Pedagogies: An International Journal brings together emergent and breaking work on all aspects of pedagogy: classroom teaching and learning in response to new communities and student bodies, curriculum and responses to new knowledge and changing disciplinarity, blends of traditional and new communications media in classrooms, and most importantly, how we might improve and renew the everyday work that teachers and students do in classrooms. Articles range from discussions, debates, and studies of the most tenacious and perennial educational problems--such as teaching to diversity and the persistent educational marginalization of specific communities--to those focusing on innovative engagements with new technologies and new forms of identity, new repertoires of teacher practice, and preparation of students for emergent forms of civic, workplace, and community life.

The ISI is unmatched in its global reach among statisticians and those interested in the field of statistics. We are also an association that links national statistical societies, with special focus on the societies in developing regions of the world. A majority of the world's central bureaus of statistics are represented within the ISI network. Our influence within the international statistical community is supported by the seven ISI Sections, each of them specialise in a particular area of statistics, and the ISI Committees, which are active interest groups.The ISI is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation and has consultative status by the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations since 1949. Officially, the ISI was established in 1885, though the initial international gatherings of statisticians started earlier - back in 1853. Therefore, we are one of the oldest scientific associations still active throughout the world today.

The International Journal of Health Care Finance and Economics deals with the problems of financing a health care system and financing’s impact on health care performance. It examines why people choose alternative arrangements, either in markets or through the political process. In addition, it demonstrates the link between financing of health care and methods of payment for health care and, in turn, the link between payment and the supply decisions of health care providers.The journal focuses on contributions that integrate theoretical and empirical work, evaluate conflicting findings, or compare experiences among countries and jurisdictions. Papers analyze the behavior and interaction of consumers, providers, insurers, and governments under the influence of health care finance and regulation.

The International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction addresses the cognitive, social, health, and ergonomic aspects of interactive computing. It emphasizes the human element in relation to the systems in which humans function, operate, network, and communicate, including software, hardware, and their various contexts of use. The International Journal of Public Health is an independent journal of the non-profit Swiss School of Public Health. IJPH publishes scientific articles relevant to global public health, from different countries and cultures, and assembles them into issues that raise awareness and understanding of public health problems and solutions. The Middle East Development Journal aims to deepen understanding of development in the Middle East and North Africa and strengthen the social science research community in the region.  The journal emphasizes research falling under the heading of applied economics, although theoretical papers and contributions from related disciplines such as political science and sociology are also considered.  Submissions are actively sought from scholars within the region as well as worldwide.  The ultimate goal of the journal is to contribute to the formulation of policy through the provision of world-class analytical and empirical research.

The journal accepts contributions on a wide range of topics: analyses of particular problems or challenges confronting the region; evaluations of economic and social policies or programs implemented within, or relevant to, the region; explorations of progress within certain segments of the region's population or locations; investigations of country-specific and cross-country issues; assessments of the impact of external factors; and comparisons with other regions. In all cases, submissions receive an initial editor screening and, if of sufficient merit, undergo a double-anonymous peer review by two referees.
