The American Journal of Hospice & Palliative Medicine a peer reviewed journal, considers articles in the related fields of hospice and palliative medicine which are scientifically sound and clinically relevant. The aim of the Journal is the dissemination of medical science to broaden education and advance understanding of the complex issues encountered in these areas. Articles related to multidisciplinary care, end of life issues, pain and symptom management psychosocial aspects, quality of care, and the like are appropriate for the Journal. The Annals of Indian Academy of Neurology-AIAN (ISSN 0972-2327) is the official journal of the Indian Academy of Neurology. Our aim is to serve as a medium for dissemination of information and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in neurosciences. The journal is published Quarterly. We accept for publication, manuscripts that were not published earlier or are under simultaneous consideration by another journal. The publication of the material as an abstract of conference proceedings is exempted. We follow the broad guidelines for good publications practice brought out by the Committee On Publication Ethics (COPE) and recommendations of World Association of Medical Editors (WAME). The Editorial Board shall scrutinize each article submitted to the journal and shall submit it to peer review.

Applied and Environmental Microbiology® publishes study results that make significant contributions to applied microbial research, basic microbial ecology research, and genetic and molecular investigations of microbial topics of practical value. The journal sheds new light on key microbiological principles, fundamental microbial processes, and basic questions in applied and environmental microbiology.

Australian Systematic Botany considers papers and critical reviews that aim to advance systematic botany and related aspects of biogeography and evolution of all plant groups, including fossils. Descriptive taxonomic papers should normally constitute a comprehensive treatment of group. Short papers on individual species and nomenclatural papers must contain significant new information of broader interest to be considered. Papers dealing with groups of unrelated species or miscellaneous collections of species are not considered. Numbered series of papers are discouraged. The prestigious L.A.S. Johnson Review Series is published. Other review articles will also be considered.

BIOLOGY OF SPORT publishes reports of methodological and experimental work on science of sport, natural sciences, medicine and pharmacology, technical siences, biocybernetics and application of statistics and psychology, with priority for inter-discyplinary papers. Brief reviews of monographic papers on problems of sport, information on recent developments in research equipment and training aids, are also published. Papers are invided from researchers, coaches and all authors engaged in problems of trining effects, selection in sport as well as biological and social effects of athletic activity durning various periods of man's ontogenetic development.

BMJ Open Diabetes Research & Care is an open access journal committed to publishing high-quality basic and clinical research articles regarding type 1 and type 2 diabetes and associated complications. Critical Reviews in Toxicology provides up-to-date, objective analyses of topics related to the mechanisms of action, responses, and assessment of health risks due to toxicant exposure. The journal publishes critical, comprehensive reviews of research findings in toxicology and the application of toxicological information in assessing human health hazards and risks. Geospatial Health is the official journal of the Global Network of Geospatial Health (www.GnosisGIS.org) which was founded as the result at a Team Residency at the Rockefeller Foundation's Study and Conference Center Bellagio (Italy), April 10-14, 2000. The focus of the journal is on all aspects of the application of geographic information systems, remote sensing and other spatial analysis tools in human and veterinary health.
