The International Journal of Legal Medicine aims to improve the scientific resources used in the elucidation of crime and related forensic applications at a high level of evidential proof. The journal offers review articles tracing development in specific areas, with up-to-date analysis; original articles discussing significant recent research results; case reports describing interesting and exceptional examples; population data; letters to the editors; and technical notes, which appear in a section originally created for rapid publication of data in the dynamic field of DNA analysis.This is the official publication of the International Academy of Legal Medicine.

The International Journal of Lexicography was launched in 1988 by EURALEX, the European Association for Lexicography. Interdisciplinary as well as international, it is concerned with all aspects of lexicography, including issues of design, compilation and use, and with dictionaries of all languages, though the chief focus is on dictionaries of the major European languages - monolingual and bilingual, synchronic and diachronic, pedagogical and encyclopedic. The Journal recognizes the vital role of lexicographical theory and research, and of developments in related fields such as computational linguistics, and welcomes contributions in these areas. IJL will include a regular feature on some practical aspect of dictionary-making and will publish, also on a regular basis, reviews of dictionaries and books reflecting the full range of the Journal's interests.

The journal Izvestiya, Atmospheric and Oceanic Physics publishes original scientific research and review articles on vital issues in the physics of the earth’s atmosphere and hydrosphere, and climate theory. The journal throws light on recent investigations into physical processes in the atmosphere and ocean that control climate, weather, and their changes, which have possible practical applications. JMIR Pediatrics and Parenting (JPP) is a new journal of JMIR Publications. JPP has a unique focus on technologies, medical devices, apps, engineering, informatics applications for patient/parent education, training, counselling, behavioral interventions, preventative interventions and clinical care for pediatric and adolescent populations or child-parent dyads. JPP recognizes the role of patient- and parent-centered approaches in the 21st century using information and communication technologies to optimize pediatric and adolescent health outcomes.

As an open access journal, we are read by clinicians, patients, and parents/caregivers alike. We, as all journals published by JMIR Publications, have a focus on applied science reporting the design and evaluation of health innovations and emerging technologies. We publish original research, viewpoints, and reviews (both literature reviews and medical device/technology/app reviews). The journal is indexed in PMC and PubMed. JPP has no submission fee. 

The Journal of African American Studies publishes original research on topics of professional and disciplinary concern for the social progress of people of African descent. The Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics publishes papers in which combinatorics and algebra interact in a significant and interesting fashion. The Journal of Ancient Near Eastern Religions (JANER) focuses on the religions of the Ancient Near East: Egypt, Mesopotamia, Syria-Palestine, and Anatolia, as well as adjacent areas under their cultural influence, from prehistory through the beginning of the common era. JANER defines Ancient Near Eastern civilization broadly as including not only the Biblical, Hellenistic and Roman world but also the impact of Near Eastern religions on the western Mediterranean. JANER is the only peer-refereed journal specifically and exclusively addressing this range of topics, and is intended to provide an international scholarly forum for studies on all aspects of ancient religions. JANER welcomes submissions that introduce new evidence, revise old understandings, and advance debates on ancient Near Eastern ideas and practices of the otherworldly.

The Journal of Animal Physiology and Animal Nutrition publishes original papers on research in the fields of animal physiology, physiology and biochemistry of nutrition, animal nutrition, feed technology, and feed preservation. The journal is a forum for presenting articles on basic and applied research, thus making new findings, methods, and techniques easily accessible and applicable in practice. Reviews of the most important specialized literature are also included. A supplemental series Advances in Animal Physiology and Animal Nutrition is published at irregular intervals. Zeitschrift der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Geowissenschaften (ZDGG) is an international peer reviewed journal that accepts papers on research and applied topics in the Earth Sciences. It is published online and in print. One volume, consisting of four issues is published annually. The journal is continously published by German Society of Geosciences (DGG) since its foundation in 1848. It was relaunched in 2005.ZDGG invites the submission of English, German and French language papers from all fields of geology, hydrogeology, paleontology, tectonics, sedimentology, engineering geology and of course environmental geology to name a few. The editors of ZDGG also invite suggestions for thematic issues.Manuscripts submitted for publication should advance our understanding of fundamental geological, hydrogeological, tectonic and sedimentological processes or conditions or deal with novel approaches to applied problems. All manuscripts are subject to peer review.

Many research topics in condensed matter research, materials science and the life sciences make use of crystallographic methods to study crystalline and non-crystalline matter with neutrons, X-rays and electrons. Articles published in the Journal of Applied Crystallography focus on these methods and their use in identifying structural and diffusion-controlled phase transformations, structure-property relationships, structural changes of defects, interfaces and surfaces, etc. Developments of instrumentation and crystallographic apparatus, theory and interpretation, numerical analysis and other related subjects are also covered. The journal is the primary place where crystallographic computer program information is published.

The Journal of Atmospheric Chemistry is devoted to the study of the chemistry of the Earth's atmosphere, with particular emphasis on the region below about 100 km. The strongly interdisciplinary nature of atmospheric chemistry means that it embraces a great variety of sciences, but the journal concentrates on such topics as: Observational, interpretative and modeling studies of the composition of air and precipitation and the physiochemical processes in the Earth's atmosphere, excluding air pollution problems of local importance only; the role of the atmosphere in biogeochemical cycles; the chemical interaction of the oceans, land surface and biosphere with the atmosphere; laboratory studies of the mechanics in homogeneous and heterogeneous transformation processes in the atmosphere; descriptions of major advances in instrumentation developed for the measurement of atmospheric composition and chemical properties.

The Journal of Bioethical Inquiry is a forum for discussing and debating ethical, cultural and social issues arising in medicine, the health sciences and health care in general.
