The Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, founded by Francesco Pipino in the year 2000, is an official journal of the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. The journal publishes original papers reporting basic research or clinical applications in the field of orthopaedic and traumatologic surgery, as well as technical notes, rapid communications, case reports, comments and letters to the Editor. Although the journal is managed by the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, contributions from authors working in other countries are welcome.The Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology aims to be a forum for the communication and exchange of ideas concerning the various aspects of orthopaedics and traumatology. ICT Express covers the field of ICT convergence, platform technologies, communication networks, and device technologies. The scope of Physica B comprises all condensed matterphysics, including both experimental and theoretical work. Neuroscience Letters is devoted to the rapid publication of short, high-quality papers of interest to the broad community of neuroscientists. Only papers which will make a significant addition to the literature in the field will be published. Papers in all areas of neuroscience - molecular, cellular, developmental, systems, behavioral and cognitive, as well as computational - will be considered for publication. Submission of laboratory investigations that shed light on disease mechanisms is encouraged. Section A of Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research publishes papers on design, manufacturing and performance of scientific instruments with an emphasis on large scale facilities. This includes the development of particle accelerators, ion sources, beam transport systems and target arrangements as well as the use of secondary phenomena such as synchrotron radiation and free electron lasers. Biological Psychology publishes original scientific papers on neural, endocrine, immune, and other physiological aspects of psychological states and processes. Such aspects include assessments by biochemistry, electrophysiology, and neuroimaging during psychological experiments as well as biologically induced changes in psychological function. Psychological investigations based on biological theories are also of interest. All aspects of psychological functioning, including psychopathology, are germane.

The Journal is focused on work with human individuals, but may consider work with animals, if conceptually related to issues in human biological psychology. The Journal welcomes work that spans disciplines and methods and recruits an editorial team that is especially suited for handling such manuscripts. Empirical reports are the core of the Journal, but methodological and theoretical reports relevant to biological psychology are encouraged (see list of article types for more information).
