Text and Performance Quarterly publishes scholarship that explores and advances the study of performance as a social, communicative practice; as a technology of representation and expression; and as a hermeneutic. Articles address performance and the performative from a wide range of perspectives and methodologies, and they investigate all sites of performance from the classical stage to popular culture to the practices of everyday life. TPQ also features a 'Performance in Review' section that provides a scholarly forum to document performances and to situate and critique them within enduring and emergent issues in performance studies praxis. Projects about artists working outside the academy are featured, however, work is also encouraged from or about academic scholar-artists who use performance as a method of inquiry. In addition to standard monographs, TPQ also publishes papers that examine and analyze performance in other scholarly modes, including experimental critical essays, photo essays, interviews, and performance texts/scripts. The International Journal of Testing (IJT) is dedicated to the advancement of theory, research, and practice in the area of testing and assessment in psychology, education, counseling, organizational behavior, human resource management, and related disciplines. Expedited contributions undergo one round of reviews within 2 weeks of receipt by the Editorial office, and authors will have a deadline of 4 weeks to complete revisions. Expedited Contributions should be published 10 to 12 weeks after final acceptance. If the manuscript grows beyond the length or figure criteria specified above during the review and revision, or if it requires a second round of reviews, the contribution will move out of the expedited contributions category and will be considered as a regular article. * Comments and Reply Exchanges - Comments are written in response to a published article. The author of the article being commented upon always has the opportunity to write a reply. These exchanges are published together.

Launched in 2007, ‘NanoEthics: Studies of New and Emerging Technologies’ is an innovative journal of science and technology studies (STS) focusing on technologies converging at the nanoscale and other new and emerging technologies. It has published important contributions to discussions on a wide range of ethical, legal, social, political and cultural aspects of areas such as biotechnology, nanotechnology, neurotechnology and information and communication technology.
The journal has played a key role in ethical and STS discourse on nanoscience and nanotechnology, responsible research and innovation (RRI), synthetic biology, human enhancement / animal enhancement and other topics. At the same time, NanoEthics is an important forum for the exploration of and interactions between art, science and technology. Ostrich: Journal of African Ornithology is the leading ornithological journal in Africa, and publishes peer-reviewed scientific papers and short communications (<2,000 words) on all aspects of ornithology conducted in Africa and its associated islands and marine habitats. Contributions reporting on avian behaviour, breeding, conservation, demography, ecology, migration, morphology and systematics are welcome. Review articles are particularly encouraged.
