Peer Review Integrity
All manuscripts relevant to the aims and scope of MER are reviewed anonymously. All manuscripts undergo rigorous double-blind peer review by at least two, usually three, anonymous reviewers. Manuscripts submitted to MER are judged on the following criteria: use of an explicit theoretical or conceptual framework, acknowledgement of relevant literature, originality in analysis, appropriateness of methodological approach, contribution to the advancement of knowledge, use of a multicultural perspective, and clarity of expression. Because of the international scope of MER, authors are encouraged to focus on the underlying aspects of their research that make the work relevant for the larger community of educators and policymakers. The editors rely heavily on reviewers' judgments. Strong efforts are made to ensure prompt decisions about acceptance. To ensure anonymity, authors' names, institutional affiliations, and other identifying information should be placed on a separate title page only.

Biological Psychology publishes original scientific papers on neural, endocrine, immune, and other physiological aspects of psychological states and processes. Such aspects include assessments by biochemistry, electrophysiology, and neuroimaging during psychological experiments as well as biologically induced changes in psychological function. Psychological investigations based on biological theories are also of interest. All aspects of psychological functioning, including psychopathology, are germane.

The Journal is focused on work with human individuals, but may consider work with animals, if conceptually related to issues in human biological psychology. The Journal welcomes work that spans disciplines and methods and recruits an editorial team that is especially suited for handling such manuscripts. Empirical reports are the core of the Journal, but methodological and theoretical reports relevant to biological psychology are encouraged (see list of article types for more information). Finally, the Journal regularly publishes special issues on selected topics within its scope.

The European Review of History - Revue Européenne d’Histoire is an international journal covering European history of all centuries and subdisciplines. Neuropsychologia is an international interdisciplinary journal devoted to experimental and theoretical contributions that advance understanding of human cognition and behavior from a neuroscience perspective. The journal will consider for publication studies that link brain function with cognitive processes, including attention and awareness, action and motor control, executive functions and cognitive control, memory, language, and emotion and social cognition.Neuropsychologia has a long history of publishing lesion-deficit studies, and these remain highly appropriate for the journal. Submission of papers describing the use of other methodologies – most notably functional and structural neuroimaging, cognitive electrophysiology, and transcranial magnetic stimulation - is strongly encouraged, however. Animal studies are also welcome, provided they have a direct and explicitly specified impact on understanding human cognition and behavior. Studies of clinical populations that are primarily descriptive or intended to elucidate a clinical disorder, or that evaluate a therapeutic intervention, are not appropriate for the journal. The principal goal of publishing the ICJ is to foster greater understanding in the field of comparative cross-border jurisprudence.

To accomplish its mission, the ICJ:
(i) places itself at the forefront of emerging jurisprudential trends by virtue of strategic guidance of the multinational Board of Advisors, consisting of renowned legal professionals, judges, and legal practitioners;
(ii) provides a forum for legal scholars and legal practitioners for discourse on legal practice and theory;
(iii) promotes multicultural and interdisciplinary research;
