Technical Services Quarterly is dedicated to providing a forum for the presentation of current developments and future trends concerning the technical operations of libraries and information centers. The journal aims to keep its readers informed of current developments and future trends in research, developments, and practical implementation of systems and applications of traditional and non-traditional technical services and the public operations they influence and sustain. The journal accepts original research, theoretical, and implementation articles pertaining to technical services, automation, networking, document delivery, information technology, library instruction and information literacy, reference and bibliography, case studies, cost analysis, staffing, space, organizational behavior and leadership, and collection development and management. Each issue also includes the following columns:"Technical Services Report," edited by Barry B. Baker, discusses the latest developments in library technical operations with in-depth reports from individuals attending workshops and conferences. "Tech Services on the Web,8221; edited by Marta Deyrup, provides qualitative descriptions and evaluations of the wide variety of library technical-related resources available on the Web."Reviews,8221; edited by Glenda A. Thornton, analyizes the latest software and books available in the field. The journal seeks to increase communication and foster understanding among artists, public and private policymakers, cultural administrators, trustees, patrons, scholars, educators, and lawyers. Diverse disciplinary viewpoints are represented, encompassing aesthetics, economics, history, law, organizational management, political science, and sociology. A broad range of issues are addressed within the journal. Management topics might involve finance, labor relations, fundraising, marketing, or technological impacts; legal topics might include copyright, censorship, or trustee obligations; and cultural topics might involve education, historical preservation, or cultural diversity. The editors encourage writers to submit manuscripts or queries on subjects that fall within the scope outlined above to the managing editor. Articles should address a specific management or legal problem or need. They should be clear, well written, interesting, and free of jargon. Controversial topics are welcomed, but alternative viewpoints should be acknowledged and treated in a responsible manner. The length of an article depends on the subject. Articles should run on the average 258211;30 typewritten pages, including notes and references. ERJ Open Research is a fully open access original research journal, published online by the European Respiratory Society. The journal aims to publish high-quality work in all fields of respiratory science and medicine, covering basic science, clinical translational science and clinical medicine.

The first issue of ANGIOLOGIA was published in 1949 and the Spanish Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery (Sociedad Española de Angiología y Cirugía Vascular) was founded in 1959. The Journal became the official organ of this society in 1980. ANGIOLOGÍA is a bimonthly scientific publication dedicated to the spreading of knowledge and new techniques in the speciality.

Bangladesh Journal of Pharmacology (Bangladesh J Pharmacol) is the peer-reviewed, open access official publication of the Bangladesh Pharmacological Society (BDPS). The printed version is published twice in a year (June and December). In the online version, papers are published immediately after acceptance. The current issue is incomplete.

Bulgarian Cardiology is a peer-reviewed, open access journal first published in 1995 as a scientific body of the Bulgarian Society of Cardiology.

Since its launch the journal has been an important forum of the cardiological community in Bulgaria. Scientific achievements of Bulgarian medical specialists, important practical guidelines of the European Cardiology Society and other scientific publications are published. Learned Publishing is the journal of the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers, published in collaboration with the Society for Scholarly Publishing. The journal is published quarterly in January/April/July/October.

The Journal of Neuroscience is the official journal of the Society for Neuroscience. The Journal publishes papers on a broad range of topics of general interest to those working on the nervous system. The ASME Journal of Heat Transfer disseminates information of permanent interest in the areas of heat and mass transfer. Contributions may consist of results from fundamental research that apply to thermal energy or mass transfer in all fields of mechanical engineering and related disciplines. The ASME Journal of Heat Transfer is complementary to the ASME Journal of Applied Thermal Science and Engineering Applications, which focuses on applications.

The Brazilian Journal of Anesthesiology is the official journal of the Brazilian Anesthesiology Society. It publishes articles classified into the following categories:

Progress in Solid State Chemistry presents a chemical view of the solid state by providing up-to-date critical reviews written by acknowledged authorities in the field. It also publishes surveys of research progress and specialized articles devoted to summarizing particular recent developments. The aim is to address the need brought about by the literature on the chemistry of the solid state being widely dispersed, making it difficult to obtain a broad and unified assessment of the present state of knowledge. Special emphasis is given to relating physical properties and structural chemistry. Whereas structural chemistry at one time was concerned mostly with perfect solids, most activity focused upon understanding of solid properties focuses on imperfections. Biomaterials is an international journal covering the science and clinical application of biomaterials. A biomaterial is now defined as a substance that has been engineered to take a form which, alone or as part of a complex system, is used to direct, by control of interactions with components of living systems, the course of any therapeutic or diagnostic procedure. Business Horizons is the bimonthly journal of the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. The editorial aim is to publish original articles of interest to business academicians and practitioners.
