Applied Mathematics and Mechanics is the English version of a journal on applied mathematics and mechanics published in the People's Republic of China. It is a comprehensive journal presenting original research papers on mechanics, mathematical methods in mechanics as well as applied mathematics relevant to neoteric mechanics.The Editorial Committee, headed by Professor Zhe-wei ZHOU, consists of scientists in the fields of applied mathematics and mechanics all over the world.Founded by Professor Wei-zang CHIEN in May 1980 as a quarterly, Applied Mathematics and Mechanics became a bimonthly in 1981 and then a monthly in 1985.
Applied Vegetation Science is administratively linked to the Journal of Vegetation Science. It accepts original papers (including shorter ones), reviews, forum contributions and reports. It commissions reviews of selected books. Applied fields covered by the journal include human impact on vegetation, particularly eutrophication and global change, nature conservation, nature management, restoration of plant communities and habitats of threatened plant species, and the planning of semi-natural and urban landscapes.
