Acta Mechanica Sinica, sponsored by the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, promotes scientific exchanges and collaboration among Chinese scientists in China and abroad. It features high quality, original papers in all aspects of mechanics and mechanical sciences. Not only does the journal explore the classical subdivisions of theoretical and applied mechanics such as solid and fluid mechanics, it also explores recently emerging areas such as biomechanics and nanomechanics. In addition, the journal investigates analytical, computational, and experimental progresses in all areas of mechanics. Lastly, it encourages research in interdisciplinary subjects, serving as a bridge between mechanics and other branches of engineering and the sciences. In addition to research papers, Acta Mechanica Sinica publishes reviews, notes, experimental techniques, scientific events, and other special topics of interest.

The American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy (AJHP) is the official publication of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). It publishes peer reviewed scientific papers on contemporary drug therapy and pharmacy practice innovations in hospitals and health systems. With a circulation of nearly 40,000, AJHP is the most widely recognized and respected clinical pharmacy journal in the world.Articles in AJHP are abstracted and indexed in PubMed and many other scientific databases. The views expressed by authors of contributions in AJHP do not necessarily reflect the policy of ASHP or the institution with which the author is affiliated, unless this is clearly specified. Policy statements and official positions of ASHP are clearly labeled as such. Authors, reviewers, editorial board members, contributing editors, and AJHP editors are required to declare potential conflicts of interest regarding manuscripts submitted for publication.

Analytical Methods welcomes early applications of new analytical and bioanalytical methods and technology demonstrating the potential for societal impact. We require that methods and technology reported in the journal are sufficiently innovative, robust, accurate, and compared to other available methods for the intended application. Developments with interdisciplinary approaches are particularly welcome. Systems should be proven with suitably complex and analytically challenging samples. We encourage developments within, but not limited to, the following technologies and applications: global health, point-of-care and molecular diagnostics; biosensors and bioengineering; drug development and pharmaceutical analysis; applied microfluidics and nanotechnology; -omics studies, such as proteomics, metabolomics or glycomics; environmental, agricultural and food science; neuroscience; biochemical and clinical analysis; forensic analysis; industrial process and method development.

Materials Horizons is a leading journal for the publication of exceptionally high quality, innovative materials science. The journal places an emphasis on original research that demonstrates a new concept or a new way of thinking (a conceptual advance), in addition to outstanding articles featuring truly breakthrough developments. Materials Horizons spans the entire breadth of materials science, including theoretical or experimental studies that report new understanding, applications, properties and synthesis of materials.

This is the official journal of the Mathematical Optimization Society. It publishes original articles dealing with every aspect of mathematical programming: everything of direct or indirect use concerning the problem of optimizing a function of many variables, often subject to a set of constraints. This involves theoretical and computational issues as well as application studies. Mathematical Programming consists of two series: Series A publishes original research articles, expositions and surveys, and reports on computational experimentation and new or innovative practical applications as well as short communications dealing with the above. Each issue of Series B focuses on a single subject, selected to respond to the current interests of the mathematical programming community and has one or more guest-editors, who need not be members of the editorial board. An issue may be a collection of original articles, a single research monograph or a selection of papers from an appropriate conference.

Metabolomics publishes a substantial share of the most significant current research in the areas of various-technology platform development for metabolomics, metabolite target analysis, metabolic profiling and metabolic fingerprinting; progress in data preparation, storage, curation and analyses; comparative integrated studies with transcriptomics and proteomics including within a systems biology context; and the application of metabolomics as it relates to man, animals and plants.Metabolomics includes wide-ranging and rigorously peer-reviewed research papers and reviews ; a comment section for responses from readers on articles published; conference announcements and reports; funding initiatives and other metabolomics topics; occasional special issues focusing on subjects of particular interest.  Metabolomics publishes six issues a year.  Metabolomics is the official journal of the Metabolomics Society.

For more than a century the Annals of Anatomy have been one of the most famous and widespread journals on morphology. The journal is open to original papers covering a link between anatomy and areas such as molecular biology, cell biology, reproductive biology, immunobiology, developmental biology, neurobiology, embryology as well as neuroanatomy, neuroimmunology, clinical anatomy, comparative anatomy, modern imaging techniques, evolution, and especially also aging. Moreover, manuscripts dealing with all forms of anatomical teaching and new forms of curricula will be considered for publication. Avian Conservation and Ecology is an open-access, fully electronic scientific journal, sponsored by the Society of Canadian Ornithologists and Bird Studies Canada. We publish papers that are scientifically rigorous and relevant to the bird conservation community in a cost-effective electronic approach that makes them freely available to scientists and the public in real-time. ACE is a fully indexed ISSN journal that welcomes contributions from scientists all over the world. While the name of the journal implies a publication niche of conservation AND ecology, we think the theme of conservation THROUGH ecology provides a better sense of our purpose. As such, we are particularly interested in contributions that use a scientifically sound and rigorous approach to the achievement of avian conservation as revealed through insights into ecological principles and processes. Papers are expected to fall along a continuum of pure conservation and management at one end to more pure ecology at the other but our emphasis will be on those contributions with direct relevance to conservation objectives.

RSC Mechanochemistry focuses on the publication of innovative research that advances the fundamental understanding and application of the use of mechanical force for driving and controlling chemical reactions and materials transformations in the gas, liquid, and solid states. As mechanochemistry is where chemistry and mechanics meet, and involves the interaction of mechanical energy with matter at the molecular, supramolecular, and bulk materials levels, it encompasses not only areas such as sustainable chemical synthesis, but also tribochemistry, chemo/mechanical transduction (e.g. polymer mechanochemistry, mechano-biology, photo-mechanochemistry), and mechanical alloying. Submissions on all aspects related to mechanochemistry and its role in enhancing and broadening sustainable chemistry are welcome.

Neurophysiologie Clinique/Clinical Neurophysiology delivers the most recent and prominent developments in neurophysiologic investigations of the central and peripheral nervous system, and of the muscle of normal or ill human beings and animals. Regular sections include original research, general reviews, short communications and a correspondence section which increase knowledge, provide guidelines and stimulate research in the field. Articles are published in English or in French.

Readers are also kept informed of the latest events in neurophysiology through abstracts of the Society's conference meetings, analyses of scientific articles and book reviews, all of which are published in the journal.

Neurophysiologie Clinique/Clinical Neurophysiology addresses all researchers and clinicians in the field of the nervous system: classical and numerical, dipole source localisation, evoked potentials, sleep and neuromuscular electrophysiology. The journal is published under the auspices of the French speaking Society of Clinical Neurophysiology.

The European Journal of Agronomy, the official journal of the European Society for Agronomy, publishes original research papers reporting experimental and theoretical contributions to crop science in the following fields:• Crop physiology• Crop production and management• Agroclimatology and modelling• Plant-soil relationships• Crop quality and post-harvest physiology• Farming and cropping systems• Agroecosystems and the environmentIn determining the suitability of submitted articles for publication, particular scrutiny will be placed on the degree of novelty and significance of the research and the extent to which it adds to existing knowledge in agronomy. Confirmatory research and results from routine cultivar or agronomy trials will not normally be considered for publication. Review articles are normally written on invitation from the Editor-in-Chief. Authors intending to prepare review papers for the Journal are advised to consult the Editor-in-Chief before writing their reviews.

Journal of Adult Development, is a forum for publication of peer-reviewed, original theoretical and empirical articles on biological, psychological (cognitive, affective, valuative, behavioral), and sociocultural development in young, middle, and late adulthood. Coverage spans developments in both basic and applied research as well as quantitative and qualitative approaches to inquiry. The range of topics includes the acquisition of moral ideas and principles; the development and character of the ego; the changing nature of human relationships across the life span; relationship between the ethical atmosphere of higher education institutions and the development of adults within them; ways in which clinical interventions and adult developmental characteristics promote development in a variety of settings.
