The Asian Journal of Shipping and Logistics (AJSL) is intended to be an outlet for theoretical and empirical research contributions for scholars and specialists in the business of shipping and logistics. A multi-disciplinary and international refereed journal, it brings together papers on the many different topics that concern the fields of shipping and logistics.AJSL invites manuscripts particularly in the areas of management, finance, accounting, insurance, international business, marketing, and history in the fields of shipping, port, transport and logistics of Asia. Application of theory and research in these areas to related fields of inquiry are highly welcomed.The Asian Journal of Shipping and Logistics aims for contributing to the development of human beings by way of fostering and supporting the researches in the fields of shipping and logistics by the Asians, of the Asians, and for the Asians. Aims and Scope:The journal offers a platform for reporting studies of innovations and socio-economic transitions to enhance an environmentally sustainable economy and thus solve structural resource scarcity and environmental problems, notably related to fossil energy use and climate change. This involves attention for technological, organizational, economic, institutional and political innovations as well as economy-wide and sector changes, such as in the areas of energy, transport, agriculture and water management. The journal aims to tackle the most difficult questions, dealing with social, economic, behavioral-psychological and political barriers and opportunities as well as their complex interaction. The journal is multidisciplinary in spirit and methodologically open, and invites contributions from a broad range of disciplines within the social, environmental and innovation sciences.Specific research areas covered include:Theoretical analysis, formal modeling, empirical studies, policy discussion and a critical survey of relevant literature. Practical cases may address transitions in specific sectors, cities or regions. Articles on historical transitions not specifically related to environment and sustainability are welcome if they include a section with unique lessons for sustainability transitions. A non-exhaustive list of keywords and themes is as follows: behavior in line with bounded rationality, development theories, diffusion of innovations, environmental regulation, formal modeling, geography of innovations, historical transitions, increasing returns to scale and path dependence, innovation policy, institutional barriers, international cooperation and coordination, learning-by-doing, learning curves, lock-in, new governance, niche markets, optimal technological diversity, regime analysis, social and political power, strategic niche management, rebound effect, recombinant innovation, sector structure, social learning, transition experiments, technological regimes, transition pathways/mechanisms, vested interests, visions of the future.Potential contributions to EIST:All submissions to Environmental Innovation and Societal Transitions are reviewed using the general criteria of quality, originality, precision, importance of topic and insights, clarity of exposition, and fit to the journal's aims and scope. Several categories of articles are welcome.Analysis: Research articles devoted to theoretical, modeling, experimental, historical and empirical-quantitative analysis of important questions in the field. The journal also accepts qualitative case study research (historical, institutional, geographical, organizational, etc.). Furthermore, it is open to studies opposing different views and explaining fundamental differences in long-standing debates (such as on growth, the role of price instruments and the role of voluntary action). This will enlarge the potential readership of the journal. At the same time, current trends in environmental, innovation and transition policies worldwide can be commented upon. Behavioral Sleep Medicine addresses behavioral dimensions of normal and abnormal sleep mechanisms and the prevention, assessment, and treatment of sleep disorders and associated behavioral and emotional problems. Standards for interventions acceptable to this journal are guided by established principles of behavior change. Intending to serve as the intellectual home for the application of behavioral/cognitive science to the study of normal and disordered sleep, the journal paints a broad stroke across the behavioral sleep medicine landscape. The Australasian Journal of Engineering Education (AJEE) is published under the auspices of the Australasian Association for Engineering Education (AaeE), a technical society of Engineers Australia. The journal is offered as a means of exchanging current work and ideas, predominately from Australian engineering education faculties and as a resource for Continuing Professional Development for our community. The journal is open to members and non-members of Engineers Australia.

It is the policy of the AJEE to publish a variety of contributions on the scholarship and practice of engineering education. Major fields of interest include

• teaching and learning styles, methods, practices and philosophies in engineering
• assessment
• ethics
• inclusivity
• sustainability
• student issues
• online and laboratory learning
• professional practice.

We are also endeavouring to produce special themed sets of papers each year. The editors and editorial panel would be pleased to accept suggestions for these themes.

Publication categories:

AJEE aims to publish reviewed technical papers on all aspects of engineering education. Papers that are submitted follow an autonomous peer review process, with two independent reviewers as required by the DEST review guidelines. The following paper categories are accepted for review:

• Research paper – a paper making an original contribution to engineering education knowledge.
• Special interest paper/project report – report on significant aspects of a major or notable project.
• Review paper for specialists – an overview of a relevant area intended for specialists in the field covered.
• Review paper for non-specialists – an overview of a relevant area suitable for a reader with a relevant engineering education background.

The following submission categories are accepted on the editor's discretion:

• Tutorial paper – a paper which explains an important subject or clarifies the approach to an area of design or investigation.
• Technical note – a technical note or a letter to the editor, which is not sufficiently developed or extensive in scope to constitute a full paper.
• The expected length of acceptable contributions will vary considerably, but 5000 to 6000 words or equivalent for papers would be the norm. Technical notes should not exceed 1500 words.

The International Review of Intellectual Property and Competition Law (IIC), tracks worldwide developments in intellectual property and competition law, presenting the finest academic research in these fields from a European legal perspective.  Our scholarly emphasis concentrates on disseminating and expanding upon the European approach to law. Our goal is to set ourselves apart from other (esp. several US) publications. To this end we focus on two specific aims:(1)   The most significant legal developments from around the world (including, in particular, Asia), are taken up and considered within the European context. Professional Development in Education is a fully refereed international journal that publishes original contributions on the subject of continuing professional development in its widest sense: initial preparation as it affects induction; mentoring and coaching; professional learning; management and leadership of continuing professional development; the analysis of local, regional and national policies relating to CPD; and the work of Higher Education, advisory services and training and development organisations in supporting and promoting CPD. Contributions comprise scholarly discussion of new issues, reports of research in particular areas, reports of developments and contributions to debate on continuing professional development. Although the main focus of articles in the Journal is likely to be teacher education, we welcome contributions which discuss the policy and practice of CPD in other professions where the focus of the article is professional learning.
