged throughout the world. The journal emphasizes discussions of research findings, theoretical issues and applied approaches that deal with non-Western populations, as well as articles that provide a comparative orientation to the study of the aging process in its social, economic, historical and biological perspectives.

The core of the journal comprises a broad range of articles dealing with non-Western societies, written from the perspectives of history, anthropology, sociology, political science, psychology, population studies, health/biology, etc. A second category of papers includes articles from Western societies comparing sub-cultural groupings or ethnic minorities such as Vietnamese, Turks, etc. Comparative studies of topics related to aging comprise the third group of articles. Such comparative analyses have been on Western and non-Western societies as well as on comparisons of Western societies, such as socialist vs. capitalist systems, for instance, or societies with different social service delivery systems. With societies becoming ever more multicultural and with many societies experiencing a `graying' of their population on a hitherto unprecedented scale, the Journal of Cross-Cultural Gerontology stands at the forefront of one of the most pressing issues of our times.

High Ability Studies provides a forum for scholars in a variety of disciplines associated with the development of human abilities to their highest level. It is a medium for the promotion of high ability, whether through the communication of scientific research, theory, or the exchange of practical experience and ideas. The contents of this journal are unique in reflecting concerns and recent developments in this area from childhood and across the whole life span in a variety of contexts. Far from being restricted to the traditional focus on high-level cognitive development, it also presents investigations into all other areas of human endeavour, including sport, technology, the arts, business, management and social relations. The journal is concerned with aspects of development, personality, cognition, social behaviour and cross-cultural issues in relation to high ability. The International Multilingual Research Journal (IMRJ) invites scholarly contributions with strong interdisciplinary perspectives to understand and promote bi/multilingualism, bi/multi-literacy, and linguistic democracy. The journal's focus is on these topics as related to languages other than English as well as dialectal variations of English. It has three thematic emphases: The intersection of language and culture, the dialectics of the local and global, and comparative models within and across contexts. Critical Studies on Security

Security is one of the defining features of our, or any, time. Collectively we seek security, value security, desire security, while at the same time often being troubled by the actions that are taken in the name of our security.  Critical Studies on Security is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the study of ‘security’ in and through social critique. The journal aims to publish theoretically informed scholarship, which engages with the practice and politics of security. We welcome articles from or across the range of disciplines, and from any of the critical social theoretical positions.

Critical Studies on Security publishes scholarship that has undergone rigorous peer review, including an initial screening by the editors, and recommendation by at least two anonymous reviewers.

Founded in 1890, Ethics publishes scholarly work in moral, political, and legal philosophy from a variety of intellectual perspectives, including social and political theory, law, and economics. In addition to major articles, Ethics also publishes review essays, discussion articles, and book reviews. The Editors welcome work that draws on more than one disciplinary approach, as well as contributions from outside the United States. Essays should avoid unnecessary technicality and strive to be accessible to the widest possible audience without sacrificing clarity and rigor. Ethics publishes both theory and the application of theory to contemporary moral issues. Historical essays are welcome, provided they have significant implications for contemporary theory.
