Journal Guide

Psihologija is a scholarly peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by the Serbian Psychological Society. The journal was founded in 1967. From 1980 on, all the articles contain abstracts in English and Serbian. Now, Psihologija generally follows the rules of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. Psihologija accepts only original manuscripts written either in Serbian, or in other so called world languages, preferably in English. Papers may belong to any branch of research psychology. Occasionally, Psihologija publishes thematic issues edited by field specialist as guest editors.

The Canadian Journal of Behavioural Science publishes original, empirical contributions in the following areas of psychology: abnormal behavioural clinical community counselling developmental educational environmental gay and lesbian gender health industrial–organizational neuropsychological personality psychometrics sexology social A limited amount of space is also available in the journal for brief reports with theoretical and practical implications. The Brief Reports section can also be used for psychometric reports and to disseminate Canadian norms or forms for standardized tests.

Gifted Child Quarterly (GCQ) publishes original research and new and creative insights about giftedness and talent development in the context of the school, the home, and the wider society. Each issue offers scholarly literature reviews and quantitative or qualitative research studies that explore the characteristics of gifted students, program models, curriculum and other important areas that maximize the development and education of gifted students.

The Journal of Cognition, the official journal of the European Society for Cognitive Psychology, publishes reviews, empirical articles (including registered reports), data reports, stimulus development reports, comments, and methodological notes relevant to all areas of cognitive psychology, including attention, memory, perception, psycholinguistics, and reasoning. We also publish cross-disciplinary research if we judge that it has clear implications for development of cognitive psychological theories. As a signatory of the Center for Open Science's Transparency and Openness Promotion guidelines, we value methodological rigour and transparent scientific practices. The Review of Economics of the Household publishes empirical and theoretical research on the economic behavior and decision-making processes of single and multi-person households. Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration is a scholarly double blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to promoting the study, research and enhancement of public governance, policy, administration and management in and beyond Asia and the Pacific. It welcomes contributions that address theory and practice from country, comparative and thematic perspectives. The contributions can be:

Appraisal and review

Manuscripts submitted to the Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration are subject to initial appraisal by the Editors and, if found suitable for further consideration, to double blind peer review by expert referees.

The Journal of Agrarian Change is the leading journal of agrarian political economy. It promotes investigation of the social relations and dynamics of production, property and power in agrarian formations and their processes of change, both historical and contemporary. It encourages work within a broad interdisciplinary framework, informed by theory, and serves as a forum for serious comparative analysis and scholarly debate. Appearing quarterly since 1936, Science & Society is the longest continuously published Marxist scholarly journal in the world. Its intellectual coverage includes social and political theory, first-order historical research, economics, philosophy, theoretical foundations in the natural sciences, literature, and the arts. In both general issues, and special issues devoted to particular topics, the journal provides serious analysis of the contemporary human condition and visions of social alternatives, and contributes to the continuing critical redevelopment of the Marxist tradition.

Interactional Linguistics aims to advance our understanding of this symbiotic relationship between language and social interaction, contributing to a more encompassing comprehension of what language is, in light of its use within the dynamics of social interaction. This fully peer-reviewed journal publishes original research that demonstrates how close scrutiny of linguistic structures as they occur in social interaction can deepen our appreciation of the functional and formal aspects of language, be it within a single language or cross-linguistically. The journal publishes qualitative and quantitative research and welcomes empirical as well as theoretical arguments.

Journal of Macromarketing (JMK), peer-reviewed and published quarterly, examines important social issues, how they are affected by marketing, and how society influences the conduct of marketing. Though primarily a marketing journal, JMK also encompasses a wide range of social science and business disciplines, including management, economics, sociology, and history. JMK was recently accepted in the Social Science Citation Index. The Impact Factor is pending.

Youth & Society (Y&S), is peer-reviewed, published quarterly, and a multidisciplinary, global journal that focuses on issues related to the second decade of life. Transitional issues from childhood to adolescence and from adolescence to adulthood are also covered, as well as the social, contextual, and political factors that influence healthy and harmful adolescent development.

Starting with papers submitted March 1, 2014, the review process for articles submitted to the Economics of Education Review will no longer be double blind. Authors are requested to include a title page with authors' names and affiliation. Sikh Formations: Religion, Culture and Theory was founded to understand Sikhs, Sikhism, and Sikh Identity within the context of a new and dynamic setting that embraces globalisation, trans-nationalism, and other related processes.
