African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation & Development (AJSTID) is a multidiscipline journal covering economics, science, engineering, and technology, but with the core focus on economics of innovation and development. AJSTID provides an important outlet to research on process and impact of science, technology and innovation at two levels: the narrow objective of achieving industrial growth, and the broader objective of achieving socio-economic development, particularly in Africa and other developing economies.

AJSTID aims to undertaking and promoting the scientific research in a broader sense. It provides an outlet for research works by scientists, academia, engineers, practitioners, doctoral scholars and post graduate students concerned with the impact of science, technology and innovation process on industrial, economic, and social development. AJSTID brings Publishing to the doorstep of every emerging researcher in Africa and other developing countries.

All submitted manuscripts should be original and previously unpublished and are subject to initial appraisal. If found suitable for further consideration, manuscripts will be sent for peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. AJSTID follows the double blind review system. However, peer review is single blind in some exceptional cases, such as highly specialized scientific papers. 

Atmospheric Measurement Techniques (AMT) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and discussion of advances in remote sensing, in-situ and laboratory measurement techniques for the constituents and properties of the Earth’s atmosphere.The main subject areas comprise the development, intercomparison and validation of measurement instruments and techniques of data processing and information retrieval for gases, aerosols, and clouds. The manuscript types considered for peer-reviewed publication are research articles, review articles, and commentaries.AMT has an innovative two-stage publication process involving the scientific discussion forum Atmospheric Measurement Techniques Discussions (AMTD), which has been designed to:* foster scientific discussion;* maximize the effectiveness and transparency of scientific quality assurance;* enable rapid publication;* make scientific publications freely accessible.In the first stage, papers that pass a rapid access peer-review are immediately published on the Atmospheric Measurement Techniques Discussions (AMTD) website. In the second stage, the peer-review process is completed and, if accepted, the final revised papers are published in AMT. To ensure publication precedence for authors, and to provide a lasting record of scientific discussion, AMTD and AMT are both ISSN-registered, permanently archived and fully citable.

BBA Molecular Basis of Disease addresses the biochemistry and molecular genetics of disease processes and models of human disease. This journal covers aspects of aging, cancer, metabolic-, neurological-, and immunological-based disease. Manuscripts focused on using animal models to elucidate biochemical and mechanistic insight in each of these conditions, are particularly encouraged. Manuscripts should emphasize the underlying mechanisms of disease pathways and provide novel contributions to the understanding and/or treatment of these disorders. Highly descriptive and method development submissions may be declined without full review. Biostatics & Epidemiology is the official publication of the International Biometric Society – Chinese Region. The journal provides a platform for the dissemination of new statistical methods and the promotion of good analytical practices in biomedical investigation and epidemiology.

The journal has four main sections:

• Method and Theory – Papers should contain new statistical methods and theory that are motivated by real clinical applications.
• Applications – Papers should provide comprehensive examples from biomedical sciences and epidemiology and clearly articulate the appropriateness of the chosen statistical methods in addressing significant clinical or research questions.
• Software and Computing – Papers should highlight the utilization of software/computing algorithms in statistical methods related to biomedical science and epidemiology.
• Tutorials – Papers should be educational pieces or critical reviews of statistical methods in important and emerging areas of biomedical science and epidemiology.

Case studies of substantial scientific and methodological importance are also welcomed.

Proposals for special issues are encouraged, and should be discussed with the Editor-in-Chief.

Biomedical engineering has been characterized as the application of concepts drawn from engineering, computing, communications, mathematics, and the physical sciences to scientific and applied problems in the field of medicine and biology. Concepts and methodologies in biomedical engineering extend throughout the medical and biological sciences. This journal attempts to critically review a wide range of research and applied activities in the field. More often than not, topics chosen for inclusion are concerned with research and practice issues of current interest. Experts writing each review bring together current knowledge and historical information that has led to the current state-of-the-art. Each issue contains one or more critical reviews of specified topics representing applied, clinical and basic science areas. Most articles contain in-depth appraisals of the current state-of-the-art in a specific area of research or practice and provide complete and up-to-date bibliographies. Each review attempts to be nearly exhaustive in a constrained area rather than broad and overarching. The critical evaluations of current research and development issues include interpretive discussions of major problems. From time to time, a series of articles in a related topic area are published in order to give comprehensive coverage. Collaborative works generated by multiple authors are frequently used to provide in-depth coverage from multiple viewpoints. Each article is reviewed by one or more independent experts in the field. The editor invites comments and suggestions about the contents of the reviews.

Economic Systems Research is a double blind peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the furtherance of theoretical and factual knowledge about economic systems, structures and processes, and their change through time and space, at the subnational, national and international level. The Journal of Access Services welcomes the submission of research, theory, and practice papers relevant to the access services in libraries and archives of all types. Access Services is the broad field and collective term of all the services that provide, facilitate, and manage the access of the clientele to the information resources acquired or made available by the libraries or archives with the aim of allowing for easy and convenient retrieval of needed information, utilization of information resources to the fullest extent, and greatest availability of resources to each of the clientele. The aim of Neuropeptides is the rapid publication of original research and review articles, dealing with the structure, distribution, actions and functions of peptides in the central and peripheral nervous systems. The explosion of research activity in this field has led to the identification of numerous naturally occurring endogenous peptides which act as neurotransmitters, neuromodulators, or trophic factors, to mediate nervous system functions. Increasing numbers of non-peptide ligands of neuropeptide receptors have been developed, which act as agonists or antagonists in peptidergic systems.The journal provides a unique opportunity of integrating the many disciplines involved in all neuropeptide research. The journal publishes articles on all aspects of the neuropeptide field, with particular emphasis on gene regulation of peptide expression, peptide receptor subtypes, transgenic and knockout mice with mutations in genes for neuropeptides and peptide receptors, neuroanatomy, physiology, behaviour, neurotrophic factors, preclinical drug evaluation, clinical studies, and clinical trials.Original papers predominate. Qualitative Research in Psychology aims to become the primary forum for qualitative researchers in all areas of psychology8211; cognitive, social, developmental, educational, clinical, health, and forensic8211;as well as for those conducting psychologically relevant qualitative research in other disciplines. Qualitative Research in Psychology is dedicated to exploring and expanding the territory of qualitative psychological research, strengthening its identity within the international research community and defining its place within the undergraduate and graduate curriculum. The journal will be broad in scope, presenting the full range of qualitative approaches to psychological research. Russian Journal of Communication (RJC) is an international peer-reviewed academic publication devoted to studies of communication in, with, and about Russia and Russian-speaking communities around the world. RJC welcomes both humanistic and social scientific scholarly approaches to communication, which is broadly construed to include mediated information as well as face-to-face interactions. RJC seeks papers and book reviews on topics including philosophy of communication, traditional and new media, film, literature, rhetoric, journalism, information-communication technologies, cultural practices, organizational and group dynamics, interpersonal communication, communication in instructional contexts, advertising, public relations, political campaigns, legal proceedings, environmental and health matters, and communication policy. Science & Global Security is an international journal for peer-reviewed scientific and technical studies relating to arms control, disarmament, and nonproliferation policy. Its goals are to help create a common understanding of the technical basis for new policy initiatives and to provide an archival source for further works of scholarship and policy analysis. Articles in the past few years have included technical studies on the characteristics and verification of centrifuge uranium enrichment, the monitoring of containers to detect nuclear material, the risks of accidental launch of ballistic missiles, Russia's nuclear icebreaker fleet, advances in seismic monitoring of underground nuclear weapon tests, and the characteristics and proliferation resistance of new nuclear reactor concepts and fuel cycles. Statistics in Biosciences (SIB) is published twice a year in print and electronic form. It aims at development and application of statistical methods and their interface with other quantitative methods, such as computational and mathematical methods, in biological and life science, health science, and biopharmaceutical and biotechnological science. SIB publishes scientific papers and review articles in four sections, with the first two sections as the primary sections. Original Articles publish novel statistical and quantitative methods in biosciences. The Bioscience Case Studies and Practice Articles publish papers that advance statistical practice in biosciences, such as case studies, innovative applications of existing methods that further understanding of subject-matter science, evaluation of existing methods and data sources. Review Articles publish papers that review an area of statistical and quantitative methodology, software, and data sources in biosciences. Commentaries provide perspectives of research topics or policy issues that are of current quantitative interest in biosciences, reactions to an article published in the journal, and scholarly essays. Substantive science is essential in motivating and demonstrating the methodological development and use for an article to be acceptable. Articles published in SIB share the goal of promoting evidence-based real world practice and policy making through effective and timely interaction and communication of statisticians and quantitative researchers with subject-matter scientists in biosciences.
