Bioscience Horizons is a free online journal publishing the best undergraduate bioscience research from the UK and Republic of Ireland. The journal provides a forum for students, their supervisors and universities, to showcase high quality undergraduate research work, strengthening the link between teaching and research in higher education. All papers are written by students and can come from a variety of research projects. Manuscripts can be submitted at any time of the year on a continuous publication basis.

Experimental Cell Research promotes the understanding of cell biology by publishing experimental studies on the general organization and activity of cells. The scope of the journal includes all aspects of cell biology, from the molecular level to the level of cell interaction and differentiation.Experimental Cell Research publishes papers in the area of cell and molecular biology, and papers must provide novel and significant insights into important problems in these areas. Articles rejected from Gastroenterology because of their strong biological focus may be directed to ECR for fast track review. Similarly, articles deemed too clinical for ECR and more appropriate for Gastroenterology may be fast tracked through Gastroenterology's review process. Both journals retain editorial independence and reserve the right to request additional changes, re-review, or reject manuscripts.

The Bulletin of the Council for British Research in the Levant ( CBRL Bulletin) is the annual document of record of the CBRL, the British Academy-sponsored society for research into the humanities and social sciences in the Levant based in London, with research centres in the region. The CBRL Bulletin is devoted to providing stimulating articles on current CBRL-funded and affiliated research projects, and includes feature articles and short research reports.

Global Crime is a social science journal devoted to the study of crime broadly conceived. Its focus is deliberately broad and multi-disciplinary and its first aim is to make the best scholarship on crime available to specialists and non-specialists alike. It endorses no particular orthodoxy and draws on authors from a variety of disciplines, including history, sociology, criminology, economics, political science, anthropology and area studies.The editors welcome contributions on any topic relating to crime, including organized criminality, its history, activities, relations with the state, its penetration of the economy and its perception in popular culture. Global Crime also seeks submissions in areas such as corruption, crime and women's studies, illegal migration, terrorism, illicit markets, violence, police studies, and the process of state building. Submissions of articles in the area of methodology are especially welcome. In addition to research articles, the editors encourage submission of review papers, shorter pieces on methodological advances or research findings, and field reports from law enforcement officials.Global Crime is published four times per year, and includes research articles, and ‘dispatches’ highlighting research in progress and field reports from law-enforcement officials. In addition, the journal contains a substantial book review section. Normally, one issue a year is edited by guest editor(s).

Cancer Prevention Research, the newest journal from the American Association for Cancer Research, is devoted exclusively to cancer prevention. The journal publishes important original studies, reviews, and perspectives within the major topic areas of oncogenesis, risk factors and risk assessment, early detection research, and chemopreventive and other interventions, including the basic science behind them. Cancer Prevention Research comprises preclinical, clinical and translational research, with special attention given to molecular discoveries and an emphasis on building a translational bridge between the basic and clinical sciences.

Viticulture Data Journal (VDJ) is an innovative open access peer-reviewed journal which facilitates the publication of data, research articles and other research objects in the area of viticulture. Challenges (ISSN 2078-1547) is a unique international scientific open access journal. It publishes scholarly content which is typically not publishable in traditional research journals, such as research proposals (funded and unfunded), research plans (e.g., a protocol for a systematic review, further research of a technology application, etc.), research or technology ideas, policy studies relating to science and scholarly research, open contests aiming at solving grand challenges, prize announcements, description of prototypes, calls for or description of international research collaborations or complementary support, etc. Manuscripts submitted to Challenges must comply with the highest scientific standards and will be peer-reviewed before a decision regarding possible publication in the journal is made. For funded research proposals, the peer-review process will be skipped and manuscripts published after copy-editing and with comments from the grant review attached, if available. In addition, authors will benefit from discounts on possible publication charges if they subsequently submit papers related to the research project to other MDPI journals.

The Journal of Early Childhood Research is a peer reviewed journal that provides an international forum childhood research, bridging cross-disciplinary areas and applying theory and research within the professional community.
