JMIR Pediatrics and Parenting (JPP) is a new journal of JMIR Publications. JPP has a unique focus on technologies, medical devices, apps, engineering, informatics applications for patient/parent education, training, counselling, behavioral interventions, preventative interventions and clinical care for pediatric and adolescent populations or child-parent dyads. JPP recognizes the role of patient- and parent-centered approaches in the 21st century using information and communication technologies to optimize pediatric and adolescent health outcomes.

As an open access journal, we are read by clinicians, patients, and parents/caregivers alike. We, as all journals published by JMIR Publications, have a focus on applied science reporting the design and evaluation of health innovations and emerging technologies. We publish original research, viewpoints, and reviews (both literature reviews and medical device/technology/app reviews). The journal is indexed in PMC and PubMed. JPP has no submission fee. 

This is the official journal of the Association of Psychologists in Academic Health Centers (APAHC). It publishes clinical articles that reflect single-case design methodology; literature reviews that serve as a basis for new techniques, heuristic research challenges, or exemplary clinical material; and papers that address philosophical issues surrounding training models at different educational levels. The Journal of Clinical Psychology in Medical Settings is an international forum for the publication of peer-reviewed original papers on both applied and basic research as related to the work of psychologists in medical settings and with all patient groups. Coverage in the journal includes innovative training programs; special course materials; licensing, credentialing, and privileging in hospital practice; ethics; the role of psychologists in medical schools; professional practice matters; practice management; marketing and the politics of health care in general.

Acupuncture in Medicine aims to promote the scientific understanding of acupuncture and related treatments by publishing scientific investigations of their effectiveness and modes of action as well as articles on their use in health services and clinical practice.Acupuncture in Medicine is aimed at Western-trained physicians and other health professionals. The Western understanding of neurophysiology and anatomy is used to interpret the effects of acupuncture. The Journal uses the term 'Western medical acupuncture' and largely restricts its published articles to this Western approach. Evidence-based articles on traditional acupuncture (both clinical and theoretical) will, however, be considered. The editorial board welcomes scientific reports, systematic and general reviews, audits, case reports, descriptive and educational papers and other articles that may be of interest to readers.

American Journal of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, a quarterly, peer reviewed publication and is dedicated for publication of research articles in the field of biology of animals and with the scientific understanding of how animals work: from the physiology and biochemistry of tissues and major organ systems down to the structure and function of bio molecules and cells; particular emphasis would given to the studies of growth, reproduction, nutrition and lactation of farm and companion animals and how these processes may be optimized to improve animal re- productivity, health and welfare. Articles in support areas, such as genetics, soils, agricultural economics and marketing, legal aspects and the environment also are encouraged. AJAVS is an important source of researcher to study articles on protection of animal production practices, herd health and monitoring the spread of disease and prevention in both domestic and wild animals.

The Journal of Sport Psychology in Action is an official publication of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, and is a refereed journal, designed to promote the application of scientific knowledge to the practice of sport, exercise, and health psychology. Topics covered in this journal include interdisciplinary work 8212; drawing from the fields of exercise physiology, sport science, and health psychology 8212; that target knowledge and application for professionals and practitioners. The journal differs from other sport and exercise psychology journals because of the target audience and style of writing. The Journal of Sport Psychology in Action is written for practitioners, coaches, athletes, and individuals from various sport organizations.

The editorial mission of the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation (JSR) is to advance the understanding of all aspects of sport rehabilitation, particularly in the areas of therapeutic exercise, therapeutic modalities, injury evaluation, and the psychological aspects of rehabilitation. JSR publishes original research, systematic reviews/meta-analyses, critically appraised topics (CATs), and case studies/series that directly affect the management and rehabilitation of injuries incurred during sport-related activities, irrespective of the individual’s age, gender, sport ability, level of fitness, or health status. The journal is intended to provide an international, multidisciplinary forum to serve the needs of all members of the sports medicine team, including athletic trainers/therapists, sport physical therapists/physiotherapists, sports medicine physicians, and other health care and medical professionals.

Archives of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology is a repository of significant, peer-reviewed articles describing original experimental or theoretical research work on the scientific aspects of contaminants in the environment. It provides a place for the publication of detailed, definitive and credible reports concerning advances and discoveries in the fields of air, water, and soil contamination and pollution, human health aspects, and in disciplines concerned with the introduction, presence, and effects of deleterious substances in the total environment. Papers accepted for publication in the Archives deal with aspects of environmental contaminants, including those that lie in the domains of analytical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, agricultural, air, water, and soil chemistry. The Journal publishes original research papers, review articles and short communications on studies examining the interactions between living organisms and factors of the natural and artificial atmospheric environment. Living organisms extend from single cell organisms, to plants and animals, including humans. The atmospheric environment includes climate and weather, electromagnetic radiation, and chemical and biological pollutants. The journal embraces basic and applied research and practical aspects such as living conditions, agriculture, forestry, and health. The journal is published for the International Society of Biometeorology, and most membership categories include a subscription to the Journal.

Journal of Radiological Protection publishes articles (in English) on all aspects of radiological protection, including non-ionising as well as ionising radiations. Fields of interest range from research, development and theory to operational matters, education and training. The very wide spectrum of its topics includes: dosimetry, instrument development, specialized measuring techniques, epidemiology, biological effects (in vivo and in vitro) and risk and environmental impact assessments.

The New Zealand Veterinary Journal (NZVJ) is a high-quality peer-reviewed scientific journal. It publishes review articles, original research findings, clinical observations, rapid communications and correspondence covering all aspects of veterinary science, animal welfare, and animal health aspects of animal science. The NZVJ specialises in articles on topics of particular interest and relevance to the New Zealand veterinary profession including pastoral animal health and production, performance horses and infectious disease. However, submissions from all disciplines are welcomed. The NZVJ publishes general scientific articles, reviews, state-of-the-art commentaries, rapid communications, clinical communications, short communications, and correspondence. All scientific papers submitted for publication are independently refereed.

Toxicology Reports is dedicated to all aspects of toxicology research and clinical sciences. The primary criteria for acceptance are that the work is original and scientifically sound.
