The International Commission on Radiological Protection was founded in 1928 to advance for the public benefit the science of radiological protection. The ICRP provides recommendations and guidance on protection against the risks associated with ionising radiation, from artificial sources as widely used in medicine, general industry and nuclear enterprises, and from naturally occurring sources. These reports and recommendations are published six times each year on behalf of the ICRP as the journal Annals of the ICRP. Each issue provides in-depth coverage of a specific subject area.Subscribers to the journal receive each new report as soon as it appears so that they are kept up to date on the latest developments in this important field. While many subscribers prefer to acquire a complete set of ICRP reports and recommendations, single issues of the journal are also available separately for those individuals and organisations needing a single report covering their field of interest. Applied Geomatics (AG) is the official journal of SIFET the Italian Society of Photogrammetry and Topography and covers all aspects and information on scientific and technical advances in the geomatic sciences. Aquatic Conservation: Marine and Freshwater Ecosystems is an international journal dedicated to publishing original papers that relate specifically to freshwater, brackish or marine habitats and encouraging work that spans these ecosystems. This journal provides a forum in which all aspects of the conservation of aquatic biological resources can be presented and discussed, enabling greater cooperation and efficiency in solving problems in aquatic resource conservation. The publication of both practical studies in conservation as well as theoretical considerations of the underlying principles is encouraged. Atmospheric Science Letters (ASL) is a wholly electronic journal. Its aim is to provide a fully peer reviewed publication route for new shorter contributions in the field of atmospheric and closely related sciences. Bangladesh is a humid, subtropical country favouring luxuriant growth of microorganisms, fungi and plants from algae to angiosperms with rich diversity. She has the largest mangrove forest of the world in addition to diverse hilly and wetland habitats. More than a century back, foreign explorers endeavoured several floral expeditions, but little was done for non-vasculars and pteridophytes. In recent times, Bangladesh National Herbarium has been carrying out taxonomic research in Bangladesh along with few other national institutes (e.g. Department of Botany of public universities and Bangladesh Forest Research Institute). But, a complete inventory is yet to be accomplished. Moreover, the novel and applied branches of plant taxonomy are still emerging in Bangladesh with great potentials. There are a few peer-reviewed journals published from Bangladesh related to plant sciences (e.g. Bangladesh Journal of Botany) which are open to all branches of Botany including plant taxonomy. Because of page restrictions, they only publish small taxonomic papers and are not enough to meet the growing needs of native plant taxonomists. Moreover, there is no journal dedicated to ethnobotanical studies or plant conservation issues including review articles.

Bioresource Technology Reports is an online-only rapid-publication journal focused on the fundamentals, applications and management of bioresource technology. Like its sister journal, Bioresource Technology, Bioresource Technology Reports' mission is to advance and disseminate knowledge in all the related areas of bioenergy, biotransformations and bioresource systems analysis, and technologies associated with conversion or production.

Bioresource Technology Reports publishes original articles, review articles, case studies and short communications. Alongside welcoming direct submissions, the journal will benefit from an Article Transfer Service which will allow the author(s) to transfer their manuscript online from Bioresource Technology thus saving authors time and effort spent on formatting and resubmitting. Papers may be suggested for transfer from Bioresource Technology to Bioresource Technology Reportsif they have a very strong applied element or are more focussed on a particular area. Bioresource Technology Reports will also be more considerate of papers with preliminary findings at an earlier stage of the research cycle, but these papers must be considered important for the scientific literature, to improve the replicability and scalability of the fundamental research.

BJUI is constantly innovating to provide the urology community with a journal that is fresh in appearance and is easy to read. California Archaeology publishes original papers on the archaeology of Alta California, Baja California, and adjoining regions (southern Oregon, western Nevada and Arizona). The journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge of California’s past and it will consider manuscripts that treat theory, method, and/or empirical findings from either the prehistoric or historic (text-aided) era. Ethnohistoric or ethnographic studies will be considered only if they make explicit connections to or have clear implications for the material record. Paleoenvironmental studies will be considered with the same caveat.

The journal publishes four types of papers: articles that advance theoretical, methodological, and/or empirical knowledge of a major issue in the prehistory or history of California or an adjoining region; reports that present descriptive information on important and/or unusual discoveries; letters, that briefly comment on recently published research (commonly followed by a response); reviews, that briefly evaluate recently published books, DVDs, museum exhibits, or other materials with significant archaeological content.
