ASM Case Reports is a fully open access peer-reviewed journal published by the American Society for Microbiology (ASM). The journal aligns with ASM’s mission, providing a dedicated platform for the highest-quality case reports in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases.

The Journal of Arachnology, a publication devoted to the study of Arachnida, is published three times each year by the American Arachnological Society. Subscriptions accompany society membership or may be purchased by institutions.

The purpose of the Journal of the Belgian Society of Radiology is the publication of articles dealing with diagnostic and interventional radiology, related imaging techniques, allied sciences, and continuing education.

Original work in all branches of chemistry is published in the South African Journal of Chemistry. Contributions in English may take the form of papers, short communications, or critical reviews.

2.       Professional discussions. TCN publishes both invited and unsolicited papers that contribute to the journal’s over-arching goal of establishing (and raising) standards of practice.  These include the following: 

• practice guidelines, consensus statements, and position papers that guide clinicians and clinical educators
• invited opinions, commentaries, or discussions
• book reviews (solicited by the Book Review section editor)

3.       Case studies. The Grand Rounds in Clinical Neuropsychology section of the journal is devoted to single case study presentations of interesting, timely, important, or unusual cases. Cases should be instructive and focus on the contributions that competent neuropsychological assessment make in terms of (a) elucidating brain-behavior relationships, (b) determining the functional status of patients, and (c) instructing intervention, treatment, rehabilitation, education, etc.  Essential elements of a case study submission include the following:

• a well-documented history of the patient
• medical/neurologic/psychiatric findings, and neuroimaging (preferred, but not required )
• detailed results of neuropsychological evaluation
• discussion of differential diagnosis and relevent treatment/management considerations

Astronomy & Astrophysics is an international Journal which publishes papers on all aspects of astronomy and astrophysics (theoretical, observational, and instrumental) independently of the techniques used to obtain the results.The journal is published by EDP Sciences. A paper edition is produced as well as a parallel electronic (on-line) edition.Institutions and private individuals can subscribe to A&A.Access to the on-line version of the journal is defined by IP number. Access is free to subscribers of the journal. A username and password are not required.Part of the material accepted for publication will be published only in electronic form. This holds, in general, for larger appendices, large amounts of similar figures, large tables, and the like. New Member-Countries can be admitted upon fulfilling certain criteria.The journal is governed by the Board of Directors, whose members are designated by the Member Countries. The Board decides on the policies for A&A which include the general guidelines for publishing, the selection of the Editors, the various financial aspects, as well as the membership of countries. .

Aims and Scope The Canadian Journal of Statistics is the official journal of the Statistical Society of Canada. It has a reputation internationally as an excellent journal. The editorial board is comprised of statistical scientists with applied, computational, methodological, theoretical and probabilistic interests. Their role is to ensure that the journal continues to provide an international forum for the discipline of Statistics. The journal seeks papers making broad points of interest to many readers, whereas papers making important points of more specific interest are better placed in more specialized journals. The levels of innovation and impact are key in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts. Papers should have an introduction which is accessible to a broad audience and makes a compelling case that an important problem is being tackled. Papers developing new methods should typically include real-data examples, as a route to establishing relevance and applicability. Appendices should be used for technical arguments, so that the main body of the paper is easy to follow. Journal of Clinical Periodontology was founded by the British, Dutch, French, German, Scandinavian, and Swiss Societies of Periodontology. The aim of the Journal of Clinical Periodontology is to provide the platform for exchange of scientific and clinical progress in the field of Periodontology and allied disciplines, and to do so at the highest possible level. The Journal also aims to facilitate the application of new scientific knowledge to the daily practice of the concerned disciplines and addresses both practicing clinicians and academics. The Journal is the official publication of the European Federation of Periodontology but wishes to retain its international scope.
