The Hague Journal on the Rule of Law (HJRL) is a multidisciplinary journal that aims to deepen and broaden our knowledge and understanding about the rule of law. Its two main areas of interest are: 1) theoretical issues related to the conceptualization and implementation of the rule of law in domestic and international contexts; 2) the relation between the rule of law and economic development, democratization and human rights protection. The HJRL welcomes contributions from academics and practitioners with expertise in any relevant field, including law, anthropology, economics, philosophy, political science and sociology.
The Hague Journal on the Rule of Law is supported by the Hague Institute for the Internationalisation of Law (HiiL). It is indexed by the Westlaw UK Legal Journals Index (LJI) and the Index to Foreign Legal Publications.

The International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance recognizes and promotes the importance of educational and vocational guidance throughout the whole international community. It publishes articles in relation to work and leisure, career development, career counseling and guidance and career education.Coverage in the International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance has an international content, such as comparative studies, multi or cross-cultural perspectives, and regional surveys, as well as features topics of broad international interest, such as theoretical developments and ethical issues. The journal also contains important national developments that are of wider interest. All articles present implications for practice.

The International Journal of Intelligent Systems serves as a forum for individuals interested in tapping into the vast theories based on intelligent systems construction. International Journal of Limnology (IJL) publishes original articles and reviews on all aspects dealing with the physical or chemical properties, biology and ecology of freshwater and brackish systems. Manuscripts can be proposed about studies performed either in the laboratory or at field. Said differently, IJL aims at providing a unique media for topics addressing inland water environments (physics, chemistry, biogeochemistry, biology, ecology), from both fundamental and functional aspects to applications and management issues. IJL promotes rapid peer-review and rapid publication. In 2020, time from submission to first decision was 1-2 weeks and time from acceptance to online publication was 4 weeks. The official language of the journal is English.

The International Journal of Toxicology publishes timely, peer-reviewed papers on current topics important to toxicologists. Six bi-monthly issues cover a wide range of topics, including contemporary issues in toxicology, safety assessments, novel approaches to toxicological testing, mechanisms of toxicity, biomarkers, and risk assessment. The Journal also publishes invited reviews on contemporary topics, and features articles based on symposia. In addition, supplemental issues are routinely published on various special topics, including three supplements devoted to contributions from the Cosmetic Review Expert Panel. The Journal does not have submission or publication fees, and color pages are now available at a greatly reduced price.

Japan Architectural Review is the official peer-reviewed journal of the Architectural Institute of Japan. The journal covers all aspects of architectural design and building sciences, including perspectives offered through the lens of science, technology, engineering, economics, social science and human-centered design, architectonics and other related fields. The journal provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, innovation and information between architects, researchers and engineers, with the aim of advancing the contribution architecture can make in mitigating and resolving a broad range of problems faced locally and globally. Japan Architectural Review publishes original papers, invited reviews, design reviews and translated papers in the areas noted above. The journal is published quarterly, and all content is published open access.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science (ISSN 1672-3597, CN 31-1908/R) is a journal with an international scope, focusing on the popularization of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture- moxibustion culture, the promotion of international exchanges and the prosperity of clinical Chinese medicine and acupuncture-moxibustion. Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science mainly involves clinical practice and emphasizes the presentation of the detailed methods of observing and treating clinical common diseases on which acupuncture-moxibustion has a good effect. The articles are characterized by practicality, briefness and reproducibility. The main contents include the experiences of senior TCM doctors, forum on special diseases, clinical reports, brief reports, education series, terminology and brief introduction to new books. Communications regarding Academy activities are also appropriate.

Specifically, the journal focuses on:
(i) Theoretical issues relating to development of trade and African trade in particular;
(ii) Policy and institutional matters relating to the development of African trade and trade finance; and
(iii) Other contemporary issues of relevance to the development of global and African trade and trade Finance.

Though the foregoing constitute the primary focus of the Journal, papers relevant to trade and trade facilitation as well as other socio-economic issues, as they relate to social and economic development in Africa in general, will also be covered by JAT. The JAT seeks to facilitate greater understanding of the role of trade and trade-related issues in the process of economic development in Africa.

Since its inception in 1970 the Journal of Arabic Literature has provided an international scholarly forum for the discussion of Arabic literature and has secured its position at the forefront of critical and methodological debate. The journal publishes literary, critical and historical studies, as well as review and bibliographies, on a broad range of Arabic materials n~ classical and modern, written and oral, poetry and prose, literary and colloquial. Studies that seek to integrate Arabic literature into the broader discourses of the humanities and social sciences take their place alongside technical work of a more specialized nature.  The Journal of Bioeconomics is devoted to creative interdisciplinary dialogues between biologists and economists. It promotes the mutual exchange of theories, methods, and data where biology can help explaining economic behavior and the nature of the human economy: and where economics is conducive to understanding the economy of nature. The Journal invites contributions relevant to the bioeconomic agenda from economic fields such as behavioral economics, biometric studies, neuroeconomics, consumer studies, ecological economics, evolutionary economics, evolutionary game theory, political economy, and ethnicity studies. From biology, the Journal welcomes contributions from, among others, evolutionary biology, systematic biology, behavioral ecology, ethology, paleobiology, and sociobiology. The Journal of Cell Biology is an international peer-reviewed journal owned by The Rockefeller University and published by The Rockefeller University Press.In the early 1950s, a small group of biologists began to explore intracellular anatomy using the emerging technology of electron microscopy. Many of these researchers were at The Rockefeller Institute of Medicine, the predecessor of The Rockefeller University. As their work progressed to publication, they were disappointed with the limited quality of halftone image reproduction in the printed journals of the time, and they were frustrated by the narrow editorial policies of existing journals regarding their image-based results. In 1954, the director of The Rockefeller Institute, Detlev Bronk, convened a luncheon to discuss the creation of a new journal as a venue for publication of this type of work (Porter and Bennett, 1981).
