JTCM focuses on both Eastern and Western complementary medicine and welcomes articles from all medical perspectives. JTCM encourages submissions which present observation and experimental investigation in translational and clinical studies, animal experiments, and in vivo/in vitro studies. Particular emphasis is given to the pathophysiological basis and the cellular-molecular mechanisms that underlie the beneficial effects of Traditional and Complementary Medicine.

The Journal of Zoology publishes high-quality research papers that are original and are of broad interest. The Editors seek studies that are hypothesis-driven and interdisciplinary in nature. Papers on animal behaviour, ecology, physiology, anatomy, developmental biology, evolution, systematics, genetics and genomics will be considered; research that explores the interface between these disciplines is strongly encouraged. Studies dealing with geographically and/or taxonomically restricted topics should test general hypotheses, describe novel findings or have broad implications. The Journal of Zoology aims to maintain an effective but fair peer-review process that recognises research quality as a combination of the relevance, approach and execution of a research study. The journal also welcomes reviews and forum papers on current issues, particularly where topics of a complex or poorly understood field are synthesized. Prospective authors should submit a 300-word abstract, a list of up to 20 key references, and a cover letter (two pages maximum) outlining what will be discussed in the article. Proposals for reviews should be submitted to journalofzoology@zsl.org. The submission of completed review manuscripts without prior consultation with the Editor is discouraged. The Journal of Zoology is a member of and subscribes to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics. Papers that report experimental work must comply with the standards laid down by British national or equivalent legislation and the research permit number must be stated in the acknowledgments section of your manuscript.

The journal Metallography, Microstructure, and Analysis publishes original, peer-reviewed research articles on engineered materials, which are defined as both processed and inorganic. The journal focuses on the art and science of preparing, interpreting, and analyzing microstructures for the purpose of understanding material behavior and performance, and serves as a forum for engineers and scientists to exchange the latest information regarding the evolution of microstructures in a variety of materials. 

Topics focus on the role of microstructure in engineering processes and materials properties. Specifically, the journal publishes contributions that discuss the ways in which microstructures can influence, or arise from:  

1) Mechanical and thermal processing of metals, alloys, and ceramics  2) Environmental degradation (such as oxidation and corrosion)3) Welding, casting, and solidification processes4) Additive or digital manufacturing techniques 5) Failure of engineering structures, and6) Electronic materials.

In addition to these general topics, the journal covers a wide range of more specialized materials science and metallurgy issues, such as the characterization of building materials, archaeometallurgy, high-strain-rate phenomena, tribological surfaces and interfaces, superplasticity, and radiation effects. Also of interest are new and alternative techniques for microstructural examination and analysis (including metallography, ceramography, and microscopy), computer-aided microstructural analysis, and techniques for physical and chemical analysis as they relate to microstructure.

Contributions that present a complete treatment of a microstructure, from its formation to preparation techniques to interpretation and analysis, are especially of interest to the journal.

Founded in 1971, Philosophia is a much-respected journal that has provided a platform to many well-known philosophers, including Kenneth Arrow, A.J. Strawson, and many others. Philosophia also published papers of Ludwig Wittgenstein and Rudolf Carnap. Philosophia is an international journal in scope, submissions and readership. The journal publishes contributions fitting within various philosophical traditions, but manifests a preference of the analytic tradition in the broad sense of commitment to clarity and responsibility. Besides papers in the traditional subfields of philosophy and its history, Philosophia also publishes work on topical subjects such as racism, silence of God, terrorism, the nature of philosophy, emotion, AIDS, scientific discovery, punishment, modality, and institutional theory of art. Philosophia welcomes a wide range of contributions to academic philosophy, covering all fields of philosophy. Contributions to the journal may take the form of topical papers, philosophical surveys of literature, symposia papers, short discussion notes, puzzles, profiles, book reviews and more extensive critical studies of new books. Precision Engineering - Journal of the International Societies for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology is devoted to the multidisciplinary study and practice of high accuracy engineering, metrology, and manufacturing. The journal takes an integrated approach to all subjects related to research, design, manufacture, performance validation, and application of high precision machines, instruments, and components, including fundamental and applied research and development in manufacturing processes, fabrication technology, and advanced measurement science. The scope includes precision-engineered systems and supporting metrology over the full range of length scales, from atom-based nanotechnology and advanced lithographic technology to large-scale systems, including optical and radio telescopes and macrometrology.Precision Engineering was first published in January 1979; since 1986 it has also been known to many of its readers as the Journal of the American Society of Precision Engineering. Acta Linguistica Hafniensia evolved as the voice of the Linguistic Circle of Copenhagen. Our aim today is both to carry forward that tradition, emphasizing areas such as functional linguistics, cognitive linguistics, and sociolinguistics, but also phonology and formal linguistics, in all of which vigorous research is being carried out by Danish linguists, while at the same time expanding the international scope of the journal as a broad journal of General Linguistics. One of the ways in which we seek to pursue this dual aim is to alternate regular issues of the journal with thematic issues based on workshops organized by the Linguistic Circle in which articles by both Danish and international participants are presented on related subjects.
