JAMA Neurology (formerly Archives of Neurology) is an international peer-reviewed journal for physicians caring for people with neurologic disorders and those interested in the structure and function of the normal and diseased nervous system. The Archives of Neurology & Psychiatry began publication in 1919 and, in 1959, became 2 separate journals: Archives of Neurology and Archives of General Psychiatry. Journal of Biological Rhythms primarily offers papers describing original research into all aspects of biological rhythms. Emphasis is placed on circadian and seasonal rhythms, but papers on other rhythms are also published. In addition to original research papers, the Journal publishes reviews, commentaries, editorials, letters, and other items of interest related to biological rhythms. Research in circadian, seasonal, and other biological rhythms is interdisciplinary. Authors have backgrounds in, and use the approaches of, ecology, neurobiology and behavior, psychology and psychiatry, endocrinology, developmental biology, pharmacology, cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and mathematical modeling. The work presented is relevant to each of these disciplines, and others. Rhythms are placed within the context of the functional significance of these rhythms for the health and well-being of relevant organisms, including humans.Every other month, the Journal presents work at the leading edge of understanding the basic nature, mechanisms, and functions underlying the generation, entrainment, and expression of biological rhythms in plants, animals, and humans.

Journal of Breath Research is dedicated to all aspects of scientific breath research. The traditional focus is on analysis of volatile compounds and aerosols in exhaled breath for the investigation of exogenous exposures, metabolism, toxicology, health status and the diagnosis of disease and breath odours. Journal of Breath Research provides a forum for the presentation and critical evaluation of the different analytical techniques used for analysis of breath samples for medical diagnosis and therapeutic monitoring. These include gas-chromatography with mass-spectrometric detection (GCMS), selected ion flow tube mass spectrometry (SIFT-MS), proton-transfer reaction mass spectrometry (PTR-MS), ion mobility spectroscopy (IMS), laser spectrometry and sensor technology. Appropriate sampling procedures for breath and the interpretation of results from the clinical and physiological viewpoints will be a particular focus.
