The International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry was formed in 1991 by the merger of the Journals of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry and the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry and is published bi-monthly. It has true international scope and aims to promote the highest standard of education, practice and research in paediatric dentistry world-wide. International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry publishes papers on all aspects of paediatric dentistry including: growth and development, behaviour management, prevention, restorative treatment and issue relating to medically compromised children or those with disabilities. This peer-reviewed journal features scientific articles, reviews, case reports, clinical techniques, short communications and abstracts of current paediatric dental research. Analytical studies with a scientific novelty value are preferred to descriptive studies. Case reports illustrating unusual conditions and clinically relevant observations are acceptable but must be of sufficiently high quality to be considered for publication; particularly the illustrative material must be of the highest quality.

International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology (IJSEM), formerly International Journal of Systematic Bacteriology (IJSB), is the official journal of record for novel prokaryotic taxa. Now in its 61st year (before 1966 it was known as the International Bulletin of Bacteriological Nomenclature and Taxonomy), the journal is the cornerstone of the dynamic field of microbial systematics.IJSEM publishes papers dealing with all phases of the systematics of prokaryotes, yeasts and yeast-like organisms, including taxonomy, nomenclature, identification, phylogeny, evolution, biodiversity, characterization and culture preservation. Its scope covers phylogenetic and evolutionary aspects of all micro-organisms, including the protists such as protozoa and algae, and it also publishes molecular environmental papers with a strong systematics content. Its international Editorial Board ensures the highest standards of peer review.IJSEM is published monthly with over 3000 printed pages per year. BJHP publishes articles and reviews on the history of philosophy and related intellectual history from the ancient world to the end of the 20th Century. The journal is designed to foster understanding of the history of philosophy through studying the texts of past philosophers in the context - intellectual, political and social - in which the text was created.Although focusing on the recognized classics, a feature of the journal is to give attention to less major figures and to disciplines other than philosophy which impinge on the history of philosophy including political theory, religion and the natural sciences in so far as they illuminate the history of philosophy. Europe-Asia Studies is the principal academic journal in the world focusing on the history and current political, social and economic affairs of the countries of the former 'communist bloc' of the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and Asia. At the same time, the journal explores the economic, political and social transformation of these countries and the changing character of their relationships with the rest of Europe and Asia. From its first publication in 1949, until January 1993, the title of Europe-Asia Studies was Soviet Studies. The Editors' decision to change the title to Europe-Asia Studies followed the collapse of the Soviet Union at the end of 1991. It reflected the belief that countries of the former 'Soviet bloc' would gradually become more closely linked with both Europe and Asia, while continuing to present distinctive topics for research as a consequence of their specific experience. In 2007 the Editors took a further decision to extend the journal's scope to include China and other Asian countries that are or were under communist rule. Europe-Asia Studies is published by Routledge on behalf of the Department of Central and East European Studies, a centre for teaching and research at the University of Glasgow. Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities’s ( RAPIDD's) purpose is to disseminate research, encourage its translation and relevance to practice and policy, and generate informed debate on contemporary issues that matter to the quality of life of people with intellectual disability and their families.  Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities will inform the design and delivery of support that is important for people with intellectual disability and their families to facilitate social inclusion and engagement. Its focus is also the practices and structural adjustments necessary to enable mainstream services and communities to be inclusive and respond appropriately to people with intellectual disability.

Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities will provide a forum to identify pressing research questions, practice and policy issues.  The Australian context and the pursuit of a more inclusive society for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are the core focus of the journal. Also of interest are comparative perspectives that explore similarities and differences with other contexts and groups of people with disability. The journal publishes original research, concise reviews of contemporary research or literature, critical or descriptive analysis of policy and programs, evaluative case studies illustrating application of research to practice, as well as conceptual papers that bring new ideas or theoretical perspectives to the field of intellectual and developmental disability.

The journal will establish a means of constructive dialogue between the different perspectives of managers, practitioners, academics, families, people with intellectual disability, advocates, funders and policy makers. It will provide space to consider interfaces and respective roles of communities, families and service systems, both disability and mainstream.  The content will be characterised by the quality, rigour and clarity inherent in a peer reviewed publication and be relevant and accessible to its intended audience of people with disabilities, families, service providers, academics and policy makers. The contents of  Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities are a combination of papers commissioned by editors and those submitted through an open process by anyone with an interest in the field. All papers are peer reviewed before publication and will not exceed 4000 words.
