Journal Guide

The journal features analysis of individual, business, and government decisions and actions that affect consumers' interests in the marketplace. Contributions from the social and behavioral sciences, consumer sciences, education, communication, social work, business, law, public administration and public policy are welcomed. Research articles, practical applications, and policy commentary all have a place in the journal while remaining clearly distinguished from one another. Research on issues of topical relevance to consumer markets may be of empirical or conceptual design. Insights of extraordinary significance from practice are published in the Applications section of the journal. The Commentary section is devoted to articles that present evidence-based perspectives on issues of importance to consumers.

The Journal of Continuing Education is a quarterly journal publishing articles relevant to theory, practice, and policy development for continuing education in the health sciences. The journal presents original research and essays on subjects involving the lifelong learning of professionals, with a focus on continuous quality improvement, competency assessment, and knowledge translation. It provides thoughtful advice to those who develop, conduct, and evaluate continuing education programs. Issues contain: * Original Research that includes detailed methods, data, analysis, and reporting of implications for research and practice. Articles conclude with Lessons for Practice, summaries of key themes, or recommendations for application of the article's findings. * Innovations in Continuing Education with analysis and commentary exploring contemporary issues in professional healthcare education. * Book Reviews of key publications in healthcare planning, policy, and continuing education.

The Journal of Continuing Higher Education strives to support continuing higher education by serving as a forum for the reporting and exchange of information based on research, observations, and the experience relevant to the field. Scope and subject areas The Journal of Physiology publishes full-length research papers and Rapid Reports of particularly important work that merits accelerated publication. Techniques for Physiology, introduced in 2008, are short papers aimed at disseminating new techniques for physiological research. Articles solicited by the Editorial Board include Perspectives, Symposium Reports and Topical Reviews, which highlight areas of special physiological interest, and Classical Perspectives describing how classic papers published in The Journal have influenced current research. The Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, the official publication for the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma, provides an interdisciplinary forum for the dissemination of peer-reviewed original articles regarding trauma and acute care surgery. Papers focus on the clinical management of trauma, emergency surgery, the molecular biology of traumatic injury, the care of critically ill patients, and legal/policy concerns related to trauma. The Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery serves as a primary reference for professionals who are involved in the scientific and evidence-based care of traumatic and acute injury. The American Fisheries Society (AFS) publishes a suite of journals for aquatic resource professionals.These journals-Transactions of the American Fisheries Society, featuring papers on basic fisheries science; North American Journal of Fisheries Management, covering management research and recommendations; North American Journal of Aquaculture, providing guidance for those who breed and raise aquatic animals; Journal of Aquatic Animal Health, concentrating on health maintenance and disease treatment; and Marine and Coastal Fisheries, an international, open-access online journal devoted to marine, coastal, and estuarine fisheries-are available to individuals, organizations, and libraries worldwide.

Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease (ISSN 2414-6366) is an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, open access journal of tropical medicine and infectious disease published quarterly online by MDPI. It is the official journal of the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine (ACTM) and its Joint Faculties of Travel Medicine and Expedition and Wilderness Medicine.

The Journal of Community Psychology is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to research, evaluation, assessment and intervention, and review articles that deal with human behavior in community settings. The official publication of the North American Patristics Society (NAPS), the Journal of Early Christian Studies focuses on the study of Christianity in the context of late ancient societies and religions from c.e. 100-700.
