The Asian Development Review is a journal of the Asian Development Bank and the Asian Development Bank Institute. It publishes research on economic and development issues relevant to the Asia and Pacific region. The Asian Development Review seeks high-quality empirically-rigorous papers with relevance to policy issues. Articles are intended for readership by economists and researchers in government, the private sector, academia, think tanks, and international organizations.

Comparative Education Review investigates education throughout the world and the social, economic, and political forces that shape it. Founded in 1957 to advance knowledge and teaching in comparative education studies, the Review has since established itself as the most reliable source for the analysis of the place of education in countries other than the United States. CER is the official journal of the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES).

Review of Scientific Instruments, published by the American Institute of Physics, is devoted to scientific instruments, apparatus, and techniques. The Tocqueville Review is a French-American bilingual journal devoted to the comparative study of social change, primarily in Europe and the United States, but also covering major developments in other parts of the world, in the spirit of Alexis de Tocquevilles pioneer investigations. Visual Anthropology Review presents research on visual studies, broadly conceived. Human Dimensions of Wildlife, which publishes six times annually, is devoted to the study of social considerations in fisheries and wildlife management. The journal provides an open forum for exchange of human dimensions information. The Journal of Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary journal which publishes articles relating to gender from a feminist perspective covering a wide range of subject areas including the Social and Natural Sciences, Arts and Popular Culture. Reviews of books and details of forthcoming conferences are also included. The Journal of Gender Studies seeks articles from international sources and aims to take account of a diversity of cultural backgrounds and differences in sexual orientation. Slavery & Abolition is the only journal devoted in its entirety to a discussion of the demographic, socio-economic, historical and psychological aspects of human bondage from the ancient period to the present. It is also concerned with the dismantling of the slave systems and with the legacy of slavery. The journal publishes research articles, comments, reflections and review articles. Published since 1974, Politikon is the official journal of the South African Association of Political Studies. Politikon focuses primarily on South African politics, but not exclusively so. Over the years the journal has published articles by some of the world's leading political scientists, including Arend Lijphart, Samuel Huntington, and Philippe Schmitter. It has also featured important contributions from South Africa's leading political philosophers, political scientists and international relations experts.
