ENVIRONMENTAL EPIDEMIOLOGY’s mission is to publish high-quality epidemiologic research and methodologic innovations in environmental epidemiology, with emphasis on health effects related to the chemical, physical, biological and? social environment, climate change, and the built environment. These papers should educate and inform readers, influence policy, and improve public health.
IJDRBE is a CIB-encouraged journal that promotes research examining the role of building and construction to anticipate and respond to unexpected events that damage or destroy the built environment.
Energy & Environmental Science is an international journal dedicated to publishing exceptionally important and high quality, agenda-setting research tackling the key global and societal challenges of ensuring the provision of energy and protecting our environment for the future. The scope is intentionally broad and the journal recognises the complexity of issues and challenges relating to energy conversion and storage, alternative fuel technologies and environmental science. For work to be published it must be linked to the energy-environment nexus and be of significant general interest to our community-spanning readership. All scales of studies and analysis, from impactful fundamental advances, to interdisciplinary research across the (bio)chemical, (bio/geo)physical sciences and chemical engineering disciplines are welcomed.
Environmental Progress & Sustainable Energy is a quarterly publication of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers reporting on critical issues of the environment, including remediation and treatment of solid or aqueous wastes, air pollution, sustainability, and sustainable energy. Each issue helps engineers and scientists stay on top of technological advances in all areas associated with the environment through peer-reviewed technical manuscripts, updates, book and software reviews, and editorials. With an emphasis on applications, topics covered include:
The existence of ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment reflects the rapid growth of ecological literary criticism and environmental scholarship in related disciplines in the United States and around the world in recent years, which in turn reflects the steady increase in the production of environmental literature over the past several decades and the increased visibility of such writing in college classrooms.ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment seeks to encourage such scholarship, writing, and teaching, while facilitating the development of a theoretical foundation for these activities. It also seeks to bridge the gaps between scholars, artists, students, and the public.
Future Oncology takes a forward-looking stance toward the scientific and clinical issues, together with the economic and policy issues that confront us in a new era of cancer care. The journal includes news and views, literature awareness regarding new biomarkers, concise commentary and analysis, reports from the conference circuit and full review articles. Accessible ‘at-a-glance’ formats are important in an increasingly time-constrained clinical community. The article structure has been optimized to make information immediately understandable and accessible.
The Journal of Failure Analysis and Prevention (JFAP) is written for and read by individuals involved in failure analysis, materials scientists, and mechanical, manufacturing, aeronautical, civil, chemical, corrosion, and design engineers. The publication is unique in that it contains current news and technical articles, as well as archival peer-reviewed papers and reviews. JFAP provides information gathering techniques, technical analysis, and emerging tools that will assist failure analysis professionals in determining the cause of failures and eliminating failures in the future. Articles demonstrate the importance of failure analysis to product/performance improvements and industrial problem solving. JFAP is intended to be of interest to both the experienced and less experienced failure analysis practitioner with a focus on shared interest across the industries. Bi-monthly periodical for the failure analyst. Provides practical information for determining the cause of failures and eliminating future failures. Highlights information-gathering techniques, technical analysis and emerging tools to assist the future analyst. Peer-reviewed articles demonstrate the important of failure analysis, product/performance improvement and industrial problem solving. Written for the experienced and less experienced failure analysis practitioner.
The Annual Review of Environment and Resources, in publication since 1976, provides authoritative reviews of significant topics within environmental science and engineering, including ecology and conservation science, water and energy resources, atmosphere, oceans, climate change, agriculture and living resources, and human dimensions of resource use and global change.
Geo is a fully open access international journal publishing original articles from across the spectrum of geographical and environmental research. Keywords: geography, environment, knowledge production
The scope of the journal is broad, including fundamental concepts in geomechanics and mechanics of porous media, the experiments and analysis of novel phenomena and applications. Of special interest are issues resulting from coupling of particular physics, chemistry and biology of external forcings, as well as of pore fluid/gas and minerals to the solid mechanics of the medium skeleton and pore fluid mechanics. The multi-scale and inter-scale interactions between the phenomena and the behavior representations are also of particular interest. Contributions to general theoretical approach to these issues, but of potential reference to geomechanics in its context of energy and the environment are also most welcome.
The purpose of the Journal is to foster scientific understanding of various processes in geomaterials, both induced by technology and natural, and their relationship to the underlying mechanisms. The intrinsic nature of coupling of chemical, biological, thermal and mechanical properties, variables and fields distinguishes the related problems from those in classical geomechanics. Thus, emphasis is placed on the development and fusion of fundamental concepts in mechanics, physics, geochemistry and geo-biology and applications of such concepts to novel technologies related to geological energy production and storage as well as to the prevention of the damage to the environment, in which solid and fluid mechanics of geomaterials is of relevance.
