The Review of International Organizations publishes original scientific contributions analyzing the operations and policies of agencies such as the International Monetary Fund, the World Trade Organization, the Group of 7, the World Bank, NATO, the World Health Organization, the European Court of Human Rights, the UN, and similar institutions. Its focus extends to governmental organizations, as well as international non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Beyond formal organizations, the Review presents papers on softer institutions and networks of international cooperation, including APEC, the Global Development Network, and the International Competition Forum. The journal offers studies based on modern economic, political economic, and international relations theories, using quantitative or qualitative methods. The RIO has a comment section where it invites comments to articles published in the Review of International Organizations and elsewhere. Social Politics: International Studies in Gender, State, and Society examines political systems and cultural institutions through the lens of gender. Knowledge-Based Systems is an international, interdisciplinary and applications-oriented journal. Statistics and Computing is a bi-monthly refereed journal that publishes papers covering the interface between the statistical and computing sciences.

The journal includes techniques for evaluating analytically intractable problems, such as bootstrap resampling, Markov chain Monte Carlo, sequential Monte Carlo, approximate Bayesian computation,  search and optimization methods, stochastic simulation and Monte Carlo, graphics, computer environments, statistical approaches to software errors, information retrieval, machine learning, statistics of databases and database technology, huge data sets and big data analytics, computer algebra, graphical models, image processing, tomography, inverse problems and uncertainty quantification.

The ACM Transactions on AI Security and Privacy (TAISAP) publishes research investigating all aspects of AI security and privacy, including models, systems, and environments.  Research areas related to AI security include examining adversarial attacks, technical vulnerabilities within AI, and privacy concerns related to AI model training and deployment. We also welcome submissions exploring AI’s application in cybersecurity, such as within security operations centers, open source software security, and cyber threat intelligence. The ACM Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems (TODAES) publishes recent significant results of research and development efforts in the area of design automation of electronic systems. The TODAES editorial board invites submission of technical papers describing recent results of research and development efforts in the area of design automation of electronic systems. The journal intends to provide a comprehensive coverage of innovative works concerning the specification, design, analysis, simulation, testing, and evaluation of very large scale integrated electronic systems, emphasizing a computer science/engineering orientation.

The purpose of the ACM Transactions on Mathematical Software (TOMS) is to communicate important research results addressing the development, evaluation and use of mathematical software. In addition, TOMS publishes machine-readable computer software which is incorporated into the Collected Algorithms of the ACM; such software may be written in any programming language that is in widespread use, but the author must be able to make the case as to why the language chosen was the most appropriate given the goals of wide usability and applicability of research published in TOMS. In both research papers and software, TOMS seeks contributions of lasting value in which technical quality, relevance to significant computations, interest, and novelty are all high, and where presentation is effective.

The IEEE Transactions on Antennas & Propagation publishes full papers and shorter Communications on original contributions within the general topics of electromagnetics, antennas and wave propagation. Specifically the journal focuses on: antennas, including analysis, design, development, measurement, and testing; radiation, propagation, and the interaction of electromagnetic waves with discrete and continuous media; and applications and systems pertinent to antennas, propagation, and sensing, such as applied optics, millimeter- and sub-millimeter-wave techniques, antenna signal processing and control, radio astronomy, and propagation and radiation aspects of terrestrial and space-based communication, including wireless, mobile, satellite, and telecommunications.

The purpose of this Transactions is to publish papers of interest to individuals in the area of computer-aided design of integrated circuits and systems composed of analog, digital, mixed-signal, optical, or microwave components. The aids include methods, models, algorithms, and man-machine interfaces for system-level, physical and logical design including: planning, synthesis, partitioning, modeling, simulation, layout, verification, testing, hardware-software co-design and documentation of integrated circuit and system designs of all complexities. Design tools and techniques for evaluating and designing integrated circuits and systems for metrics such as performance, power, reliability, testability, and security are a focus.

The IEEE Transactions on Education (ToE) publishes significant and original scholarly contributions to education in electrical and electronics engineering, computer engineering, computer science, and other fields within the scope of interest of IEEE. Contributions must address discovery, integration, and/or application of knowledge in education in these fields. Articles must support contributions and assertions with compelling evidence and provide explicit, transparent descriptions of the processes through which the evidence is collected, analyzed, and interpreted. While characteristics of compelling evidence cannot be described to address every conceivable situation, generally assessment of the work being reported must go beyond student self-report and attitudinal data.

IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility publishes original and significant contributions related to all disciplines of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and relevant methods to predict, assess and prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI) and increase device/product immunity. The scope of the publication includes, but is not limited to Electromagnetic Environments; Interference Control; EMC and EMI Modeling; High Power Electromagnetics; EMC Standards, Methods of EMC Measurements; Computational Electromagnetics and Signal and Power Integrity, as applied or directly related to Electromagnetic Compatibility problems; Transmission Lines; Electrostatic Discharge and Lightning Effects; EMC in Wireless and Optical Technologies; EMC in Printed Circuit Board and System Design.

IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices publishes original and significant contributions relating to the theory, modeling, design, performance and reliability of electron and ion integrated circuit devices and interconnects, involving insulators, metals, organic materials, micro-plasmas, semiconductors, quantum-effect structures, vacuum devices, and emerging materials with applications in bioelectronics, biomedical electronics, computation, communications, displays, microelectromechanics, imaging, micro-actuators, nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, photovoltaics, power ICs and micro-sensors. Tutorial and review papers on these subjects are also published and occasional special issues appear to present a collection of papers which treat particular areas in more depth and breadth. 

The IEEE Transactions on Computational Intelligence and AI in Games (T-CIAIG) publishes archival journal quality original papers in computational intelligence and related areas in artificial intelligence applied to games, including but not limited to videogames, mathematical games, human–computer interactions in games, and games involving physical objects. Emphasis is placed on the use of these methods to improve performance in and understanding of the dynamics of games, as well as gaining insight into the properties of the methods as applied to games. It also includes using games as a platform for building intelligent embedded agents for the real world. Papers connecting games to all areas of computational intelligence and traditional AI are considered.

The IEEE Transactions on Image Processing covers novel theory, algorithms, and architectures for the formation, capture, processing, communication, analysis, and display of images, video, and multidimensional signals in a wide variety of applications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the mathematical, statistical, and perceptual modeling, representation, formation, coding, filtering, enhancement, restoration, rendering, halftoning, search, and analysis of images, video, and multidimensional signals. Applications of interest include image and video communications, electronic imaging, biomedical imaging, image and video systems, and remote sensing.

IEEE Transactions on Reliability is a refereed journal for the reliability and allied disciplines including, but not limited to, maintainability, physics of failure, life testing, prognostics, design and manufacture for reliability, reliability for systems of systems, network availability, mission success, warranty, safety, and various measures of effectiveness. Topics eligible for publication range from hardware to software, from materials to systems, from consumer and industrial devices to manufacturing plants, from individual items to networks, from techniques for making things better to ways of predicting and measuring behavior in the field. The IEEE Transactions on Robotics (T-RO) publishes fundamental papers on all aspects of Robotics, featuring interdisciplinary approaches from computer science, control systems, electrical engineering, mathematics, mechanical engineering, and other fields. Robots and intelligent machines and systems are critical in areas such as industrial applications; service and personal assistants; surgical operations; space, underwater, and remote exploration; entertainment; safety, search, and rescue; military applications; agriculture applications; and intelligent vehicles. Special emphasis in the T-RO is placed on intelligent machines and systems for unstructured environments, where a significant portion of the environment is unknown and cannot be directly sensed or controlled.
