Scientific African is a peer reviewed, open access, inter- and multidisciplinary scientific journal that is dedicated to expanding access to African research, increasing intra-African scientific collaboration, and building academic research capacity in Africa. The journal aims to provide a modern, highly-visible platform for publishing pan-African research and welcomes submissions from all scientific disciplines in the following broad categories:

Sleep and Biological Rhythms is the official journal of the Japanese Society of Sleep Research, and publishes original research articles dealing with sleep and wakefulness, including biological rhythms. Papers in basic science, medicine and social science relating to sleep and/or biological rhythms will be considered for publication. Both members and non-members of the Japanese Society of Sleep Research are welcome to submit papers to the journal.

AIDS Research and Therapy is an open access, peer reviewed journal publishing basic science and clinically important research articles to help abate the spread of AIDS. The journal is edited by Kailash C. Gupta with the assistance of an expert Editorial Board, including Deputy Editor Greg T. Spear, and Section Editors Edward A. Berger (Basic Science), Genoveffa Franchini (Vaccines), Magnus Gisslen (Neuro-AIDS), Richard Koup (Therapeutics), and John J. Rossi (Novel treatment strategies).

Established in 1868, the Canadian Pharmacists Journal is the oldest continuously published periodical in Canada. Our mission is to attract, disseminate and discuss research and contemporary health care issues and link knowledge to practice. Our vision is to become a leading journal for the application of research and knowledge into pharmacy practice. CPJ is published 6 times per year, with the addition of supplements on specific clinical topics. Both original research and review papers pertaining to clinical, social, regulatory, historical and business topics will be considered for publication. News of interest to the profession, opinion pieces and descriptions of innovative practice models are also welcome.

The journal welcomes reports of original research with a clinical emphasis, including observational studies, clinical trials, and advances in applied and basic laboratory research: the journal particularly welcomes important basic research that contributes to the understanding of coronary artery disease. Issues can contain an in-depth review on a major topic of current interest. These Reviews in Depth are prepared under the editorship of invited specialists, who commission a group of five to six leading workers in the field to contribute articles providing a concise yet in-depth overview of an aspect of the topic under review.

Dendrochronologia is an international scholarly journal in tree-ring research. It publishes high-quality original research dealing with growth rings of woody plants and the application of tree-ring studies to problems in a wide variety of fields including, but not limited to, archaeology, botany, climatology, ecology, forestry, geology and hydrology. Original research articles, reviews, communications, technical notes and personal notes are considered for publication.

The European Journal of Psychology of Education (E.J.P.E.) is published four times a year. Original articles on empirical research, reviews of issues and theoretical discussions on relevant issues are welcome. Its content is not confined to the expression of any specific school of thought or perspective; it is open to a wide diversity of areas of research in psychology of education. Sensitive to the diversity and complementary character of the work in different countries, especially across Europe, the E.J.P.E. serves as a tool for integration of diversities in the main fields of research and offers an opportunity for exchange and discussion.

Frontiers of Medicine  is a general medical journal devoted to publishing original research and review articles on the latest advances in clinical and basic medicine with a focus on epidemiology, traditional Chinese medicine, translational research, healthcare, public health and health policies. International Journal of Robotics Research (IJRR) was the first scholarly publication on robotics research; it continues to supply scientists and students in robot and related fields - artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, computer science, electrical and mechanical engineering - with timely, multidisciplinary material on topics from sensors and sensory interpretations to kinematics in motion planning. IJRR also publishes peer reviewed data papers and multimedia extensions alongside articles.

The Journal of Immunotherapy publishes basic scientific and clinical studies of the immunologic response to tumors and other diseases. Journal of Mathematics in Industry is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It collects worldwide research on mathematical theory and methods applied to problems of modern industry. It brings together research on developments in mathematics for industrial applications, including both methods and the computational challenges they entail. Here, 'industry' is understood as any activity of economic and/or social value. As such, 'mathematics in industry' concerns the field as it actually improves industrial processes and helps to master the major challenges presented by cost and ecological issues. By publishing high-quality, innovative articles, it serves as an essential resource for academic researchers and practitioners alike. At the same time, it provides a common platform for scholars interested in precisely those types of mathematics needed in concrete industrial applications, and articles focusing on the interaction of academia and industry are preferred. In terms of theory, the journal seeks articles with demonstrable mathematical developments motivated by problems of modern industry. With regard to computational aspects, it publishes works introducing new methods and algorithms that represent significant improvements on the existing state of the art of modern numerical and simulations methods. Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal fosters development of the field of employee relations by presenting high-quality, peer-reviewed original research articles and by linking practitioner concerns involving the employment relationship with academic rigor.
