The Journal of Child & Adolescent Substance Abuse addresses the treatment of substance abuse in all ages of children. With the growing magnitude of the problem of substance abuse among children and youth, this is an essential forum for the dissemination of descriptive or investigative efforts with this population. The journal serves as a vehicle for communication and dissemination of information to the many practitioners and researchers working with these young people. With this singular mission in mind, the Journal of Child & Adolescent Substance Abuse provides subscribers with one source for obtaining current, useful information regarding state-of-the-art approaches to the strategies and issues in the assessment, prevention, and treatment of adolescent substance abuse. Also, clinical case reports and descriptions of new and innovative evaluation and treatment methods are encouraged. This enables the journal to provide a unique combination of clinical problems, solutions, and research findings to its readers. Because the scope of clinical lipidology is broad, the topics addressed by the Journal are equally diverse. Journal of Molecular Catalysis A: Chemical publishes full papers that are original, rigorous, and scholarly contributions examining the molecular and atomic aspects of catalytic activation and reaction mechanisms in homogeneous catalysis, heterogeneous catalysis (including supported organometallic catalysis) and computational catalysis.The Journal also publishes timely reviews of specialized topics within the scope outlined above, however prospective authors must obtain preliminary approval from the Editor-in-Chief before preparing such an article.Accepted manuscripts of exceptional quality and substantial interest to the readership may be selected by Editors to feature in the 'Editors Choice' section of the Journal.Contributions that do not fall within the above aims and scope will be rejected at the editorial level. Thus, homogeneous systems are ideally characterised by kinetic analysis from which macro- or micro-scopic rate constants can be presented. For heterogeneous catalysis, activity should ideally be expressed in turnover frequencies per site or at least per unit area of active component measured using an appropriate method, such as chemisorption or estimated from the particle size obtained by such techniques as transmission electron microscopy or XRD line-broadening. The objective of the American Journal of Primatology is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and findings among primatologists and to convey our increasing understanding of this order of animals to specialists and interested readers alike. Primatology is an unusual science in that its practitioners work in a wide variety of departments and institutions, live in countries throughout the world, and carry out a vast range of research procedures. Whether we are anthropologists, psychologists, biologists, or medical researchers, whether we live in Japan, Kenya, Brazil, or the United States, whether we conduct naturalistic observations in the field or experiments in the lab, we are united in our goal of better understanding primates. Our studies of nonhuman primates are of interest to scientists in many other disciplines ranging from entomology to sociology. The American Journal of Primatology welcomes for consideration manuscripts from all areas of primatology. This includes but is not limited to the behavioral ecology, conservation, evolutionary biology, life history, demography, paleontology, physiology, endocrinology, genetics, molecular genetics, and psychobiology of the nonhuman primates. As well as publishing in established areas, we seek submissions on new and developing types of primate studies. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews and commentaries. Proposals for special issues on a particular theme are also welcomed, and may be guest edited. The American Journal of Primatology is the official journal of the American Society of Primatologists. Anthropology Southern Africa is the peer-reviewed journal of the Anthropology Southern Africa association. Formerly the Journal of South African Ethnology (1994-2001), the journal changed name and focus in 2002. The journal aims to promote anthropology in Southern Africa, to support ethnographic and theoretical research, and to provide voices to public debates. Anthropology Southern Africa is committed to contemporary perspectives in social and cultural anthropology and in relevant interdisciplinary scholarship. It looks at the current conditions in Southern African, African, and Global societies,   taking into consideration varied challenges such as the politics of difference, or poverty and dignity. The Journal of Behavioral Decision Making is a multidisciplinary journal with a broad base of content and style. It publishes original empirical reports, critical review papers, theoretical analyses and methodological contributions. Such manuscripts will be considered for publication together with a selection of commentaries from members of the editorial board. Reviews are 'collaborationist' in the sense that reviewers are asked to do more than point out flaws and will suggest design improvements, new ideas, relevant references and follow-up studies. Journal of Mathematics in Industry is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It collects worldwide research on mathematical theory and methods applied to problems of modern industry. It brings together research on developments in mathematics for industrial applications, including both methods and the computational challenges they entail. Here, 'industry' is understood as any activity of economic and/or social value. As such, 'mathematics in industry' concerns the field as it actually improves industrial processes and helps to master the major challenges presented by cost and ecological issues. By publishing high-quality, innovative articles, it serves as an essential resource for academic researchers and practitioners alike. At the same time, it provides a common platform for scholars interested in precisely those types of mathematics needed in concrete industrial applications, and articles focusing on the interaction of academia and industry are preferred. In terms of theory, the journal seeks articles with demonstrable mathematical developments motivated by problems of modern industry. With regard to computational aspects, it publishes works introducing new methods and algorithms that represent significant improvements on the existing state of the art of modern numerical and simulations methods. The journal welcomes proposals for special issues on carefully selected topics, reflecting the trends of research and development in the broad area of mathematics in industry.
