The mandate of the Journal of Canadian Studies / Revue d'études canadiennes is first, to publish the best scholarship about Canadian history, culture and society, whether the researcher is junior or senior, living in Canada or abroad; and second, to serve as a vehicle for disseminating solid, original research about Canada that falls between the cracks of more narrowly defined journals.

A British Ecological Society journal, the Journal of Ecology publishes original research papers on all aspects of the ecology of plants (including algae), in both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.

Journal of Nematology is the official technical and scientific communication publication of the Society of Nematologists since 1969. The journal publishes original papers on all aspects of basic, applied, descriptive, theoretical or experimental nematology and adheres to strict peer-review policy. This special issue, devoted to diffractive optics, is loosely associated with EOS Topical Meeting on Diffractive Optics organized in Koli, Finland, in February 2010. Physics of Plasmas, published by the American Institute of Physics with the cooperation of The American Physical Society, Division of Plasma Physics, is devoted to original experimental and theoretical contributions to the physics of plasmas. Content is published online daily, collected into monthly online and printed issues (12 issues per year).

PhytoFrontiers™ launched in mid-2020. As a gold open access journal, it is an ideal place for authors who elect or are required to publish open access. With its broad plant health scope, PhytoFrontiers is a new venue for those who wish to publish research that was previously out of scope of the existing APS journals. As the journal strives to publish all rigorous research regardless of impact, PhytoFrontiers also provides space for plant pathologists to publish negative results or results perceived as having no impact.

The Polarforschung journal aims to publish scientific results from all polar-related disciplines. Revista Portuguesa de Pneumologia is the official journal of the Portuguese Society of Pulmonology (Sociedade Portuguesa de Pneumologia/SPP).
