Social work as an academic discipline was reintroduced to universities in the Chinese mainland in the 1980s. The number of universities offering social work programs has increased drastically in the past two decades. Social services provided by government organizations and NGOs have also proliferated as a response to rising social problems and needs. China Journal of Social Work (CJSW) is the first academic English journal jointly edited from Hong Kong and mainland China, to focus on social work development taking place in China. CJSW is an international peer-reviewed journal published by the Taylor and Francis Group, in collaboration with Peking University - The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China Social Work Research Centre. The journal endeavours to provide a platform for scholars within and outside mainland China to share research, teaching and practice experiences and to facilitate critical dialogue between Chinese social workers and their international peers.The journal welcomes submissions from all areas of social work theory and practice, social work education, social development, and social policy in the Chinese context. Acta Ecologica Sinica - International Journal  is a monthly journal authorized by the China Association for Science and Technology, undertaken by the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, CAS and sponsored by the Ecological Society of China.

Acta Ecologica Sinica is the only comprehensive journal in China devoted to ecology and its sub-disciplines. It relies on and unites ecological scientists in China with the aim of publishing papers on innovative experimental work. Published papers should bear the characteristics of combined ecological research frontiers and clear national benefits, unveiling mechanisms of the interactions between life and environment, and promoting the development of ecological science in China. The journal represents the standards of ecological research in China and is one of the highest impact journals.

According to "China Science and Technology Journals Citation Report", the impact factor of Acta Ecologica Sinica is 1.414, ranking number 31 among all the academic journals in China; total citations are 3614, ranking 5 among all the academic journals in China. In the last five years, Acta Ecologica Sinica has been one of the top journals in the category of biological science in terms of total citation and impact factor, and was awarded as one of the "Hundred outstanding Journals".

Acta Ecologica Sinica has been awarded several times including the first-class award from the http://english.cas.cn/Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2000, the second-class award from http://english.cast.org.cn/ Chinese Association of Sci. & Tech. in 2002, the second-class award of National Journal Award, and was listed among the 100 key journals in China at the second national journal show.

This journal publishes papers on animal ecology, plant ecology, microbial ecology, agro-ecology, forestry ecology, grassland ecology, soil ecology, ocean and aquatic ecosystems, landscape ecology, chemical ecology, contaminant ecology, urban and human ecology. The Journal of International Food & Agribusiness Marketing is a timely journal that serves as a forum for the exchange and dissemination of food and agribusiness marketing knowledge and experiences on an international scale. Journal of Natural Resources Policy Research publishes original policy-oriented papers addressing a broad range of natural resource fields including water, minerals, energy, fisheries, and forestry in a synthesizing fashion, rather than as stand-alone specialty areas. It will also publish papers on the natural resource implications of climate change, natural disasters, and biodiversity loss, among others. The papers, ideally, will be based on both conceptual and empirical studies and will be primarily policy-focused. Our goal is to foster productive dialog among the disparate sectors in the broad field of natural resources and among various social science perspectives leading to an improved understanding of institutional and economic dynamics and informed policy making.This is a largely social-sciences-focused journal including such fields as economics, sociology, geography, political science, anthropology, public administration, ethics and other disciplines relevant to the crafting of efficient, equitable and sustainable natural resources policies. The Journal of Peasant Studies is increasing to 5 issues per volume from 2011 The Journal of Peasant Studies is one of the leading journals in the field of rural development. It was founded on the initiative of Terence J. Byres and its first editors were Byres, Charles Curwen and Teodor Shanin. It provokes and promotes critical thinking about social structures, institutions, actors and processes of change in and in relation to the rural world. It encourages inquiry into how agrarian power relations between classes and other social groups are created, understood, contested and transformed. The Journal pays special attention to questions of 'agency' of marginalized groups in agrarian societies, particularly their autonomy and capacity to interpret - and change - their conditions. The Journal promotes contributions that question mainstream prescriptions or interrogate orthodoxies in radical thinking. It welcomes contributions that explore theoretical, policy and political alternatives. The Journal encourages contributions about a wide range of contemporary and historical questions and perspectives related to rural development. These are issues that confront peasants, farmers, rural labourers, migrant workers, indigenous peoples, forest dwellers, pastoralists, fisherfolk and rural youth - both female and male - in different parts of the world. The editor welcomes contributions from scholars in the fields of political science, development studies, anthropology, sociology, geography, history, economics, law, cultural studies, gender studies, environmental studies, and interdisciplinary fields. There are three sections in the Journal: Articles, Grassroots Voices, and Reviews Section. Survey articles are encouraged and special issues are published occasionally. The Krishna Bharadwaj Prize and the Eric Wolf Prize From 2009 the Krishna Bharadwaj & Eric Wolf prize will be awarded once every two years for an outstanding article published in The Journal of Peasant Studies (JPS) by a 'young scholar'. A young scholar is someone who is either a graduate student or a scholar who has held a PhD degree for no longer than four years when the article was first submitted to the journal. An article jointly authored by a young and a senior scholar qualifies. The award commemorates two long-standing and distinguished members of the Editorial Advisory Board of JPS: the political economist Krishna Bharadwaj (1935-92) and the anthropologist Eric Wolf (1923-99). All articles, except for Notes and Communications, published in the relevant volumes are eligible. Analytical creativity and originality is the basis for the awards. “Acta Haematologica Polonica” (AHP) is a peer-reviewed, English language, gold open-access journal. It is the official bimonthly of the Polish Society of Haematologists and Transfusiologists as well as the Institute of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine.
