The Journal of Child & Adolescent Mental Health publishes papers that contribute to improving the mental health of children and adolescents, especially those in Africa. Papers from all disciplines are welcome. It covers subjects such as epidemiology, mental health prevention and promotion, psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, policy and risk behaviour.The journal contains review articles, original research (including brief reports), clinical papers in a 8216;Clinical perspectives' section and book reviews. The Journal is published in association with the South African Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (SAACAPAP). The SAACAPAP is the professional body for child and adolescent mental health practitioners in South Africa. The International Journal of Engineering Science is not limited to a specific aspect of science and engineering but is instead devoted to a wide range of subfields in the engineering sciences. While it encourages a broad spectrum of contribution in the engineering sciences, its core interest lies in issues concerning material modeling and response. Articles of interdisciplinary nature are particularly welcome.The primary goal of the new editors is to maintain high quality of publications. There will be a commitment to expediting the time taken for the publication of the papers. The articles that are sent for reviews will have names of the authors deleted with a view towards enhancing the objectivity and fairness of the review process.Articles that are devoted to the purely mathematical aspects without a discussion of the physical implications of the results or the consideration of specific examples are discouraged. Articles concerning material science should not be limited merely to a description and recording of observations but should contain theoretical or quantitative discussion of the results.From time to time, the Journal will publish review articles and bring out special issues on a specific sub-field of engineering science. Authors are encouraged to contact the Editors if they would like to submit a review article or bring out a special issue of the Journal.The Editors reserve the right to reject papers without sending them out for review.

European Journal of Social Theory (EJST), edited by Gerard Delanty, is a peer reviewed quarterly journal exploring major social transformations and questions concerning European societies. Engaged with contemporary debates in social theory the journal explores theoretical contexts of issues such as the nation state, democracy, citizenship, risk; identity, social divisions, violence, gender and knowledge. SEJ is the first journal to focus specifically on the social enterprise aspect of entrepreneurial activity. It encourages interdisciplinary and critical studies of social enterprise to deepen our understanding of social enterprise and social entrepreneurship.

Founded in 1968, Histoire sociale - Social History has become a leading publication in socio-historical research. Hs-SH publishes articles, research notes, book reviews, and other material that contribute to social history in Canada and elsewhere. The journal is interested in all types of social phenomena - cultural, political, economic, or demographic - without methodological, temporal or geographic restrictions. The journal gives priority to studies that explicitly integrate different subfields of social history and are innovative in sources, method or interpretation.

The journal Social Sciences and Missions / Sciences sociales et mission provides a forum for exploration of the social and political influence of Christian missions worldwide. Christian missions represent a unique site of observation for the study of modern societies, in the "north" as well as in the "south". This is the reason why missions constitute the "prime material" of the journal Social Sciences & Missions.

Research in International Business and Finance (RIBAF) aims to publish empirical and applied research on issues relating to International Business and International Finance. The editors encourage the submission of high quality, insightful, well-written papers that explore current and new issues in International Business, International Finance, and the common grounds between these discipline areas.Papers that use new and or novel empirical methodologies to examine topical issues using extensive international data sets are particularly welcome.Country-level replication studies of key themes in International Business, International Finance, and in Finance are also welcome. In order to qualify as a replication study, the submitted paper must clearly state what is being replicated, why it is important to replicate it, why the particular replication is of interest to international business and finance scholars, and how the replication analysis contributes to the process of validating, negating, clarifying, or refining existing theory and/or evidence.For all submissions, high quality, well-written papers are essential. Dynamics of Asymmetric Conflict (DAC) is a pioneering interdisciplinary journal that publishes original papers and reviews that contribute to understanding and ameliorating conflicts between states and non-state challengers. These conflicts too often lead to violence, sometimes to the extremes of terrorism or genocide. Understanding the trajectory to violence requires examination of conflicts that do not escalate to violence as well as those that do. This means studying individuals, groups, and movements who challenge the state without violence, as well as those who turn to radicalism and terrorism. Similarly, it is necessary to study state agents, agencies, and policy makers who respond to challenge without violence, as well as those who turn to torture, ethnic cleansing and genocide.It follows from this multi-level and dynamic perspective that every social science is welcome in the journal. Scholars from anthropology, communications, criminology, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology and sociology are invited to join in a new subculture that includes policy makers, analysts, and officers of police, military and intelligence services, as well as officers of non-governmental organizations and foundations interested in peace and conflict. DAC aims to support an academic-practitioner community that will learn how to prevent and ameliorate violence between states and non-state challengers.The form of contributions is open, and may include interview reports, case histories, survey research, experiments, text analyses, formal modelling, empirical or theoretical reviews, notes identifying new directions of research needed or in progress, and media reviews.Contributions may be between 1,000-5,000 words; acceptance will be based on value per page such that longer contributions must make larger contributions.Special IssuesThe editors will occasionally invite related papers on a special topic, with the aim of publishing these papers as a special issue of the journal. Wherever modern European history is taught, the Russian revolutions of 1905 and 1917 are central to its concerns. These events marked a crucial turning point in the demise of autocracy and the rise of revolutionary socialism that would shape Russia, Europe and the international system for the rest of the twentieth century and beyond. Launched in 1988, and supported by a prestigious Editorial Board, Revolutionary Russia is the only English-language journal to concentrate on the revolutionary period of Russian history, from c.1880-c.1932. As the journal of the Study Group on the Russian Revolution (founded in 1975), it is interdisciplinary and international in approach, publishing original research, documentary sources, book reviews and review articles in the fields of history, politics, economics, sociology, art history and literary and intellectual history from scholars across the world, including Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union.
