Mammal Review covers all aspects of mammalian biology and ecology. We particularly welcome hypothesis-driven analytical and systematic reviews of current theoretical and applied research on mammals, meta-analyses, practical assessments of techniques for studying mammals and large-scale considerations of the status, conservation and management of mammals. As well as reviews, comments, in which authors respond to papers in Mammal Review, and short communications, in which original research or important new methods are described, are published. Authors may consult the Editor-in-Chief about potential contributions or submit unsolicited papers. The journal is the official scientific periodical of the Mammal Society.

Victorian Periodicals Review has developed a large and far-reaching audience. VPR has evolved into a review with an annual index, member questionnaires, and one of a projected series of guides to major research libraries and their holdings, lists of forthcoming articles, obituaries of members who played a substantial role, and informative articles on a wide range of topics from a variety of disciplines. VPR is the only refereed journal that concentrates on the editorial and publishing history of Victorian periodicals. Its emphasis is on the importance of periodicals for an understanding of the history and culture of Victorian Britain, Ireland, and the Empire. Special issues have been devoted to Dickens, Macmillan s Magazine, Art, Theory, American Periodicals, Women Critics and Editors, and the Athenaeum. Published quarterly.

Youth Theatre Journal is a refereed journal which draws its contributions from a wide community of researchers, philosophers, educators, and performance theorists. Youth Theatre Journal welcomes 5,000-7,000 word articles which report on and discuss research and methodological issues from the point of view of philosophy, history, educational theory, sociology, critical theory, and comparative studies. The journal focuses of the dissemination of ideas relating to practical and theoretical developments in the field of theatre and performance by, with, and for children and youth and drama/theatre education.Peer Review Policy: All review papers in this journal have undergone editorial screening and double-blind peer review.

The Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies publishes articles on Latin American culture and on theoretical and historical approaches to cultural production in Latin America, including Caribbean, Latino/a and other diasporic, trans-regional formations. Multidisciplinary work defining and proposing new areas of research and debate is especially welcome. We encourage contributions on the full range of cultural objects, practices, and expressions (including literature, film, visual arts, music), as well as the informal structures of meaning and communication at societal and sub-cultural levels. We welcome work that engages disciplines such as film and media studies, literary criticism, anthropology, gender and queer studies, communication, history and memory studies, and other areas of analysis. We are interested in work which investigates multiple modernities and the effects on societies and social practice of modernization and globalization, as well as articles that reflect on the plural meanings of culture and cultural field, and the place of cultural theory. Engagements with instances of hybridity and transculturation, including the limitations of their conceptual reach, are also welcome; as are articles proposing original directions for their analysis through alternative ethnographies and epistemologies. Work that explores new methods and new areas of investigation, including the critical renewal of cultural studies itself as a transversal disciplinary and political project, is particularly encouraged. We invite articles on all relevant periods, from colonial times to the present. There is a review section which carries authoritative review articles on the state of the art in given fields. Other formats such as position papers, interviews, visual artistic production, chronicles and debates may also be considered for publication. The Journal of Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics is an international journal concerned with the inter-disciplinary science of the Sun-Earth connection, defined very broadly. The journal referees and publishes original research papers, using rigorous standards of review, and focusing on the following:

• The results of experiments and their interpretations, and results of theoretical or modelling studies;
• Papers dealing with remote sensing carried out from the ground or space and with in situ studies made from rockets or from satellites orbiting the Earth;

and,

• Plans for future research, often carried out within programs of international scope.

The Journal also encourages papers involving:

• Large scale collaborations, especially those with an international perspective;
• Rapid communications;
• Papers dealing with novel techniques or methodologies;
• Commissioned review papers on topical subjects and tutorial reviews;

and,

• Special issues arising from chosen scientific symposia or workshops.

The journal covers the physical processes operating in the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, ionosphere, magnetosphere, the Sun, interplanetary medium, and heliosphere. Phenomena occurring in other "spheres", solar influences on climate, and supporting laboratory measurements are also considered. The journal deals especially with the coupling between the different regions.

Solar flares, coronal mass ejections, and other energetic events on the Sun create interesting and important perturbations in the near-Earth space environment. The physics of this subject, now termed "space weather", is central to the Journal of Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics and the journal welcomes papers that lead in the direction of a predictive understanding of the coupled system. Regarding the upper atmosphere, the subjects of aeronomy, geomagnetism and geoelectricity, auroral phenomena, radio wave propagation, and plasma instabilities, are examples within the broad field of solar-terrestrial physics which emphasise the energy exchange between the solar wind, the magnetospheric and ionospheric plasmas, and the neutral gas. In the lower atmosphere, topics covered range from mesoscale to global scale dynamics, to atmospheric electricity, lightning and its effects, and to anthropogenic changes. Helpful, novel schematic diagrams are encouraged. Short animations and ancillary data sets can also be accommodated. The neurobiology of learning and memory is entering a new interdisciplinary era. Advances in neuropsychology have identified regions of brain tissue that are critical for certain types of function. Electrophysiological techniques have revealed behavioral correlates of neuronal activity. Studies of synaptic plasticity suggest that some mechanisms of memory formation may resemble those of neural development. And molecular approaches have identified genes with patterns of expression that influence behavior. It is clear that future progress depends on interdisciplinary investigations. The current literature of learning and memory is large but fragmented. Until now, there has been no single journal devoted to this area of study and no dominant journal that demands attention by serious workers in the area, regardless of specialty. Learning & Memory provides a forum for these investigations in the form of research papers and review articles.

Asian Geographer focuses on the dissemination of knowledge about geographical problems and issues related to Asia and the Pacific Rim. Original and timely articles dealing with any field of physical or human geographical inquiries and geography methodologies are published. While the focus of the journal is placed on normal research articles of both quantitative and qualitative studies, review papers, commentaries and discussion papers are also considered. Special issues on particular themes or areas are published occasionally.

The only English language journal of its kind, Journal for the Study of the Pseudepigrapha provides a much-needed forum for scholars to discuss and review most recent developments in early Jewish literature. Given the ever-increasing number and availability of primary sources for these writings, specialists have been producing text-critical, historical, social scientific, and theological studies which, in turn, have fuelled a growing interest among scholars, students, religious leaders, and the wider public.

Although sport nutrition represents a distinct field of academic and applied work, it receives input from—and makes contributions to—such fields as nutrition, physiology, biochemistry, psychology, clinical medicine, and the sport and exercise sciences. Since its inception, the International Journal of Sport Nutrition provided a forum for those studying sport nutrition from a variety of perspectives. At the same time, exercise biochemists have been studying the metabolic responses and adaptations to physical activity, creating an overlap between the two areas of study. Recognizing the maturity and interdependence of these two scientific disciplines, the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism (IJSNEM) was created. The journal is designed to provide a forum for the publication of both scholarly and applied work relating to the nutritional, biochemical, and molecular aspects of exercise science.IJSNEM publishes original scientific investigations and scholarly reviews offering new insights into sport nutrition and exercise metabolism, as well as articles focusing on the application of the principles of biochemistry, physiology, and nutrition to sport and exercise. Original research with human subjects will be emphasized, although relevant research with experimental animals may be submitted. The Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development is concerned with macro-level coverage of topics in the sociology and social psychology of language, in language and cultural politics, policy, planning and practice, and in all the many ramifications of these broad themes 8211; ethnicity and nationalism, multicultural and pluralist accommodations in heterogeneous societies, issues surrounding collective identity and its 8216;markers', the dynamics of minority groups, educational provisions for language and culture, endangered languages, language and group rights, and so on. Contributions that allow generalisation across settings are particularly welcome, as are those that embed the discussion in social and historical context. Habitat International is dedicated to the study of urban and ruralhuman settlements: their planning, design, production and management. Its main focus is on urbanisation in its broadest sense in the developing world. However, increasingly the interrelationships and linkages between cities and towns in the developing and developed worlds are becoming apparent and solutions to the problems that result are urgently required. The economic, social, technological and political systems of the world are intertwined and changes in one region almost always affect other regions. Habitat International welcomes reports of research on urban issues such as policy and implementation, the links between planning, building and land, finance and management, urban design, the interaction between the natural environment and urban areas the provision of urban services and other related problems. Papers on topics which clearly have broad implications and interrelationships based on the experiences of the developing or developed world will be considered. Submissions exploring these issues within the development context are particularly welcomed. Parliaments, Estates & Representation - Parlements, Etats et Representation is the journal of the International Commission for the History of Representative and Parliamentary Institutions (ICHRPI) - Commission internationale pour l'histoire des Assemblees d'Etats (CIHAE). The aims of the journal, as of the Commission, are to promote research into the origin, growth and development of representative and parliamentary institutions throughout the world in all periods.
