Our views of the physical world are changing rapidly. Humanity's continuing search for coherent structures in physics, biology, and cosmology has frequently led to surprises as well as confusion. Discovering new phenomena is one thing, putting them into context with other pieces of knowledge, and inferring their fundamental consequences is quite something else. There are controversies, differences of opinion, and sometimes even religious feelings which come into play. These should be discussed openly. Philosophical issues that are of a general, nontechnical nature should be handled in the opinion pages of the news media, but when the discussed arguments become too technical for that, when peer review is needed to select the really valuable pieces of insight, only a distinguished scientific journal is the appropriate form.
Foundations of Physics is an international journal devoted to the conceptual bases and fundamental theories of modern physics and cosmology, emphasizing the logical, methodological, andFrontiers in Neuroendocrinology, an official journal of the International Society of Neuroendocrinology and has built a reputation for topical authoritative reviews. Frontiers is at the top of both neuroscience and endocrine journals in terms of citations and Impact Factor. This prestigious publication reviews the exciting, rapidly moving, and in some instance, controversial aspects of the broad field of brain-endocrine interactions.Frontiers in Neuroendocrinology is comprised of comprehensive review articles. Most of the reviews are invited and we welcome unsolicited reviews and proposals provided they will meet the quality threshold of the journal. We also encourage authors to submit proposals for commentaries which succinctly raise new ideas or provide additional analysis to further explore ramifications of an article published in Frontiers in Neuroendocrinology. Areas of interest include:• Integrative cellular and molecular aspects of hormonally active peptides• Neurotransmitters that regulate the secretion of hypothalamic hormones• Comparative and clinical neuroendocrinology• Interactions between the nervous system and the immune system
Future Cardiology reflects a new era of cardiology and highlights the new molecular approach to advancing cardiovascular therapy. Coverage also reflects the major technological advances in bioengineering in cardiology in terms of advanced and robust devices, miniaturization, imaging, system modeling and information management issues. We also take a new approach to the way information is structured and delivered, so that its value is maximized to the reader. Future Cardiology provides a forward-looking, authoritative perspective with a readily accessible format to inform future clinical practice in cardiovascular care. Integrated molecular approaches will have a great impact on cardiovascular healthcare in the future. However, the expense of such treatments viewed alongside the increasingly aging population will require a fundamental review of how this care is provided, and exploration of their relevance in the clinical setting, to inform future clinical practice in cardiovascular care.

Journal of Chemical Ecology is devoted to promoting an ecological understanding of the origin, function, and significance of natural chemicals that mediate interactions within and between organisms. Such relationships, often adaptively important, comprise the oldest of communication systems in terrestrial and aquatic environments. The strong interdisciplinary association that has developed between chemists and biologists has accelerated our understanding of these interactions in nature. Scientific contributions, including review articles, original research papers, rapid communications, and Letters to the Editor are welcome from either members or nonmembers of the International Society of Chemical Ecology. Manuscripts must be in English. They may include substantive observations of interactions in nature, the elucidation of the chemical compounds involved, the mechanisms of their production and reception, and the translation of such basic information into survey and control protocols. To be considered for peer
Journal of Cloud Computing: Advances, Systems and Applications (JoCCASA) is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery aims to reflect the state of the art in cutaneous biology and dermatology by providing original scientific writings, as well as a complete critical review of the dermatology literature for clinicians, trainees, and academicians. The journal endeavours to bring readers cutting edge dermatologic information in two distinct formats. Part of each issue features scholarly research and articles on issues of basic and applied science, insightful case reports, comprehensive continuing medical education, and in depth reviews, all of which provide theoretical framework for practitioners to make sound practical decisions. The evolving field of dermatology is highlighted through these articles. In addition, part of each issue is dedicated to making the most important developments in dermatology easily accessible to the clinician by presenting well-chosen, well-written, and highly organized information in a format that is interesting, clearly presented, and useful to patient care.
