Complex Adaptive Systems Modeling (CASM) is a highly multidisciplinary modeling and simulation journal that serves as a unique forum for original, high-quality peer-reviewed papers with a specific interest and scope limited to agent-based and complex network-based modeling paradigms for Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS). The highly multidisciplinary scope of CASM spans any domain of CAS. Possible areas of interest range from the Life Sciences (E.g. Biological Networks and agent-based models), Ecology (E.g. Agent-based/Individual-based models), Social Sciences (Agent-based simulation, Social Network Analysis), Scientometrics (E.g. Archives of Gerontology and Geriatrics provides a medium for the publication of papers from the fields of experimental gerontology and clinical and social geriatrics. The principal aim of the journal is to facilitate the exchange of information between specialists in these three fields of gerontological research. Experimental papers dealing with the basic mechanisms of aging at molecular, cellular, tissue or organ levels will be published.Clinical papers will be accepted if they provide sufficiently new information or are of fundamental importance for the knowledge of human aging. Purely descriptive clinical papers will be accepted only if the results permit further interpretation. Papers dealing with anti-aging pharmacological preparations in humans are welcome. Medical Care Research and Review provides essential information about the field of health services to researchers, policy makers, managers, and practitioners. MCR&R publishes peer-reviewed articles synthesizing empirical and theoretical research on health services, examining such issues as organization, financing, health care reform, quality of care, and patient-provider relationships. The journal seeks three kinds of manuscripts: review articles that synthesize previous research in several disciplines and therewith provide guidance to others conducting empirical research as well as to policy makers, managers, and/or practitioners; methodologically rigorous empirical research that provides a significant contribution to previous knowledge; and articles that present new data and trends in the health care area or help us better understand how data can be used by the field.

Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy Review publishes papers dealing with both applied and theoretical aspects of extractive and process metallurgy and mineral processing. It emphasizes research germane to specific industrial processes and research that examines economic and environmental issues as well as basic engineering technology. Review papers devoted to ore genesis, properties and uses of minerals, the scientific, engineering and economic aspects of the extraction, separation and purification of minerals and metals, and the post-treatment of mineral processing and extractive treatment of mineral processing and extractive metallurgy effluents are also invited. In addition to regular issues, special issues addressing narrowly focused subjects of regional or topical significance are published when the Editors feel there is sufficient interest among readers.

The JBSP publishes papers on phenomenology and existential
philosophy as well as contributions from other fields of philosophy engaging
with topics in the tradition of Phenomenology. Papers from researchers
in the humanities and the human sciences interested in the philosophy of their
subject will be welcome too. Space will be given to research in progress, to
interdisciplinary discussion, and to book reviews.

In each annual volume we aim to publish one Special Issue covering themes of
contemporary significance. Proposals for such issues should be submitted to the
editor, around two years before planned publication. The person proposing the
Special Issue will usually serve as Guest Editor for that issue.
