As the official journal of the Society for Environmental Economics and Policy Studies and the official journal of the East Asian Association of Environmental and Resource Economics, it provides an international forum for debates among diverse disciplines such as environmental economics, environmental policy studies, and related fields. The main purpose of the journal is twofold: to encourage (1) integration of theoretical studies and policy studies on environmental issues and (2) interdisciplinary works of environmental economics, environmental policy studies, and related fields on environmental issues. The journal also welcomes contributions from any discipline as long as they are consistent with the above stated aims and purposes, and encourages interaction beyond the traditional schools of thought. 

New Journal of Botany aims to become the chief forum for communicating the results of botanical studies relating to the vascular plants and charophytes of northern and western Europe. The Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland (BSBI) wants this to be a first-rate, international, scientific journal, and the editorial board is committed to a rapid turnaround of submitted manuscripts. The journal includes not only peer-reviewed papers and short notes, but also reviews and opinion articles.

The scientific scope is broad and includes: phytogeography, floristics, distribution and recording, taxonomy, systematics and evolution, population and conservation biology, including ecological genetics, ecology (especially autecological, physiological and phenological studies), plant/animal interactions, including plant biochemistry where this relates to such. Submissions are also welcomed on the history of botany in the British Isles, especially its development in a European context, as well as topics of a more general botanical nature.

Interpreting serves as a medium for research and debate on all aspects of interpreting, in its various modes, modalities (spoken and signed) and settings (conferences, media, courtroom, healthcare and others). Striving to promote our understanding of the socio-cultural, cognitive and linguistic dimensions of interpreting as an activity and process, the journal covers theoretical and methodological concerns, explores the history and professional ecology of interpreting and its role in society, and addresses current issues in professional practice and training. Interpreting encourages cross-disciplinary inquiry from such fields as anthropology, cognitive science, cultural studies, discourse analysis, language planning, linguistics, neurolinguistics, psychology and sociology, as well as translation studies. Interpreting publishes original articles, reports, discussions and book reviews.

The Japanese Journal of Ophthalmology (JJO) was inaugurated in 1957 as a quarterly journal published in English by the Ophthalmology Department of the University of Tokyo, with the aim of disseminating the achievements of Japanese ophthalmologists worldwide. JJO remains the only Japanese ophthalmology journal published in English. In 1997, the Japanese Ophthalmological Society assumed the responsibility for publishing the Japanese Journal of Ophthalmology as its official English-language publication. Currently the journal is published bimonthly and accepts papers from authors worldwide. JJO has become an international interdisciplinary forum for the publication of basic science and clinical research papers. We encourage authors to submit original papers in all fields of ophthalmology.

Zeitschrift der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Geowissenschaften (ZDGG) is an international peer reviewed journal that accepts papers on research and applied topics in the Earth Sciences. It is published online and in print. One volume, consisting of four issues is published annually. The journal is continously published by German Society of Geosciences (DGG) since its foundation in 1848. It was relaunched in 2005.ZDGG invites the submission of English, German and French language papers from all fields of geology, hydrogeology, paleontology, tectonics, sedimentology, engineering geology and of course environmental geology to name a few. The editors of ZDGG also invite suggestions for thematic issues.Manuscripts submitted for publication should advance our understanding of fundamental geological, hydrogeological, tectonic and sedimentological processes or conditions or deal with novel approaches to applied problems. All manuscripts are subject to peer review.

The Journal of Biorheology, the official journal of the Japanese Society of Biorheology, is an international journal covering the science and application of the deformation and flow properties of biological materials, including food materials. The aim of the journal is to provide a peer-reviewed forum for the publication of original papers and authoritative review papers dealing with the dynamics of physiological processes at all levels of organization, from organs to the molecular level. The scope of the journal covers the basic science and its applications in the broad field of biorheology: the rheology of macromolecules, cell rheology, tissue and organ rheology, and food rheology. The Journal of Biorheology accepts original articles, brief communications, and review articles. The editors encourage the submission of biorheological analysis of pathological processes and their clinical implications, including basic clinical research on hemodynamics and hemorheology. ACS Chemical Biology provides an international forum for the rapid communication of research that broadly embraces the interface between chemistry and biology.

The journal also serves as a forum to facilitate the communication between biologists and chemists that will translate into new research opportunities and discoveries. Results will be published in which molecular reasoning has been used to probe questions through in vitro investigations, cell biological methods, or organismic studies.

Al-Masaq: Journal of the Medieval Mediterranean is an international journal covering all aspects of Mediterranean culture from the fifth to the fifteenth centuries CE. It is concerned with fostering interdisciplinary and cross-cultural investigation of the Mediterranean region, creating a forum of ideas, encouraging debate on the intercommunal and transnational crosspollination within the Mediterranean, and promoting innovatory research. La Radiologia Medica, founded in 1914, is a peer-reviewed journal intended as a medium for the communication of results and developments in the field of radiology, particularly on advances in diagnostic imaging and its allied sciences. Annals of Biomedical Engineering is an interdisciplinary, international journal which presents original and review articles in the major fields of bioengineering and biomedical engineering.A major aim of bioengineering is to provide integrated approaches to the solutions of biological and biomedical problems. The philosophy is to provide engineering approaches to enhance the power of the scientific method, and to maintain a balance between experimental observation and quantitative analyses. While the development of theory and of mathematical models is strongly endorsed, these should be evaluated wherever possible using biological data from experiments that test specific hypotheses.
