The International Journal for the Semiotics of Law is an independent entity and the leading international journal in legal semiotics The Journal was first published in 1987. The International Journal for the Semiotics of Law welcomes submissions, in English or in French, which include semiotic analyses of the law. Submissions to The International Journal for the Semiotics of Law should ideally critique, apply or otherwise engage with semiotics or related theory and models of analyses, or with rhetoric, history of political and legal discourses, philosophy of language, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, deconstruction and all types of semiotics analyses including visual semiotics. Submissions which reflect on legal philosophy or legal theory in general, hermeneutics, the relation between psychoanalysis and language, the relation between law and literature, as well as the relation between law and aesthetics, will also be considered. The journal has a long standing association with the International Roundtables for the Semiotics of Law (IRSL) and publishes an annual special issue dedicated to the Roundtable. It will also consider proposals for one other special issue per annum. All inquiries relating to special issues should be directed to the Editor-in-Chief. The Journal of Creativity in Mental Health, the official journal of the Association for Creativity in Counseling, a division of the American Counseling Association, is the valuable interdisciplinary reference source for academics and therapeutic practitioners. This refereed journal examines the practical applications of using creativity to help deepen self-awareness and build healthy relationships. This journal also explores how creative, diverse, and relational therapeutic approaches can be used in counseling practice. Each issue of the Journal of Creativity in Mental Health provides a wide range of interdisciplinary discussion relative to diverse mental health issues. The journal incorporates high-quality empirical research with cogent in-depth discussion and addresses the topics in both qualitative and quantitative language. The Journal of Mental Health Research in Intellectual Disabilities, the official research journal of NADD, is an interdisciplinary research journal with the purpose of reporting original scientific and scholarly contributions to advance knowledge about mental health issues among persons with intellectual disabilities. The journal will address issues related to the full range of psychopathology among persons with intellectual disabilities (mental retardation), neuro-developmental disorders and autism spectrum disorders, including severe behavior problems, criminality, substance abuse, and genetic phenotypes across the life span. The journal seeks to publish contributions with an emphasis on empirically based research and will include research on characteristics of persons with intellectual and mental health problems; risk and protective factors related to the development and/or prevention of mental health problems in persons with intellectual disabilities; development of screening and diagnostic instruments; effectiveness of behavioral, psychosocial and pharmacological treatment procedures (including group and single subject designs); critical or comparative literature reviews, including quantitative meta-analyses. Occasional conceptual reviews that provide for new understanding of theory or theoretical constructs will also be considered.
