This timely publication reports and reviews current findings on the effects of nutrition on the etiology, therapy, and prevention of cancer. Etiological issues include clinical and experimental research in nutrition, carcinogenesis, epidemiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology. Coverage of therapy focuses on research in clinical nutrition and oncology, dietetics, and bioengineering. Prevention approaches include public health recommendations, preventative medicine, behavior modification, education, functional foods, and agricultural and food production policies. The European Journal of Agronomy, the official journal of the European Society for Agronomy, publishes original research papers reporting experimental and theoretical contributions to crop science in the following fields:• Crop physiology• Crop production and management• Agroclimatology and modelling• Plant-soil relationships• Crop quality and post-harvest physiology• Farming and cropping systems• Agroecosystems and the environmentIn determining the suitability of submitted articles for publication, particular scrutiny will be placed on the degree of novelty and significance of the research and the extent to which it adds to existing knowledge in agronomy. Confirmatory research and results from routine cultivar or agronomy trials will not normally be considered for publication. Review articles are normally written on invitation from the Editor-in-Chief. Authors intending to prepare review papers for the Journal are advised to consult the Editor-in-Chief before writing their reviews.

Advanced molecular research techniques have transformed hematology in recent years. With improved understanding of hematologic diseases, we now have the opportunity to research and evaluate new biological therapies, new drugs and drug combinations, new treatment schedules and novel approaches including stem cell transplantation. We can also expect proteomics, molecular genetics and biomarker research to facilitate new diagnostic approaches and the identification of appropriate therapies. Further advances in our knowledge regarding the formation and function of blood cells and blood-forming tissues should ensue, and it will be a major challenge for hematologists to adopt these new paradigms and develop integrated strategies to define the best possible patient care. Expert Review of Hematology (1747-4086) puts these advances in context and explores how they will translate directly into clinical practice.

Specifically, the journal publishes original researches in all fields that interest Pharmacists as drug absorption & metabolism, pharmacokinetics & dynamics, drug delivery including gene delivery, drug targeting and nano-technology, Pharmacotherapeutics, community and hospital pharmacy as well as Pharmaceutical and hospital management. The scope will also cover researches in toxicology, cell and molecular biology, biomedical research, basic & clinical and pharmaceutical microbiology, pharmaceutical biotechnology, medicinal chemistry, phytochemistry and nutraceuticals.

Proceedings of scientific meetings may be published as special issues or supplements to the Journal. Manuscripts submitted to the Journal are only accepted on the understanding that: they are subject to editorial review (generally by two independent referees); they have not been, and will not be, published in whole or in part in any other journal.

Gates Open Research publishes scholarly articles reporting any basic scientific, translational, applied and clinical research (including quantitative and qualitative studies) that has been funded (or co-funded) by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Gates Open Research is a publishing platform owned by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and uses technology and editorial services provided by F1000. Each publication must have at least one author who has been, or still is, a recipient of a Gates Foundation grant.

The fully open access platform enables authors to control the publication process themselves: submitted articles and their accompanying source data are published after a rapid set of objective checks, ensuring that basic scholarly publication policies and standards are adhered to. The published articles then undergo invited and open peer review (referee names and the referee report are published alongside the article). Authors can revise and update their articles when and how they wish. Articles that reach an adequate level of positive formal peer review will be indexed in PubMed and elsewhere.
